27/06/2026: [Ordered via Uber Eats] Delivery was rather slow, initially scheduled for 8:40 PM, then 9:00 PM, then 9:20 PM… The price is quite reasonable, but don't expect amazing sushi. They're good, but nothing special; I personally found the rice too mushy. The seaweed salad, however, is fantastic. I tried it, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

21/07/2026: The person who prepared the orders was very friendly when taking our order. However, we had ordered a small kebab tray, but it wasn't in the bag. Furthermore, the meat in the maxi tacos and the galette meal was spoiled.

The joy of an employee who loves his job and who, despite the high volume of customers, has meticulously and consistently carried out his duties without ever complaining. From fries to McNuggets to caramel-topped ice cream, this versatile young employee has always demonstrated his professionalism in handling the tasks assigned to him. We will gladly return to this wonderful establishment. Have a good evening.

26/08/2026: Very disappointed. The staff were very bitter and unpleasant. I don't recommend it. Go to the McDonald's in Beynost instead; their employee Loubna is very pleasant, beautiful, and kind.

31/08/2026: Very disappointed with the flank steak. I ordered it rare, and it arrived very blue, which wouldn't have bothered me in itself. Unfortunately, the meat was so tough that it was practically impossible to cut and inedible. I was also served the very end of the steak, a part that should have been trimmed rather than served. I wasn't necessarily expecting excellent value for money in a hotel restaurant, but at least decent quality. It's all the more disappointing because the photos in other Google reviews are very appetizing: my dish was clearly below that standard. On the plus side: the service was efficient and friendly.

08/06/2026: We dined at L'Épicerie with high expectations, especially given the cheese-focused concept, but we left very disappointed. The welcome was pleasant, and we were seated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. I chose a €40 goat cheese platter, one of the restaurant's featured specialties. Before ordering, I asked for information about the cheeses on offer. The first server, who had just arrived, couldn't help me, which is understandable. Another server then took over and asked the chef, but she ultimately couldn't provide any further details. So, I enjoyed my platter without any introduction or explanation of the cheeses, which is particularly disappointing for a restaurant that emphasizes this experience. Regarding the cheese board itself, most of the cheeses were very strong, with little variety in flavor. The bread served seemed somewhat haphazard, in limited quantities, and I had to ask for more bread as well as the bottle of San Pellegrino I had ordered, which had been forgotten. My partner ordered marinated poultry. When he asked what the side dish was, the waitress told him it was risotto. He then added a portion of fries. However, when the dish arrived, there was no risotto, without any explanation or apology from the staff. Ultimately, despite a friendly welcome, the lack of product knowledge, the oversights in the dining room, the lack of explanation for a cheese board at this price, and the inconsistencies in the dishes served significantly detracted from our experience. A disappointment considering the prices charged and the advertised concept.

12/01/2026: A rustic restaurant with attentive service, but whose dishes remain simple and lack real originality. For lovers of refined gastronomy or new flavors, this is not the ideal place.

07/01/2026: Disappointed with the setting, but the homemade food and fresh ingredients were top-notch. However, a major disappointment: the heating broke down, so we had to eat in the bar area with fan heaters 🙄. We weren't informed of the problem. It's a shame, because the main dining room is really nice. We'll definitely go back.

24/06/2026: Very disappointed, I ordered the Lyonnaise salad and it was industrially prepared: the bacon was just fat, there were three dried-out frisée leaves and two cherry tomatoes.

04/06/2026: Disappointed. I ordered a club sandwich for €12.50 expecting quality, but the bread was dry and stale, and the salad was limp and clearly not fresh. I went there precisely to avoid the usual chains where the quality is often mediocre… At that price, it's really unacceptable. If the sandwiches were from the day before, they should at least warn customers. I won't be going back.

03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.

24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.

19/07/2026: It's a shame I didn't check the reviews before coming; it would have saved me this bad experience. Personally, I don't recommend it at all! We ordered a simple Margherita, but the pastry was really strange, almost inedible. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place clearly leaves much to be desired, which doesn't inspire confidence.

21/09/2026: I loved going to this McDonald's, it's friendly, the staff are pleasant, kind, smiling and very helpful, the food arrived in barely 5 minutes, piping hot and just right, and nothing was missing—one of the major problems with fast food restaurants. I recommend this McDonald's!

24/08/2026: To anyone who sees and takes the time to read this review: avoid this bar. We stopped for five minutes to get out of the rain. My pregnant partner, feeling cold, politely asked the owner if we could stay inside for a few minutes while waiting for our Uber. The man, very unpleasant, pressured us to buy drinks. Fine, I asked for a coffee, he refused, so we left. As we were leaving, my partner was hit with a table by the waitress who was clearing them. No apology, of course, just a cold, angry look. We stayed for five minutes, and that was enough to understand that this bar is just awful. Thanks for your time.

12/09/2026: We had a similar experience at a restaurant in Lyon, France. The food was a complete disaster. The beef tartare was a watery, tasteless, mushy mess, and it cost almost €24. The service was incredibly unfriendly. The owner completely ignored our formal complaint. Despite this, the tartare was still listed on the bill at full price. Avoid this place at all costs!

12/09/2026: It's rare that I leave such a bad review for a restaurant, but I regret to say that nothing is right here. Avoid it! The restaurant was recently bought out two weeks ago, so I didn't have a chance to try it before, but now it's just not good. The service is incredibly slow, with mistakes in the orders and requiring you to repeat what you've ordered. The food is cafeteria-level, nothing like a traditional Lyonnais restaurant, except for the price, which is unfortunately quite high considering the poor quality. The poached egg in red wine sauce was barely hot, the goat cheese and honey salad was basic, and the steak was undercooked with industrial fries. Even the desserts are mass-produced! I get the same floating island dessert at my local cafeteria... No praline desserts. And the menu has changed, so be careful! Oh, and to top it all off, the toilets are disgusting and the floor is terrible. In short, a real tourist trap par excellence. Avoid it.
