30/11/2025: This authentic Moroccan restaurant is a great find, with its beautiful interior decor. The couscous was very good, perhaps a little pricey at €26 for couscous with merguez sausage, given its location on the seafront and port of Saint-Raphaël. However, we did ask for more broth as there wasn't enough, and it was quickly returned. The service was also very good. I recommend this restaurant.
13/11/2025: Given the location and the restaurant's reputation, we were expecting something good. The tagine wasn't traditional (the vegetables were leftover from the couscous sauce), the meat was a bit tough, and many dishes listed on the menu were unavailable. It makes you wonder why this restaurant stays open in the off-season if it's just going to be self-destructive… I did, however, appreciate the friendly staff.

29/09/2024: Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! Wondered around looking for food and what ultimately stopped us here was the smell. We looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. We couldn’t decide what we wanted and saw a sign for a set menu. So we gave that a try. We kept seeing people get the mussels and so we tried that and it was fantastic! The rest of the food was mediocre though. The Bouillabaisee smelled nice but didn’t taste as nice. I’ve always wanted to try it, but did expect more flavor. The table bread came with no butter or olive oil, just mediocre bread. The salmon was cooked well, but didn’t have as much flavor as we’ve had before. The crème brûlée for dessert was lovely but the tiramisu seemed just put together and then lady fingers not soaked in coffee, just a cake in creme with cocoa on top. The setting in the street was nice, but a bit chilly as the sun went away. No heaters provided at this time of year.
26/09/2024: Deception and disappointment. Waiters are young and unprofessional. They gave only one piece of butter and piece of lemon to a portion of oysters, it's a shame and stinginess. Brought an already opened bottle of water to our table, as they often serve free water in many restaurants in Nice, but then included it in the bill for €5.50!!! The ashtray was brought when we were about to leave. It seemed that all employees, together with the owner, were tired of guests and work, although there were no guests in the restaurant, we did not feel friendly from them, none of them even smiled during the dinner. Good luck, draw your own conclusions, I described my true impressions. There are many other restaurants in Nice with good food and excellent waiters, where I leave a tip with pleasure

01/09/2024: My favorite restaurant for years, I was disappointed with my meal today. The orange tagine is bland, but above all I found several pieces of bone and cartilage in the chicken pastilla. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere as lovely as ever, but I won't be returning.

20/10/2024: 8 night stay from August 10 to 18, 2024. We arrived after 7 p.m., everything had been prepared by the receptionist in a secure box. However, upon arrival we were very disappointed. The residence is dilapidated and in its original state. The common areas (especially the stairs) were dirty. When we arrived upstairs, an unpleasant smell was present as well as in the studio. Concerning the studio, it was not at an acceptable level of cleanliness. Indeed, only the bathroom was clean (except for the shower curtain). The kitchenette was not clean, the dishes very dirty (cup with traces of coffee, pan - see photo), the refrigerator frosty, crumbs in the cupboard, cupboard above the kitchenette greasy (not cleaned for several weeks) and the inventory was not up to date. All the furniture is dusty and dirty (traces of cups on the bedside tables, sticky remote control). When we arrived at 9 p.m., we had to clean up; for example, we cleaned the headboard before putting on our sheets, the wipe did not come out white (unsurprisingly). As soon as we arrived, we communicated by SMS with the person and attached photos. The next morning we then spoke. The conversation was quite tense, the receptionist then asked us if what we were looking for was a refund for the stay. This was absolutely not our intention. We simply wanted an apology, for her to acknowledge the facts and do what was necessary; At the end of the conversation, it was agreed to change the shower curtain and the pan (which was done) and to clean the dishes (which was not done). Regarding the lack of maintenance, the receptionist suggested that this was indeed a problem, but that it was obviously not her responsibility (obviously that of previous customers!!!). Please note, however, that the end-of-stay cleaning fees were offered to us as well as the presence of the dog: we appreciated this commercial gesture. However, this in no way takes away the unpleasant attitude of the receptionist, who speaks in a haughty tone and seems little understanding of the disappointment we may have when arriving on vacation in such conditions. At the time of booking, we unfortunately did not anticipate the question of parking, there is no parking adjacent to the hotel. It is difficult to find a place outside the blue zone (beware of lawsuits if parking in unauthorized spaces or if the disk is not updated every 3 hours). Likewise, we had booked for the proximity to the beach (ideal location) but we had not inquired about the beach accessible to dogs which is located 2 km away. In summary, a dilapidated establishment, a studio which could do the job for a short stay if the cleanliness was correct. A bottle of water and at least a roll of toilet paper would be welcome on arrival.
29/09/2024: The location right on the beach is perfect. It's a 5-minute walk to the restaurants in the city center. Unfortunately there is only some cleaning and not much renovation. The rooms are functionally equipped, but everything is somehow old and shabby. You could invest 50 euros in each room so that you have the same glasses, cutlery and plates. The ladies at reception are very nice and helpful. Why you have to pay for bed linen from the 7th day is a mystery to me - if you only stay for 3 days it's free.

