09/07/2025: A wonderful stay at Le Grand Monarque! Everything was perfect, especially the friendly and helpful staff. And, the location is great - restaurants etc in town are easily walkable. I highly recommend this lovely hotel!

07/07/2025: We stayed 1 night in the hotel Le Grand Monarque while traveling. It is located in the middle of the quiet village on the Indre Azay le Rideau, within walking distance of the castle of Azay. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Beautiful bathroom with excellent shower. Slept very well in the excellent bed. Although the hotel is located in the middle of Azay, it was very quiet at night. Well-kept breakfast and friendly, smooth service. Very friendly staff. You can park your car for €7 in a closed, uncovered parking lot. Our congratulations to the management and the team!

19/07/2024: The staff is not competent at all, we ask for a coffee, a pastry, the waitress gives me my coffee, makes me pay but no cake, the manager is there as if he didn't exist Like me, several people 😚😚😐

28/06/2024: Served by a person who was not at all the best, not given a small plate or spoon for a soft cake that didn't fit in the hand, plus there was, I think, a manager, it seemed like it bothered him to give me a spoon that I could eat my cake on the bag I don't recommend it at all in any case for me it's finished as well as my family who didn't appreciate it at all

06/12/2024: Too bad you can't give me a 0/5. I have rarely seen this in fast food even abroad. How can you miss cooking a Dominos pizza? I plan to pay extra for the delivery but the delivery man has no notes other than cents. I order from the app but it's my fault according to the manager, I should have told the delivery man how much he had to take and who maybe even knows how to fill out his pay slip. HONTEUX from HONTEUX. The manager's solution? Give him €50 and he brings me the change later, that’s obvious. Welcome to France in 2024. Avoid at all costs, horrible customer experience because of course for a service of this quality you will have to wait 1 hour.

13/09/2024: Un endroit romantique à souhait. Une cuisine de qualité et des desserts délicieux qui revisitent les standards avec brio. La présentation des plats est à la hauteur du goût. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel qui reste courtois malgré l'indelicatesse de certains clients. Le tout pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

12/09/2024: Havre de paix au milieux des jardins, c est vraiment agréable de déjeuner dans cet endroit si élégant. Acceuil professionnel et souriant. Malgré un manque de personnel nous avons été très bien reçu. Pris le brunch ( merci les commentaires des autres internautes 😉) Plateau copieux, avec petit beurre demi sel pour la charcuterie, confiture cerise pour le fromage. Bon rapport qualité/ prix.

18/11/2024: I've been ordering from them regularly for maybe two years, and they have never disappointed me, for me it's the best pizzas in Tours Sud and even then I don't know the pizzerias in Tours Nord to tell you how much I don't want to see anything other than their own Savoyarde. Over time they even give me extra hot sauces when I ask them! Thank you to the whole team, you delight me every time!

13/12/2024: I came by between noon and two to pick up a package, I was sent *** because the man was in a rush. I work every day until 7 p.m. I will never be able to collect my package. It's shameful, don't relay packages if it's a chore. I do not recommend the welcome, not even a goodbye

02/12/2024: I went to pick up a package, very awkward, stared at from head to toe, asked for a QR code which we didn't receive and returned the packages after 3 days. I don't recommend it at all.

14/12/2024: It’s a shame… me and my family came on Saturday December 14 at noon and what a disappointment! Between the dishes which took 40 minutes to be served cold :/ and the cruel lack of care given to the vegetables and starchy foods it is, once again, a shame. I think there is real work to be done, both on the friendliness of the staff in charge of the grills and the general operation (the pagers are obviously having synchronization problems). I wish you courage knowing the difficult economic situation of the brand. I would be sad to see it disappear, so please do what is necessary to restore this image which continues to deteriorate.

15/08/2024: Very surprised to see opening until 1 p.m. on August 15 on Google and you travel 15 km to arrive in front of a closed door at 11 a.m. It really lacks seriousness

12/08/2024: We have been eating our bread at Marie Blachère for a few years now, it is very good. Overall it's good, BUT the kebab 😱 only has the name, lots of sauce, very little meat, we wondered if it was a vegetarian kebab! And ratatouille??? Too expensive and not great. The recipe is worth revisiting. Great team, smiling and available.

07/12/2024: If you like pizza dough, perfect, no toppings, filling, dry. Dirty toilets. TO RUN!!

03/12/2024: One word: impeccable! We had reserved a location for a snack (elderly people and accompanying persons) The welcome was perfect! The pastries and drinks were served quickly and the location was well identified! I recommend without hesitation! Ps: a big thank you to all the staff present on Tuesday December 3 afternoon for their sympathy, their professionalism and their welcome.

11/11/2024: I would like to put a 0 because obviously the saleswoman took me for a ham. I came to get 8 pain au chocolat and a chocolate Rolls. Instead of serving me the pain au chocolat from the window, the saleswoman went to get the ones from the back of the store. The result is a real cooking disaster that you can see for yourself. Not 1 but all 8 were in the same condition. Instead of admitting her mistake and making another batch, she slips these pastries to customers hoping that no one will notice. Since I was duped I think it is important to share an opinion representative of the quality of your products. (If the pain au chocolat in the window had also been burnt, I wouldn't have bothered to write this review, but they looked very good) Good day.

14/12/2024: This restaurant is to be avoided....more than an hour of waiting to be served an unfortunate burger, which arrives with greasy, barely cooked fries and two salad leaves without a drop of sauce. And same problem at all the other tables, waiting +++ And not even a word to apologize for the wait.

07/12/2024: On a family outing after visiting the castle's Christmas decorations, we sit down for a drink. Two kyr without syrups when requested, same for beer and diabolo, no syrups. Well so far not so bad. My partner paid once we were served. Only 20m later, once we had left, we were approached twice as if we were thieves and had left without paying. Proof of payment requested. Only to realize their mistake. Ashamed ! Little advice: when you kindly come for a drink (without syrup) remember to remind them that YOU PAID.

20/10/2024: Excessive price for an unrecommendable quality of ice cream and Viennese chocolate. We do not recommend this terrace.
