20/04/2026: Hello, I'm disappointed with the menus. There's less and less on the plate. Before, there used to be a bit of salad and tomatoes with the meat, but now there's nothing. It's terrible. Plus, the restaurant needs a complete overhaul; it wasn't clean. We went to another Buffalo Grill, which had been renovated and looked fantastic. It's very inviting, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I think they should be an example to make an effort in many areas.

17/04/2026: We came in as a couple between noon and 2 pm for a quick bite, and we went with the "recommendations of the moment" between the escalope with Munster cheese and roasted baby potatoes, and the poutine with pulled chicken... WOW! We were expecting something decent but nothing special... But we absolutely loved it! The pulled chicken was excellent with the cheddar, etc., just the right amount. The chicken escalope was so tender... The cooking was perfect and absolutely flawless. A nice touch was the unsalted potatoes and fries, so you can add salt to your liking if you want (I didn't add any extra salt). We'll definitely be back, especially with the very reasonable price. And also, the whole team is friendly and welcoming! It's so refreshing ❤️ Thank you

09/04/2026: Passing through the region of my childhood, I rediscovered this welcoming restaurant with its pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. The daily special, lamb shank, was very generous and well-presented, with excellent meat. The price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend it.

22/03/2026: We love this restaurant with its traditional cuisine! First of all, the welcome is always warm and friendly. Having eaten there several times, we've never been disappointed, and during the week they always have a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert at a very reasonable price. On weekends, you can rely on their small à la carte menu. Here, you just have to sit back and enjoy your meal in a pleasant atmosphere with consistently friendly and helpful service.

18/04/2026: Located in a small, very quiet mountain village, the building is historic but has been modernized and well-maintained. Family-run, so care and attention are paid to every detail. The staff are extremely polite, courteous, and hospitable. The restaurant offers high-quality cuisine, far above what is typically offered in this type of hotel. The dishes are limited, but expertly prepared. Cleanliness, heating, and Wi-Fi are no problem. The surrounding area is charming. Highly recommended.

The dishes are true works of art: delicate flavor combinations, remarkably fresh ingredients, and breathtaking presentation. Each plate is a visual and gustatory surprise. 27/02/2026: A restaurant that deserves a Michelin star. A huge thank you to the Chef for his passion, creativity, and love of his craft. Updating the menu every two weeks and constantly surprising guests with innovative flavor combinations and exceptionally high-quality ingredients is simply remarkable. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to photograph the langoustine appetizer, but it was a true masterpiece. As for the main course, the Wagyu beef and beef cheeks were remarkably tender and delicate. The wine list is also exceptional, with a superb selection, and the food and wine pairings are perfectly suggested. A special thank you as well for the amuse-bouches: a delightful surprise with every visit. ❤️ February 26, 2026

01/03/2026: Excellent pizza and very friendly staff! The dough and toppings are delicious; I've been back several times :)

03/01/2026: I used to get pizzas there, but last night... the service was like something out of a bad comedy film, not to mention that the toppings on my pizza were... nonexistent. Before that, I had no complaints. Being a customer who doesn't like being ripped off, and greeted by someone who was practically condescending (not the pizza maker, who was very, very nice), well, I'll be avoiding them at least until 2026.

03/04/2026: The worst Vosges salad of my life... for 15 euros, seriously? Half an egg, two cherry tomatoes, bagged croutons, that's ridiculous... A little bit of greenery. 15 euros. The waiter was nice, thank goodness.

03/04/2026: Excellent two-day stay at the end of March. I had booked the Jack London lodge for four adults. Before my arrival, I had a few additional questions and always received answers by calling the park. The lodge reception area is truly lovely, with smiling and friendly staff. We were given all the information we needed for our stay. We were able to visit the park in peace and quiet (it was a weekday and off-season). The "Chez Liliane" restaurant was the only one open (given the crowds, it seemed logical not to open more to avoid food waste). There wasn't a huge selection, but the main courses were good and generous. The park has numerous benches placed along the various paths, which is very helpful for people who have difficulty standing for long periods. When the lodge was ready, the team drove us and our luggage in an electric buggy. The accommodation was truly magnificent. Large, very clean, and fully equipped, with views of the black wolves from the terrace, the living room, and both bedrooms. The jacuzzi was spacious, and the water temperature was perfect (despite an outside temperature between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius). The evening meal was excellent (we chose our dishes before our arrival), and the breakfast was generous with very good products (many of which were even locally sourced). The following day, we had the opportunity to take the miniature train tour, which allowed us to see a part of the park that is inaccessible on foot. All four of us were delighted with our 48 hours at Sainte Croix, and we thank all the park staff for their professionalism and kindness.

03/04/2026: A wonderful experience: we stayed at the Bear Lodge for one night. Regarding the check-in: excellent, smooth, and quick. The staff is kind and welcoming. Regarding the accommodation: it's truly a magical experience. The view of the bears, bison, and coyotes in a vast enclosure is truly an unforgettable experience. The animals are easily visible. The hotel-style service is excellent; the accommodation is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bedding is very good. The respect for the environment is also appreciated. Everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. Regarding the park: access to the park for two days really allows you to enjoy it, especially outside of peak hours. The park is well laid out, and you can see the animals clearly, particularly when the park is quiet. It's truly delightful. Regarding the food: dinner and breakfast are very good. The view from the panoramic restaurant at breakfast allows you to watch the deer being fed, which is very enjoyable. It's really fantastic! Breakfast was plentiful and good. Dinner was decent and filling. I recommend it!
