26/09/2024: For the first time at Olivier the Master of the place we were not disappointed and for good reason everything was perfect the extremely warm welcome from Marie, the intimate decor is baroque specific to (Bouchons Lyonnais) and of course the "food" from La Meunière to bang their ass on the counter 😂 The Meurettes eggs, the chanterelle ravioli, the grilled teats, the grilled andouillette, and the famous Veal's Head revisited by Olivier 👍 a killer never tasted in this way with smoked bacon is excellent and very tasty. “My mom, whose 91st birthday was, enjoyed this TDV.” The list might not end because we want to eat everything, but we will come back to continue discovering the Meunière menu. Well done Olivier and Annick, keep it up with your team, you are the Best Bouchon in Lyon. 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

14/09/2024: Nous avions réservé une table pour 8 personnes 13h30: le site précisait que la table n’était réservée que durant 15 mn.
Personnel débordé, au bout de plus d 1h d attente nous apprenons qu’environ 1h supplementaire serait encore nécessaire pour commencer à manger.Resultat: nous partons le ventre vide à la recherche d’un nouveau restaurant démarche compliquée un Dimanche.
Le resto semble habitué à ce désagrément au vu des avis.Dommage nos amis on eu une journée lyonnaise perturbée
14/09/2024: Reservation pour 19h45,nous avons payer 190 euros pour 4 , 3 coktails une biere , une planche à 25 euros , 4 plats(et c'etait froid) , 3 desserts , 2 cafés et la le serveur vient à notre table au bout de 1h10 demande si il peut nous debarasser et nous demandes de partir car il attends du monde et plus de place pour les acceuillir , je trouve ça un peu deplacer , je deconseille ce restaurant .....

09/12/2025: We came to celebrate my father-in-law's 90th birthday, on a recommendation. What a wonderful surprise! A warm and inviting room available all day, perfect organization from the first contact until our guests' departure, a delicious menu made with homemade and garden-grown produce, and unbeatable value for money. A thousand thanks to Sylvie and Alain for your welcome, your professionalism, your kindness, and your determination to make this moment unforgettable. It was truly a success on all levels. As for the gîte, we felt like we were in a cozy family home, surrounded by unspoiled nature. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

15/01/2025: Excellent. The best: A typical maracucho as head chef. A true friend, who talks to you and entertains you while he serves you, only one flaw: he is a fan of the Zulia eagles. The girl who waits on the tables tries her best to do her best. And the icing on the cake: the variety of Venezuelan food, arepas, tequeños, empanadas and in December he took us to our homeland with the traditional Christmas dish. Bravo. Merci beaucoup

The food is excellent, and you'll be served very kindly and given helpful advice on the dishes and how to eat them by a very friendly lady.

20/09/2024: We had dinner on August 22, 2024 in this Lyon restaurant, the day after its resumption after its summer closure. The experience did not live up to our expectations because we expected more from this promising restaurant, recommended by the Michelin guide.
The summer menu, obviously very light, was definitely a little “short” with a very limited choice of options. Several alternatives were also accompanied by supplements, including on wine. So much so that they became almost essential for an already limited choice. If the cuisine remains of high quality and the service impeccable, it is clear that the resumption of activity has been done at a minimum with basic offerings, which do not live up to the restaurant's pretensions. The room being already half full in the middle of the week, we are right to question the relevance of such a minimalist menu...
The restaurateur responded to this criticism with this argument: “We understand your remark regarding the limited choice of our menu. However, we would like to explain to you that this choice is deliberate and has been an integral part of our philosophy for 13 consecutive years now. Our objective has always been to favor quality over quantity, by offering a short menu but entirely composed of homemade dishes, from starters to desserts, even including our ice creams and sorbets. »
We maintain our criticism. By invoking the freshness of the products to justify his minimalist menu, the restaurateur avoids the question posed. When in such a short menu, there are so many extras, we increase the bill, quietly and seemingly nothing.
In fact, the bill came to 71 euros/person (wine included), an amount much higher than the basic menu displayed (45 euros). Moreover, the selection of wines recommended by the boss (45 euros) was curiously unavailable, and replaced by a much more expensive bottle (73 euros), a proposal that we obviously refused.
Since our first exchange, the restaurateur kindly pointed out to us that the prices are displayed on his website. However, he did not see fit to update his website this summer 2024 and in fact, it was his winter menu that was displayed at the time of our reservation. A regrettable omission. An oversight, without a doubt.
