Good welcome with a smile very well placed on the edges of the quays not far from the city center without the inconvenience of the hustle and bustle of the city. Don't expect ultra-fast service because everything is done on site at the minute, which guarantees a very good quality of dishes served and frankly you will not be disappointed. It's more than a recommendation, it's an obligation to stop there

24/11/2024: I can say that every aspect of the lunch was absolutely perfect. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome and the atmosphere put us at ease. The menu offers a nice variety of dishes, each prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the entrecôte which was excellent. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who were able to respond to all our requests. The setting is charming and offers an ideal atmosphere for the meal. From starter to dessert, every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. We will definitely come back!

07/09/2024: J’ai eu probablement la pire expérience dans un bar depuis longtemps. J'y étais déjà allée quelques fois, mais cette fois-ci, l'expérience a été horrible. J'étais assis sur la terrasse avec trois autres amis lorsqu'un serveur est arrivé et, sans rien nous dire, a pris notre table pour la déplacer sur le côté afin de faire de la place, mais comme nos boissons étaient sur la table, il m'a éclaboussée partout, et lorsque je lui ai demandé de faire plus attention, il m'a crié qu'il était le patron et qu'il pouvait faire ce qu'il voulait et de ne pas l'ennuyer. Après cela, à chaque fois qu'il passait, il me regardait et, en le faisant, il faisait des commentaires aux autres travailleurs dans un autre langue (qui semblaient moyen-orientales, ce que je ne comprends pas). Je n’ai pas eu envie d’en deuxième verre, je n'y retournerai pas et je ne conseille à personne d'y aller. — I had probably the worst experience in a bar for a long time. I'd been there a few times before, but this time it was horrible. I was sitting on the terrace with three other friends when a waiter came up and, without saying anything to us, took our table and moved it to the side to make room, but as our drinks were on the table he splashed me everywhere, and when I asked him to be more careful he shouted at me that he was the boss and could do what he wanted and not bother him. After that, every time he passed, he looked at me and, as he did so, made comments to the other workers in another language (which sounded Middle Eastern, which I don't understand). I didn't fancy a second drink, I won't be going back and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.

08/09/2024: Too bad the vegetables aren't cooked, the chickpeas are separate, just out of the can so not cooked. The meat is not cooked in the broth either. Beautiful decor nonetheless and kind staff. There are only 3 digestives instead of all those offered on the menu. Really a shame!

03/08/2024: A very well-kept hotel with history. The staff is very polite and accommodating, our room was at a perfect temperature despite the outside temperature of 37 degrees thanks to the air conditioning running. The furnishings are old but very stylish and high quality. All in all a beautiful place in Avignon. We will be back.

30/06/2025: The food arrived promptly, and the staff was friendly in some areas. The prices are rather high. The fact that the food is far too oily is more a matter of taste. They use far too much oil and far too much butter. And the pizzas are also topped with a lot of cheese—tons and tons. My dish is drenched in oil, and even the side salad is oily and inedible. Not pleasant at all.

15/12/2024: I order a galette 3 steaks 3 cheese with tomato onion salad and no I don't have salad nothing it's boring we pay to have an extra that we don't have in the end I won't come back because it's not the first Foix.

30/08/2024: On voulait essayer ce restaurant , connaissant celui de deauville qui avait été plutôt satisfaisant. Mais la !!! Intérieur bien vieillot comme laissé a l abandon , aucun client et la table proposée au fond de la salle coté cuisine… bon il n etait que 20 h Notre choix ;couscous jarret et végétarien pour mon épouse. Et la !!!!un constat surprenant ;Les légumes a force d être réchauffés et baignés dans leur jus etaient mous , aucune saveur ni soupçon d epices , viande bien servie mais …😪 Et pour finir , un thé sans menthe fraiche ,l addition bien salée : seul point positif le service … ca sera la 1 ere et dernière fois. Dommage.
