The homemade couscous is perfect, subtly spiced, the meat cooked to perfection, the grains delicate and light, and the vegetables and sauce are plentiful. 03/03/2026: A fantastic find at Casa Mauricio! We're not from around here, so stumbling upon a little restaurant like this for our lunch break (we're construction workers in the area) was a real treat. The welcome was incredibly warm; we immediately felt at ease, like we were at home. And most importantly… the food was delicious! The portions were generous, beautifully prepared, and the quality was definitely there. Honestly, a very pleasant surprise. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

26/02/2026: When we're in Ax-les-Thermes, we go to this restaurant where the food is very good, the waitresses are very friendly, and the decor is lovely. Easy to get to from the Couloubret baths!

18/02/2026: Hello, for my birthday my daughter tried to reserve a table by phone without success, so she sent a reservation email. We arrived, and the owner, I suppose, was overwhelmed and frantic, running around everywhere. (You must reserve!) True, but you haven't read your emails, madam. We were seated at a table, waited 20 minutes, and then, bam! The devil came out of the box. The set menu of the day, a truck stop menu by the way, and then she rattled off the choices without offering us an aperitif. Alcohol was awful, and Dry January was over. We asked for the menu, but oh dear! It's only the weekend; it would be good to communicate that. In short, we had a quick bite for two without dessert, and our friends went elsewhere. The owner couldn't have cared less. This is the second time we've tried this restaurant, once this summer. Same herbal tea, the owner is 2000 (presumably referring to a local alcoholic beverage) and pumped full of Red Bull. Oh no, it's full, thank you, goodbye. The owner is unfriendly except to the regular lunchtime customers and disrespectful to her waitress, who is incapable of managing a set menu. I'll let you imagine what it's like on weekends with the regular menu.

The welcome is exceptional (always a smile and the owner's kindness). A family restaurant for over 45 years—everything to ensure a pleasant experience! A big thank you to the chef and his wife. Thank you very much.

09/01/2026: We were there in December and were able to have a leisurely breakfast. And the view is more than just decent.

16/12/2025: Magnificent, especially when the terrace isn't there. The beach regains its grandeur, and the path leading to the magnificent hike is finally visible. This hike that circles the peninsula is incredible 😻.

21/02/2026: We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM and the person who "greeted" us informed us that the restaurant was closed and that we should come back in 30 minutes. Okay, no problem. We stayed and felt like we were bothering her. So we went for a walk and returned at 7:00 PM. We went back in and the same person showed us to our seats. We sat down and then asked if there would be a long wait. She told us yes, about 15-20 minutes, since the employees were eating because they had been fasting. It's unacceptable to have this kind of behavior and attitude towards customers.

16/12/2025: A very friendly welcome, quick service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a subtle, unobtrusive electronic soundtrack. The adults appreciated the peaceful setting, which was great in the middle of August, and the children enjoyed playing pétanque without disturbing anyone in the back courtyard. In short, perfect.

19/09/2025: Laurent passed away this summer. It is with great sadness that we lost this unique man with a big heart. He will forever remain our beloved host in our pallet village of Le Tholonet. 30/12/2025: I've honestly had better pizzas than that… but the Itagliolini pasta was good… when I see the number of positive reviews, I wonder if it hasn't changed ownership in the meantime…! The prices are reasonable, the service leaves much to be desired; the waitress didn't smile. There was no information about dishes not on the menu… so they asked if you had everything you needed for dessert… and again, no Banana Split… in short, the desserts were uninteresting… For takeout, it's acceptable, but otherwise…
