18/09/2024: I/we enjoy eating here during every Porquerolles stay. Located somewhat hidden on the village square, you can sit in the backyard in a beautiful, quiet and green garden. The team and reception are warm and accommodating. However, I would recommend reservation. Whether apperetivo, starter, main course, dessert... everything was prepared with love and very tasty. To recommend the thon-mi cuit, but also duck and pizza were an experience. And our special requests (children) were also perfectly addressed. At Auberge des Glycines we always felt like welcome friends and not strangers. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Daniel, who arranged every evening perfectly for us with his charming and courteous manner. I should have consulted the Alim'confiance site beforehand which assigns the hygiene level "Needs improvement" to Marianne as of August 2, 2024. I (unfortunately) also agree with the comments which say that this is no longer the Marianne we knew...

26/06/2025: I would get why you would walk past this place without giving it a thought. However, the food en service are superb. The waiter was extremely nice, was fast with his service and was generous with the wine. The wine they served was delicious and reasonably priced. The food was amazing.p We had duck with an amazing honey sauce and a pizza of which de dough was home made (so we thought) and very special. This is by no means a restaurant for fine dining, but if you want a delicious meal and good service, i would recommend it to everyone.

22/09/2024: This place never disappoints. Had the rotisserie chicken plate which is just perfect the green beans. Artichoke and cauliflower which are incredibly delicious but the winning dish is the beef bourguignon which is outstanding just perfect. A great atmosphere as always in this Parisian institution. They just can’t replicate the feel of this place I’ve been many times to the London outpost and whilst the food is great it just can’t do what this place can in my opinion.

12/09/2024: I have to be honest. I wanted very much to like this simple fast food kosher restaurant, but it didn't deliver. I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. I took one bite and thought, damn that's salty, and I have a high tolerance for salt. I asked my friends to taste it and they too agreed it was beyond salty. Maybe it was an off night. They recommended I eat it with lots of bread or potatoes. That didn't help. It was inedible, so I didn't eat it, but I wanted to give feedback. Afterall, I am a food writer and was trained as a classical french chef based in Paris, and I don't want anyone to fail and feedback is always good, so you can provide the best service and product.., n'est-ce pas? I told one of the "staff" members that it was inedible. He responded, yeah he tasted it that morning and admittedly said it was salty, then why the f*ck did you serve it, or better yet, why wasn't it fixed. Whether they do anything, is up to them. I did taste my husband's fish, and it was fair. And, the chicken was good. For those reasons if I only had the boeuf bourguignon I would've rated in terrible. Net-net, if you're tasting food and it is NOT to your standards, then don't serve it. Would I go back, I'm honestly not sure. Amicalement, Food critic/travel writer....

19/01/2025: I went to eat for the first time at Alice Baba's Palace with a friend. The restaurant was not yet open but the gentleman asked us if it was. Wanted to book one at the last minute to avoid the queue that he can always be very friendly and smiling, I highly recommend.

30/09/2024: Un couscous royal à emporter pour 9 personnes : Excellent. Prêt à l'heure dite. Parfaitement préparé pour le transport. Et un accueil tout aussi royal !
