11/04/2026: Extremely disappointed with my experience at Mabrouk. The only positive point: the sunny terrace. As for the service, we received a terrible welcome from the waiter: bad mood, which can happen, but also rude remarks when we asked for an alternative to a dish due to an intolerance. I asked to remove two items from my dish, the only one I could eat on the menu, and I was told I was a difficult customer. I asked for more vegetables to compensate for the removal of the couscous and potatoes. The result was an almost empty plate. The other waitress literally said, "Who's getting the salad with nothing on it?" 😅 Great, my request hadn't been taken into account. Then, a pregnant woman at our table asked for the mayonnaise to be removed, which, I should point out, wasn't listed on the menu, because she simply can't eat it. The waiter, the same one, grumbled and said it wasn't possible. Luckily, a younger waiter arrived and took our plates, removing the mayonnaise and adding some vegetables. Flavor-wise, it was quite heavy, even for salads, and not very good. Especially for the price. I definitely don't recommend this place.

08/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This is my second time here, and I love the atmosphere. I actually came back specifically to enjoy the outdoor space, which is really lovely, especially when you're in Paris. They serve delicious, typical Tunisian dishes, bursting with flavor. I especially loved the brik pastries and the snacks!

20/05/2026: The pizza was good, but the mozzarella sticks arrived empty, the garlic bread was dry, and the chocolate doughnuts were clearly fried and refried to give the illusion that they were fresh.

27/07/2026: I've rarely seen a worse restaurant. The bread is cold, the fries are soggy, the sandwiches are missing sauce, you ask for a sandwich without pickles and it says "no pickles" but they're still in there, and the disposable tableware is simply disgusting. Stick your napkin inside the glass...it comes out completely black.

21/07/2026: Very dirty: sticky table, bad smell, unwashed dishes (I couldn't even drink my glass of water), and cold fries.

17/07/2026: Horrible experience. Ticket issued at 10:20 PM, service at 10:40 PM, even though there was practically no one there when we ordered. At least five people who arrived later were served before us? We asked for table service, and they gave us takeaway bags... We tried to go upstairs to sit down, but were rudely told "it's closed" even though there was no sign indicating that it was. We finally found a rather dirty table on the ground floor; five minutes after starting our "meal," we were told they were closing and we had to leave... The burgers were cold, the sundaes half-melted. The Big Mac had a hard bun on one side. The portion of fries was ridiculously small. The only positive point was the number of sauces; the employee clearly grabbed a large handful at random from his container before throwing it into our bags. To top it all off, it's overpriced for what it is. And people come begging you for money at your table. Anyway, there's the Burger King right below, much better quality, quantity, cleanliness, and service. It had been a long time since I'd been to McDonald's, and that was the last time; I won't be going back. It was awful.

25/06/2026: I'm only commenting on the nightclub part. Free entry, but the service was a complete disaster. I sat down at a table less than 30 minutes later and was asked to buy something or leave my chair. For your information, there weren't even 20 of us inside. Not a single drink was under €5. How much does a 33cl beer cost, and the same for a soft drink? In short, despite the DJ's efforts to create a lively atmosphere, the service was terrible. Furthermore, many of my friends from Mayotte, all full-time civil servants, were systematically refused entry. Is this racial profiling? I thought clubs reserved for white people were a thing of the past...

24/05/2026: Disrespectful bouncer, racial profiling, and a disrespectful manager. The bartender tried to charge us for drinks we didn't order. In short, don't go there.

14/07/2026: I bought some flans for €4.10 a slice, rather expensive for the quality; it wasn't great. The pastry wasn't very good, but the filling was tasty.

06/06/2026: I really like this bakery, even though it's a bit of a walk. I always try to go to this one rather than others because I find the quality of the products better, especially the savory items. The hot snacks melt in your mouth. If I had to give just one small criticism, it's that I used to get hot snacks with milder cheeses, but now almost all the hot savory options contain strong cheeses, which are impossible for me to eat. It's a shame they don't offer one or two options for the "tartine des canuts" (a type of open-faced sandwich) with simple Gruyère or Comté cheese. I'm not taking away a star because these are just my personal preferences, and the products are otherwise excellent.

10/04/2026: What a disappointment! I ordered butifara sandwiches, empanadas, and ceviche to take away… €70. We had to throw the sandwiches away: the pork wasn't cooked and there was more fat than meat. The empanadas were too sweet and had peas in them. Only the ceviche was good. It's worth noting that we know Peruvian cuisine very well, and it's usually excellent, as we are Franco-Peruvian. You're better off going to Barraceviche (6th arrondissement) or Mochica Café (3rd arrondissement): cheaper and much better.

07/03/2026: The menu was extremely limited, and of the three courses, none were acceptable: the octopus was tough, the ceviche was too salty and overly spicy, and the portions were tiny, leaving us hungry. No bread was available. Overall, it was overpriced for such a meager meal. We went to another restaurant on our way out. If this is a preview of their fine-dining restaurant, it's going to be amazing!

25/05/2026: The pain au chocolat is mass-produced at €1.70 and the espresso is quite expensive at €2.20. At that price, I would have at least appreciated not having to serve myself: bringing my own coffee and clearing the table.

12/04/2026: We went in just for a coffee. The price was outrageous considering I ordered at the counter, brought the coffee to the table without a saucer, and then had to return the cups in their crate of dirty dishes. Avoid this place; it's no longer the Croix-Rousse spirit.

16/04/2026: While in Lyon, I went to this restaurant. We were there as a family and ordered three main courses and a children's menu! The "mixed grill" was actually a meatball cooked in sauce. A tiny cutlet. A mini undercooked chicken skewer and an undercooked merguez sausage—that's the famous "mixed grill." The veal chop was a joke; I think it was sliced ​​three times thin. It was all served with a small handful of cold fries, a minuscule handful of salad with a slice of tomato and an olive. The sea bream was undercooked. The children's menu arrived after we had finished our meals: a handful of fries thrown onto a plate with five nuggets thrown on top. The presentation was completely unprofessional, especially considering this used to be a kebab shop and now only serves food. For an à la carte restaurant, I think they're taking the mickey! €72.60—what a waste! You might as well go to McDonald's or get a kebab.

13/04/2026: What can I say… A disgrace to North African cuisine, shame on you for serving such expensive and disgusting dishes. I much prefer going to Mess, which truly respects the traditions and dishes of our countries. I have never been so disappointed by such a bland chorba, and as for the rest of the dishes, no comment. Avoid at all costs.

07/07/2026: Hello Unable to reach a manager by phone or in person, I have no choice but to share my experience here, hoping the manager will see the behavior of their staff! I called a few times to ask if there were any pastries left over from the previous day, and it was always the same young woman who answered the phone, telling me no, at any time of day or night! Today was the same, so I took the time to go and see for myself because I sensed something was off, and once there, I found plenty of leftovers! I asked the cashier why I was being told no when there were so many left, and he told me it wasn't him and that it wasn't his responsibility (indeed, it was a young woman with glasses), even though that wasn't the answer I was expecting! I asked to speak to a manager because I find this unacceptable! I was told no, I couldn't speak to the manager, and that's not normal either. I will continue to go there until I find the manager, but in the meantime, I'm leaving this comment so that your sales staff's attitude is reviewed.