21/10/2025: A restaurant that far exceeds its ratings. While passing through Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we came across this restaurant even though it hadn't been recommended to us. The friendliness, the owner's wine recommendations, and the quality of the cod were all excellent.
28/09/2025: Avoid!!! Tourist trap Sangria diluted with water! Menu not worthy of a restaurant, a so-called paella served in a casserole dish, undercooked risotto, no saffron, no chorizo, no shrimp, a disgrace!!! Fried smelts, no accompanying sauce, Iberian charcuterie, not even butter!!! Nothing!! Long wait between the starter and the main course!!!

07/09/2024: There were 6 of us to eat, don't go there, the burger was cold, bland, the yellow, almost white, uncooked frozen fries. The color of tartare without sauce. Salad without seasoning etc. One of my colleagues was sick this morning, it very much looked like food poisoning. I'm not used to leaving reviews on the internet but I had to, this type of establishment should not exist, it's unacceptable.
14/08/2024: Very bad fit, poor quality. It takes a lot for me to leave my plate almost full... onion soup made with just bread and broth, terrible cod.

18/11/2024: Restaurant sans âme servant des produits de qualité médiocre: le pain servi avec les tapas n'est pas frais , la planche mixte n'est pas généreuse en quantité, les croquettes étaient correctes mais je doute qu'elles aient été faites maison, de même que les beignets de calamars juste réchauffés , pas d'originalité dans les tapas proposés. Il n'y a qu'un seul vin rouge espagnol et un seul vin rouge français à la carte. C'est dommage avec un tel emplacement ! je ne recommanderai pas ce restaurant.
10/11/2024: Difficile de faire aussi pathétique. Nous nous n’attendions pas à de la grande cuisine dans ce quartier, les enfants avaient faim on a choisi le 1er resto. La nourriture ici n’est pas un plaisir mais simplement un moyen de gagner de l’argent. A fuir sauf si vous donner aucun intérêt à la nourriture et la cuisine

