01/03/2026: It's disheartening to read all these reviews! In any case, it had been a long time since I'd eaten a meal that was so carefully prepared, homemade and not just assembled! From the service to the food, everything was well orchestrated: a pleasant terrace, attentive staff, and a family atmosphere. Before, I only came for coffee, but now I'll definitely be back for lunch more often! The monkfish was excellent, thank you to the chef! 🤩 In any case, ladies and gentlemen, don't listen to the naysayers; go and see for yourselves. I highly recommend it.

27/01/2026: I bought an individual galette des rois for €4. What a disappointment! The galette was extremely dry, with a tiny amount of frangipane. Ultimately, it's essentially just poor-quality puff pastry, lacking any richness or moistness. The price is completely unjustified. At that price, the product is simply inedible.

08/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Versailles! The Essaouira restaurant offers authentic and generous Moroccan cuisine, with truly delicious couscous and tagines. The portions are generous, the semolina light, and the meats perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The welcome is warm, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance, with its oriental decor, is both convivial and relaxing. An excellent spot near the Versailles market to travel the world for a meal, with the added bonus of very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially if you love authentic Moroccan specialties.

01/03/2026: We wanted to order teas and a harira (there were three of us), but they told us we couldn't go inside because we had to order more, even though the restaurant wasn't full at that time (plus it was cold). The tea was okay and the harira was good. However, I won't be going back because I don't think it's right to put people outside just because they don't order plates, and we also got the impression that we weren't welcome because of our background. They didn't put napkins on the table and they put the spoon directly on the table instead of on the plate. There was also an eyelash on the bread. The Tunisian waiter, on the other hand, was pleasant. P.S. Your rude response shows the kind of person you are! * I don't recommend this place to anyone

02/03/2026: We booked for a Sunday evening, and the restaurant called us back because they weren't taking reservations that day, but they were offering catering. So we ordered, the service was impeccable, and the dishes were delicious, full of flavor, and especially very generous! We highly recommend it.

03/03/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! A complete disaster from start to finish! First, we entered an empty and dark restaurant. We were seated directly by the bar, from which the first waiter observed and listened to our conversation without any hesitation, responding to everything we said without being asked. The second waitress stared at us throughout our meal. Neither of them spoke French, and they were very unpleasant. The food was very average, especially considering the prices. The portions were very small (don't come hungry!). The menus provided no details, not even the prices for drinks! They were vague, so we didn't know what we were ordering (the food was mediocre in the end). The dishes were served to us piecemeal, without any organization or logic. We could tell they were cutting corners on the portion sizes. The final straw; A brawl broke out between the two "waiters" right by the bar, against which we were seated. She practically threatened to slap him... a disaster! Please, whoever you are, don't put yourself through that.

17/02/2026: I'm not a regular customer, but a few weeks ago, I had no complaints; it was decent and good, with a fair price. So I decided to go back. I placed my order directly on the spot, and that's when I noticed the second person had come in from outside, hadn't washed their hands, was touching the meat directly with their bare hands, scratching their ears a little, and coughing over it. (It was kebab meat, already cut and therefore heated on the griddle.) To reassure myself, I thought maybe I hadn't seen them wash their hands when they came in, but of course not! The handwashing station provided was as dry as the desert. 😂

01/01/2026: The kebab was very salty, the turkey meat was very mild, and there was very little red cabbage, even though I asked for it. We won't be going back.

22/02/2026: Small portions, and a glass of pale red wine that was tasteless and low in alcohol: surprising for a local wine

15/02/2026: This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our dishes were very good, the staff very friendly, and the decor is pleasant. We will gladly return to try other dishes.
