02/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! We stumbled upon this place quite by chance, tired of the chain restaurants in shopping centers, and we're so glad we did.
The set menu was excellent, the welcome warm, and a special mention goes to our waitress, who was truly friendly, smiling, and attentive.
A restaurant just the way we like them: welcoming and authentic. We'll definitely be back!
28/09/2026: We stumbled upon this place on a whim, and what a delightful surprise! The products are of excellent quality and everything is homemade; you can taste the difference. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

03/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! The place is magnificent, both elegant and cozy. The service is simply impeccable, worthy of a 5-star establishment, with an attentive and professional team. The background music transported us to Brazil—it was perfect. As for the dishes, they are delicious, refined, and perfectly executed.
We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. A true gem in Metz that we recommend without hesitation!

The terrace needs a refresh; it's neglected and doesn't match the quality of the food served... a pity.

19/09/2026: This hotel breathes the calm of the region, provides for the local gastronomic specialities, and is run by people who accomodate their guests in any way possible. The interior of the restaurant is classical and esthetically pleasing. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Everything inside looks like newly remodeled. There is plenty of room for parking of cars, motorcycles or bicycles in the backyard.
24/05/2026: We just experienced the super warm welcome.
The restaurant, despite being the day before the annual holiday, was super welcoming, good advice, and quality products.
The daily special was a hit.
Small menu but a great treat.
My wife and I highly recommend it. A little pleasure from the very high-quality table. A must-do once a year 😁

13/09/2026: I bought a goat cheese taco, got home, and it wasn't topped with cheese. I couldn't be bothered going back, especially since I live 20 minutes away. But at €2.20 for the topping, it's a rip-off, especially since I waited 40 minutes! The service is appalling! The kitchen staff don't even have their hair covered, the wait is endless... and the young woman at the counter keeps touching her hair and doesn't know how to do her job... they really need to overhaul everything!

Whether you're there for lunch, to discover the products in the Italian grocery section, or to participate in a creative workshop, the welcome is always warm. Audrey and Johanne have created a vibrant and generous space where you feel almost at home. I highly recommend it!
And they even have gluten-free pasta! 🤗

02/10/2026: Excellent experience as usual. A charcuterie board for my husband, beef tartare for me. And let's not forget the lovely Pinot Gris we both enjoyed.
We were treated to a complimentary aperitif and a slice of cake for our birthdays (September 26th and October 1st), accompanied by a hilarious chorus from the waiters 🤩

Friendly and attentive service. If it's busy, be prepared to wait a bit – but if you don't have that kind of time, you're probably better off going to a fast-food restaurant anyway.

09/09/2026: This is the second all-inclusive birthday party we've held at Le Caveau, a warm and authentic venue. The vaulted cellar is simply magnificent. The owners, Eva and Ben, who offer a high-quality catering service, go above and beyond to ensure the party is a success. Everything was truly perfect. A beautiful place that I recommend 100%.