01/09/2024: Je suis récemment allé dîner dans ce restaurant, attiré par son cadre extérieur charmant et la réputation de son service. Je dois dire que j'ai été impressionné par la gentillesse et le sourire des jeunes filles qui se sont occupées de nous. Elles étaient aux petits soins, rendant l'expérience plus agréable par leur attitude chaleureuse et attentionnée. Malheureusement, cette première impression positive a été ternie par l'attitude du responsable, qui s'est montré froid, stressé et même un peu arrogant. Il ne nous a même pas demandé si nous étions satisfaits de notre repas, ce qui est vraiment dommage et contraste fortement avec le comportement exemplaire du reste du personnel. En ce qui concerne la cuisine, j'ai été déçu. Nous avons opté pour le menu dégustation le plus cher à 78 €, espérant une expérience culinaire à la hauteur du prix. Malheureusement, les plats manquaient cruellement de diversité. Nous avons été surpris de retrouver des pois chiches dans presque tous les plats, y compris l'amuse-bouche, l'entrée et le plat principal. À tel point que la répétition devenait lassante. Les artichauts trop cuit à l’eau, manifestement préparés à l'avance, avaient une odeur de frigo désagréable. Les quelques légumes présents étaient trop cuits, et la qualité générale des plats laissait à désirer. De plus, bien que l'une des serveuses nous ait dit qu'il n'y aurait aucun problème à changer l'entrée pour une option du menu moins cher, le responsable a insisté sur le fait que cela entraînerait un supplément, ce qui a encore plus assombri notre expérience. En somme, malgré un cadre agréable et un service de qualité assuré par les jeunes serveuses, la cuisine décevante et l'attitude du responsable ne m'incitent pas à revenir dîner dans cet établissement. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant si vous cherchez une expérience culinaire de qualité.
01/09/2024: **Opinion: A disappointment despite a pleasant setting and attentive service** I recently dined at this restaurant, attracted by its charming outdoor setting and reputation for service. I must say that I was impressed by the kindness and smiles of the young girls who took care of us. They took great care, making the experience more pleasant with their warm and attentive attitude. Unfortunately, this first positive impression was tarnished by the attitude of the manager, who appeared cold, stressed and even arrogant. He didn't even ask us if we were satisfied with our meal, the worst part, the next day, he completely ignored us and didn't say hello! We were guests of the hotel which is a real shame and contrasts sharply with the exemplary behavior of the rest of the staff. As for the food, I was disappointed. We opted for the more expensive tasting menu at €78, hoping for a culinary experience worthy of the price. Unfortunately, the dishes were sorely lacking in diversity. We were surprised to find chickpeas in almost every dish, including the appetizer, starter and main course. So much so that the repetition became boring. The overcooked artichokes, obviously prepared in advance, had an unpleasant refrigerator smell. The few vegetables present were overcooked, and the general quality of the dishes left something to be desired. Additionally, although one of the waitresses told us that there would be no problem changing the starter to a cheaper menu option, the manager insisted that this would incur an additional charge, which further clouded our experience. In short, despite a pleasant setting and quality service provided by the young waitresses, the disappointing cuisine and the attitude of the manager do not encourage me to return to dine in this establishment. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a quality dining experience.

29/10/2024: The mussels lacked freshness, probably because they had been cooked for lunch service and reheated for evening service. This affects texture, taste and freshness. There were only 3 tables on the terrace. Was the "chef" so busy with his tables that he didn't take 5 minutes for a la minute cooking or was he more concerned with "re-baking" his molds from the previous service. At €20.00 per portion, it’s UNALLOWABLE! Spoiled dinner. This would also merit a small health inspection to check the conservation of food between 2 services. Obviously, we will never return to this pseudo restaurant.

24/08/2024: Salmon ravioli: is it a dish with 6 frozen ravioli chasing each other in a “salmon” sauce?? For €18.50?? Really there is no salmon in this dish, it's just the sauce which could be a salmon bisque? I don't recommend this dish in any case 😅 Very disappointed with the cuisine as well as the service which is not at all quality. As soon as we ask the waiter, he doesn't know how to answer me specifically about the drinks 😅 This cuisine is amateur and it is disappointing for this Italian restaurant which says that its products are fresh and imported directly from Italy? Um ok okay 😅

22/08/2024: En visite à Sistero, ns ns sommes arêtes ds cet établissement. Nous aurions dû prospecter un peu plus. Nous voulions déguster les plats régionaux, un seul a la carte. La personne qui nous a accueilli et servi n’était pas du tout souriante. On a eu l’impression de la déranger, pas de carte de vin qui nous a été proposé. Qualité du repas médiocre.
