Les meilleurs restaurants en Puy-De-Dome

15/09/2024: Nous voulions manger au bord de ce beau lac de Chambon, mais le grand restaurant n'ayant pas de bons avis, surtout côté accueil, nous hésitions. De passage la veille, nous avions repéré un peu plus loin cet établissement qui bénéficiait de la même vue, avec une carte et des prix sensiblement identiques. Nous sommes accueillis par un employé fort sympathique et avec le sens de l'humour. Vite installés sur la terrasse surélevée, et tout aussi rapidement informés avec les cartes présentées. Un p'tit apéro sympa pour commencer, spritz Virgin sans alcool et un très bon verre de vin Impromptu. Ensuite nous nous sommes régalés avec une omelette aux girolles et une assiette gigantesque pour une très copieuse truffade, accompagné d'un excellent vin rouge Pic St Loup, très bien conseillé pour le serveur. En dessert un très bon tiramisu pour clore ce bon repas pour un total de 63€, ce qui est raisonnable pour la qualité des produits servis dans la bonne humeur avec cette très belle vue sur le lac

12/12/2024: Good but avoid weekday evenings: crowded and therefore more frequent errors on orders. Little extra for the new crockery, which gives an impression of more quantity.

11/12/2024: I will no longer eat at McDonald's, no more confidence, order mcplant veggie and inside 1 chicken nugget in the middle of the 19 veggie, many will say that it is not the end of the world when reading me but believe me for a lifelong vegetarian is unacceptable and traumatic; fortunately I realized this before!!!! Check your orders carefully because it wasn't the shot; it was 3:30 p.m. and 3 customers in the room……

18/09/2024: Unpleasant welcome by young waitresses who already seem worn out by their profession. The impression of disturbing these two young people who mix things up every day. Filthy toilet. A reflection of the establishment and the staff.

13/12/2024: Worst experience of our life, the waitress forced us to pay for 2 beers without us wanting to. The waitress is unpleasant and speaks badly to us while feeling superior. Threatens to call the boss and looks down on us. Don't come, I advise you to run!!!

14/12/2024: Takeaway order 8:15 p.m., 8:40 p.m. finally ready👎. Food on the floor in the kitchens, not phew.

22/11/2024: Unacceptable! Arriving on a Friday evening at 10:30 p.m. we were kicked out in a completely unpleasant manner. Even though it is supposed to close at 12 a.m.! Beyond the questionable hygiene, the reception is a disaster.

05/12/2024: On this Wednesday, December 4, I was given the chance to nourish myself with a pizza produced by Tino. Such was my terrible disappointment to see that the pizzas were so lightly topped with meat that a vegetarian would have eaten them without complaint. Also, the salmon tasted like soap. This therefore reflects a low quality top quality filling, in order to reduce prices. Not to mention the Auvergne without potatoes. Did we order a Breton? Let's not forget the hairs found on the pizzas (see photo), does the owner allow himself personal maintenance during work? One wonders if the owner is really Italian as he claims, could he not be an impostor? To finish, these pizzas were edible but the price of 12-13€ is absolutely not worth the lack of toppings.

30/09/2024: I came at noon on my meal break. I discovered the restaurant completely by chance and yet I work right next door. Very good surprise, there were three of us. We ate really well, very quickly. The welcome is very friendly, the homemade dishes are very generous. I really enjoyed eating in this restaurant.

17/07/2024: Little surprise at the end of the order: pastrami meat for €2 more! Seller's response: "but it's written in front" written in very small letters and no one reads ;) especially since before that wasn't the case.

13/09/2024: What a beautiful establishment. Local cuisine, a competent team and an atypical setting. If you are looking for a setting in picturesque Auvergne, this is it!

27/09/2024: I've been coming for years but yesterday I was disappointed. The fries in all 4 packages were overcooked. Really not phew. And there was a 280 missing from my order bag...and I'm not talking about the difficulty of trying to make a claim...

30/08/2024: The employees who take their break on the terrace smoking their cigarettes, with the children's games nearby it's not normal we may be outside, but still within the confines of the restaurant, and quite frankly the smell of cigarettes are very annoying for a non-smoker. Sincerely

07/08/2024: I came this afternoon for a meal with friends. I am very disappointed with my meal: the rice for the risotto was not sufficiently cooked, and the tiramisu was only egg whites whipped with chocolate shavings (I still wonder where the other ingredients like the coffee went ). I had already come to eat more than a year and a half ago and the meal served to us was excellent. What happened ? On the other hand, I emphasize the kindness and attentiveness of the waiters and the owner who listened to my criticisms and who made a commercial gesture to me.

When we think that at McDonald's, we would have eaten less fat, there is a big problem. There are many good restaurants in Ambert, but not this one.
