26/11/2024: A true culinary gem by the water What a great discovery the Bistrot du Port de Vallauris is! Coming alone one lunchtime, I was amazed by the chef's art of enhancing fish with combinations of flavors that were both bold and harmonious. Who would have thought that cocoa and squid ink could create such alchemy? Every bite was a revelation. The decoration, sober and elegant, pays homage to the marine world without ever falling into cliché. I was also charmed by the tableware, unique and refined, which highlights each dish with a touch of sophistication. I opted for the discovery menu, copious but very refined. Each plate was a painting, generous but never heavy, a perfect balance that left me satisfied and enchanted. I'm already looking forward to going back before the end of the year for their bouillabaisse, a specialty here that seems to restore this dish to its former glory. However, I am saddened to know that this gem will soon close... What a shame to lose such a gastronomic setting. If you have the opportunity to go, go for it without hesitation! An unforgettable culinary experience worth living.

08/12/2024: Very good time spent in this restaurant. We were served by Romain, who gave very good advice and always had a laugh. A great atmosphere! As for the cuisine, it’s fresh, very good and very well done. The whole team is great, I recommend and we will come back more often.

06/01/2025: A big disappointment for 70€. I just found the little chicken ballottine (small) and the chocolate and peanut dessert great. But for this price it's not worth it. A single cheese appetizer. No glass included. The bland and cold puree accompaniment. The poor slice of bread with the foie gras, nothing more. The minimal quantities we had to stuff ourselves with bread. The presentation no present for such a day (New Year's Eve)... Dessert was taken away from me while I was making a phone call outside and we were very far from closing. DJ atmosphere 0 for this famous 31, just music playing, the transitions were not worked.

18/08/2024: Very nice discovery of this place where you feel good from the moment you enter. Beautiful decoration, warm welcome from the owner, beautiful glass cellar that we see under our feet. Refined homemade dishes using fresh seasonal produce. Invited by a gourmet friend who is a loyal fan of the place, I will return with pleasure when I come to the Paris region.

26/06/2025: I would get why you would walk past this place without giving it a thought. However, the food en service are superb. The waiter was extremely nice, was fast with his service and was generous with the wine. The wine they served was delicious and reasonably priced. The food was amazing.p We had duck with an amazing honey sauce and a pizza of which de dough was home made (so we thought) and very special. This is by no means a restaurant for fine dining, but if you want a delicious meal and good service, i would recommend it to everyone.

20/09/2024: Very authentic Taiwanese steamed buns and salty crispy chicken. Very delicious. The store clerk is also very friendly. I feel so touched to be able to eat such amazing Taiwan food in Nice. I highly recommend it.

19/09/2024: It’s delicious. I’ve eaten too much French and Italian food, and suddenly I taste the taste of home. I love it. Based on traditional flavors, they further added sweet and sour taste (passion fruit, lemon peel, etc.) to make it less greasy, and also alleviated the greasy feeling of French and Italian meals for a week.

21/11/2024: J'ai organisé mon mariage au Relais Impérial et je peux vous dire que tout était parfait. Nous avons tous bien mangé autant en qualité qu'en quantité et ça de l'apéritif au dessert. Les serveurs ont bien gérer tous le service je n'ai absolument rien à redire. Nous avons aussi réservé pratiquement tout l'hôtel, les chambres sont spacieuse et la literie est très confortable. Je recommande, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

24/09/2024: We came here on a weekday at 1pm after reading the good reviews - we actually ran here because we had no reservations and we were afraid it will be full (We were already turned away by a few places). When we arrived, we saw the place was empty. We should have taken this as a clue and just turn around to leave but we were too nice and decided to sit down. The food was... well I will let you look at the photo and decide. We remained the only diners there until the end. 4 tourists walked in, who spoke the same language as us. I saw them looking at their phone and saying "yes this is the place". Poor folks must have been misled by the good reviews as well. A part of me wanted to tell them to leave but they say that misery loves company. To make up for this, I am compelled to leave this review despite knowing I will be getting a death threat from the owner.

20/09/2024: Updated 09/24 OMG, cold ramen!!! A logical (and yeah, that's what you should order at 40° - duh) and gustatory (absolute delight) revelation. Since then, I've only had one idea in mind: to go back and order several portions, just for me. --- 2023 Homemade ramen, delicate broth, beautiful Japanese dishes. Simplicity but also a warm and smiling welcome. There's a bit of a wait, it's true, but I really liked this place. Staff attentive to food allergies.
