29/08/2026: A wonderful discovery, a very warm welcome, and excellent food. They even offered us tea.

25/08/2026: A wonderful discovery at L’Étoile Verte in Magny-en-Vexin! We ordered a Berber tagine with extra green olives and a chicken, lemon, and olive tagine with extra prunes, accompanied by two mint teas. The tagines were truly excellent: generous portions, perfectly aromatic, and above all, bursting with authentic Moroccan flavors. The vegetables were meltingly tender, the meat succulent, and the spices perfectly balanced. The extra green olives added a delightful touch that I highly recommend. And to finish, the mint tea served in beautiful traditional glasses was the perfect ending to the meal. Honestly, I don't think the current rating truly reflects the quality and flavors offered by this restaurant. Our experience was excellent, and we left with only one desire: to return and try other specialties. An address I wholeheartedly recommend to lovers of Moroccan cuisine.

21/08/2026: It could have been a great evening... but we were right under the kitchen exhaust at the far end of the terrace. Being allergic to shellfish and seafood, the cooking of the cuttlefish gave me food poisoning. As I write this, I'm in the emergency room getting an adrenaline rush. How is it possible that an establishment isn't equipped with an exhaust system that meets the expected standards for this sector? It's a shame, it could have been a great evening.

14/06/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. I ordered lamb couscous and had a stomach ache and frequent trips to the bathroom... And the couscous itself was poor quality. The leftover sauce and vegetables were then served to other people, so there you have it.... Aren't you ashamed?! You're driving customers away.

16/07/2026: Avoid this place! I went there for dinner and my dish was cold and bland. The meat was scalding hot on the outside and cold on the inside, and the hummus tasted just like the kind you buy at the supermarket—they just slapped olive oil on top and dumped it on the table. The falafels were homemade, but they were severely under-seasoned. The baklava wasn't even homemade, and it was tiny for the price! Luckily, the waiter was very kind. This restaurant doesn't deserve the name "Lebanese restaurant."

09/07/2026: The setting and staff were very pleasant, and there was a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes! The food was all excellent and served quickly. I highly recommend it!

30/08/2026: I sometimes come for the falafel pitas, which are very good, but unfortunately the service is always terrible. The woman who takes the cash register is very unpleasant and pushy; you have to fight for a greeting, and good luck getting a smile. Sometimes the man who prepares the takeaway meals is nice, but not today, and politeness was completely absent. In short, the food is very good, but the service makes the meal dreadful, I admit. If you feel like eating here on a bad day, don't go unless you want to lose your mind…

28/05/2026: We travel in France a lot, and try to stay in Chateu whenever possible. We are always happy with the Chateau, but wow the country club was exceptional. The chateau, the rooms, the staff, the estate, and the food - or I should say the cuisine - are all wonderful. We had a breakfast there - yummy - and the dinner was perfection. The Sequoia room looks out onto the immaculate estate and the Chef was right on the mark. Plus you have the racetrack nearby so there is lots to do. And yes, we are headed back in a few months for another fabulous French experience!

09/05/2026: The location was perfect for my stopover from the UK to Spain. The grounds were extensive and ideal for walking the dog. The room was fine for just one person with a dog but would be a little small for two. However all the staff were extremely kind and professional and I am booked in to stay again.

11/09/2026: A fantastic find in Cannes! Everything is homemade, from the pizza dough to the fresh pasta, and it really shows. The pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious, as were the homemade desserts. The service was warm and attentive. We paid only €40 for a pizza, a pasta dish, and a carafe of wine—excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!

02/09/2026: I ate there at least three times a month for almost 14 years. Alex's pizzas are fabulous. An old-fashioned restaurant like we wish we saw more often. The complimentary aperitif before each meal is a rare find these days, but not here. A place to try; everything is handmade the old-fashioned way!
