05/01/2026: It's a shame that this bar/restaurant has the best view of the port because the service is deplorable, the manager is a prison guard, never friendly… I came 3 times to have a coffee on the terrace giving him "the benefit of the doubt" but I never got a smile or a hello 😂 This time was the last time, I recommend the café next door!
08/12/2025: The waitress on duty that morning was disgruntled and disrespectful because she didn't have change for 20 euros and tried to get all high and mighty! Talk about driving customers away! Maybe she has a libido problem? And then again, given her size!
I don't recommend this establishment because, judging by the reviews, this kind of behavior is commonplace.

10/03/2026: We can't give less than one star, which is a real shame because it's already too much! What a disgrace to have such a dream location and such mediocre service. As for the food, let's not even go there—it's simply awful. In short, keep walking; McDonald's is 30 seconds away, and without a doubt, the food and service will be better!

18/02/2026: A HYER RESIDENT'S REVIEW
It had been years since I'd stopped by the old BDS (the sports bar back then 🙃). And, being from Hyères, I don't usually read bar reviews. Well, from today on, I can tell you, thank goodness for social media.
I'll never again stop for a coffee in a bar where I haven't read the reviews.
As soon as I sat down, a waitress (maybe the owner) started making a constant racket with chairs, rearranging them, and approached the customers to say: "Two coffees? Is that right? You see, I'm a fortune teller... One coffee? That's right, you see, I knew it..." This woman would then throw at each customer: "So, one coffee is that right??" The nerve!
Seriously, where am I? In a bar, at 10 a.m., what does she want?
People come in and order two whiskey and cokes??
These people absolutely don't deserve to work. It's obvious I'll never set foot in that establishment again, and I'll be posting all about it on social media.
PS: FYI, the coffee costs 2 euros.
27/12/2025: At what point do you start charging more for a coffee because supposedly: "nobody drinks coffee at lunchtime so it's €2 extra"? It's unacceptable to have a bar with this mentality in late 2025/early 2026. Needs to be reviewed.

31/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! The waitress is unfriendly, cooks crepes and waffles without gloves while taking payments, has no hygiene whatsoever, and is completely chaotic in its handling of customers. Where's the queue? She's serving ice cream, we're waiting, and then suddenly decides to move to the other side, leaving us waiting. It's incoherent. I used to come regularly, summer and winter, but never again!
30/12/2025: We used to come here often, but when intelligence and organization are lacking, it's unfortunately over. Two queues, one server for each queue. One ice cream, one waffle. I'm waiting in the ice cream queue. When it gets to me, the ice cream server helps the waffle server and then turns to me to say, after I've already waited 10 minutes for the queue, "But it's on the side." I reply, "But you've served everyone in front of me except me, and I'm last? Being pregnant on top of that, it's just outrageous!" At some point, you have to think things through and organize yourself. Unbelievable! 😂

26/11/2025: This restaurant was mediocre at best; the mussels weren't fresh and didn't go down well at all.
(We left just a short walk from the restaurant.)
28/10/2025: Take-out pizzas at the same price as pizzas eaten in.
The pizzas were average quality...
The DJ was beyond awful. He had the nerve to yell at our young children who had signed up for karaoke while waiting for their pizzas to be ready! All we did was ask him if their turn was coming soon! The DJ's response, yelling at the 6- to 11-year-olds, was, "No, you can't do that, you're not seated yet!" even though he knew this from the start and was the one who gave them hope of participating!
A word of advice: If you can't talk to innocent young children, I don't see how you can welcome adults with a smile! Especially since it's thanks to the customers that you get paid. I can only unfortunately confirm the other negative reviews on Google.

02/01/2026: One star is far too much for this little bar where no one is respected. Being pregnant... they smoke inside at the bar, openly in front of us and our 15-year-old son. Unbelievable. And this right in front of the waitress who condones it. Isn't there a law? Or are they only for others? In any case, this is not the kind of bar/restaurant that shines with seriousness and professionalism. Avoid at all costs.
26/10/2025: A lovely evening with generous pizzas. Hearty desserts and a pleasantly surprising selection of wines by the glass. All served in a good mood and with attention by Lou and her mother. An address that we rediscovered with pleasure.

My best friend and I came for a Latin night this Thursday night.
Exceptional welcome, impeccable service.
Very good atmosphere. A little quiet, but considering the damage they suffered after the violent storms in May, they deserve our full support!
We had a charcuterie and cheese platter with sangria. Delicious!
I highly recommend it!
16/08/2025: The service is catastrophic, with unqualified staff.
A place with a lot of potential, but the price is excessive for the quantity on the plate (two-thirds of the plate was empty), and the fries are extra (€5 for a small portion).

12/09/2025: I went to this brasserie because the station restrooms were closed and I was in an emergency situation. I politely asked if it was possible to use the restrooms, to which I was told, in a very cold tone, that they were reserved for customers and that I had to consume. So I offered to have a muffin to comply with the rule.
I was then told that the restrooms would be blocked for 5 minutes. I agreed to wait, but I ultimately noticed that the manager was taking his time putting away umbrellas and cleaning up, while there were still customers seated. This gave me the feeling that they were mainly trying to discourage me rather than actually enforcing a rule.
I fully understand that an establishment reserves its restrooms for its customers, but it is also possible to express this with a minimum of kindness and consideration, especially when a customer is making the effort to consume. The attitude adopted in this situation was neither welcoming nor professional.
06/09/2025: Breakfast for €6.90! Hot drink, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, toast with butter and jam! TOP!

21/02/2026: This review only concerns the restaurant, but we should have checked it on Google beforehand. On a Saturday at 2 PM, we wanted to eat, and when we were seated, the first problem was that we wanted tapas and weren't on the right side of the terrace. No matter, we changed tables. The waitress gave us a frosty welcome, and it was only February—what will it be like in peak season? We ordered... and, interestingly, the receipts arrived before the meal. The food was very basic, and given the reception, we didn't order dessert or coffee. Oh, I almost forgot, this side of the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards! Checks or cash preferred. Hard to understand, or rather, I understand perfectly why 😉. So, I strongly advise against going there; instead, head to the backstreets of Bormes-les-Mimosas; there are plenty of very nice little restaurants.
15/02/2026: Bring cash, credit cards are not accepted. Long live the black market!
