15/09/2024: This starred restaurant is not up to par. No welcome, the decor in particular the furniture absolutely not suitable, not even a tablecloth etc.... The service is not up to standard at all, bread requested never arrived!!! , my wife was forced to drink water from my glass despite ordering a bottle of still water, our neighbors waited halfway through the meal to get wine and again they had to ask!!! , in short unacceptable for a star. As for the menu it is original and focused around the olive, there are some great creations but the whole meal revolves too much around the olive!!!!! Red card for the main dish around the pork with an incredible mismatch for a starred chef, putting so much wasabi which largely takes over all the other flavors and just not possible, moreover the 2 tables around us were all equally shocked. This restaurant doesn't need much to be up to par, but there are too many mistakes to correct to keep its star. Unfortunately I do not recommend this establishment which for me is not at the expected level for a star.

16/12/2024: A very beautiful vaulted room in an intimate setting, in the center of Lyon: Ksar, Moroccan cuisine. Beautiful menu of couscous, tagines, starters and dessert. All served on beautiful plates by an attentive waiter. I recommend this beautiful place for a meal with friends or a romantic starter!

13/12/2024: Some dishes are good, others are not great, the prices are rather excessive and obviously we were made to pay an "extra cost". The restaurant is nicely decorated but could do with a little more lighting (sad effect) Please note: we asked ourselves questions about hygiene in the restaurant (with the presence of a maggot on the table!)

26/05/2025: I'd been meaning to visit this establishment for a while, following a glowing recommendation about the Lebanese restaurant's cuisine and welcome. We arrived, received a friendly welcome, and were comfortably seated in a fairly large room with very simple decor. The menus were quickly dealt, and from that moment on, a sort of race began: eager to choose, eager to finish, the plates and dishes were cleared away as soon as the last lick was finished. This unpleasant feeling that the floor would have to be cleared as quickly as possible reached its peak when the waiter, after setting the tables for the next day, ostentatiously put on his jacket and left the restaurant. We were alone in the room; it was 9:30 p.m. We finished our desserts, ordered hot drinks, of which we would only see half, paid, and found ourselves in the parking lot, "relieved" of €300 for five guests. While the dishes were quite good (we've enjoyed Lebanese cuisine better elsewhere), the quantities didn't match the price (€10 for a mezze). The quality/quantity/price ratio wasn't up to par. Too bad, we won't be back.

10/08/2024: We wanted to treat ourselves to a lovely and exquisite evening in this restaurant after reading that the chef attaches great importance to regional and seasonal products. We were there the evening before and reserved a table from 7:30 p.m. We saw a wedding party on site, which was probably the reason why we couldn't get a table that evening. When we arrived the following day, three tables were occupied. The waiter took a very long time to serve the aperitif (Prosecco). Afterwards there was an amuse-gueule that tasted very good. Since we ordered the menu in five courses including wine accompaniment, we actually wanted to start with the first wine as a cold greeting from the kitchen - we were denied this because we were told that the wine accompaniment only begins with the starter. Okay, let's leave it like that. Bread was served with the first course at the neighboring tables - we had to specifically ask for it. When meat was served for the main course and we saw the generously sized piece at the neighboring table (which, by the way, only the gentleman ate), a certain anticipation set in and made us forget the poor service. Maybe it was the neighbor's car brand (Rolls Royce). that both of our pieces were just the size of the neighbor's - especially since the chef personally found his way to this table and passed everyone else without saying hello. But we can still count ourselves lucky, because the following guests, who also had the menu, had even less on their plates. When the chef found his way to us at the end of the menu, we asked him when the last of the four wines would be served to us. Conclusion: maybe it was the language - we spoke English since we unfortunately only have a rudimentary knowledge of the French language (nostra culpa)? Maybe it was the evening before, the wedding, which perhaps lasted until early morning? Maybe it was the discrepancy between the demands on culinary art and the understanding of good service? All in all, it was an evening of good food (but not cheap - not entirely worth the price) and blatantly poor service. The location helped a little to overcome the disappointment. It's also a shame that they didn't acknowledge the waiter's faux pas in any way.

15/08/2024: From the entrance it announces the color.... We are made to feel that paying by credit card did not suit them... Network problem then later in the evening no more TPE so only in cash if we wanted something at the bar . In terms of food, I found it expensive for what we ate... A tomato mozza (tasteless mozzarella) A skewer of lemon chicken accompanied by rice... Dry chicken (a sauce would have been welcome.) and a timballe of rice that was too dry as well. (the rice was crispy) dessert a macaroon with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a red fruit coulis.... Also without much flavor. Anyway, fortunately we had a good laugh because the meal will not leave a memorable memory.

28/11/2024: Amazing food. Everything was very tasty. The service was terrible, and we had to wait very long for even someone to ask for drinks. The atmosphere is average, nothing special. The winner here is the quality and taste of the food. A bit more pricier than other places in the area.
