It would be really important to think about ventilating the place better. Additionally, after the meal, I had stomach aches, and the food seemed not to be fresh, as if it was from the day before. The welcome is warm, and the cuisine is prepared with care by a passionate chef. The prices are more than reasonable given the quality of the work and the (fresh) products. The chef has come into the restaurant to see if everything is ok, he will speak to the customer as if they were regulars of the place. 04/09/2024: The hotel manager recommended this pizzeria to me but I am disappointed, bland pizza without wow. The dough is good but the filling is not sublime, a Ricard €5 🤬 it’s expensive. Small busy alley everyone looks at you I like to be quiet. It's up to you!

21/08/2024: Service is what I would have expected from a Michelin rated restaurant But the food was - how do I put this in a charitable way - experimental. And not in a good way. It seemed as though the chef was trying something different for difference’s sake giving no regard whatsoever to the actual taste of the food. Chefs should be free to experiment. But I’ve never felt more like a guinea pig and subjected to discombobulated and incoherent combination of flavors than I was at this restaurant. Everything was cooked impeccably. The presentation was beautiful. The bread, the vegetables, the fish and the meat were cooked absolutely well. The problem was - none of it tasted good. Isn’t that the point of good food? Bring joy and happiness? I have a feeling that the chef might look down on this review and tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about. But he doesn’t work in an experimental kitchen - he works at a Michelin rated restaurant where he needs to cater to a broad range of palates. And even though I think I have a dynamic appreciation of food, I also think that I possess a relatively discerning standard for what tastes good and what does not Without any doubt, Le Cap definitively fell into the not delicious category. When I studied music, I was told about some experiments where the composers wanted “liberate the dissonance” and avoid the tyranny of any repetition in sounds. So they created this piece where no harmony was found and nothing repeated. Even though such music was…interesting, it was absolutely horrid. It was not pleasing. It didn’t move me. I never wanted to listen to it again. And I didn’t. For the same reason, don’t think I will be returning anytime soon, which is a shame. This restaurant could be so much more.

21/11/2024: ADDRESS TO RECOMMEND! The cook is a real chef! Yesterday we enjoyed a homemade pot au feu: a real delight! The waitress is charming, the atmosphere is family and friendly. We will definitely go back!
