27/09/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering La Brouette restaurant, located in a charming family country house in Vence. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfectly in keeping with the rural setting. We had lunch in the garden, enjoying a remarkable view of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. This peaceful setting greatly contributed to the quality of the experience. The Danish-inspired cuisine was refined and delicious. The wood-fired trout was exceptional: perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, it is clearly a highlight of the menu. The owner was particularly attentive. His welcome was very kind, enhanced by a subtle and pleasant sense of humor that made the experience even more convivial. He was also aware of the criticisms in some reviews and clearly stated his intention to make the necessary improvements, which demonstrates a true sense of professionalism and service. I highly recommend La Brouette for an experience combining a rural setting, quality cuisine and a warm welcome.

24/09/2026: A total disappointment. We waited around 35 minutes for our food, without even being offered bread in the meantime. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. We ordered several different dishes and genuinely did not enjoy a single one — the risotto, fries, steak, lamb… everything was disappointing. My steak, ordered medium, arrived completely raw inside. It wasn’t a matter of one unsuccessful dish — the entire dinner was simply not good. The wines offered by the glass were equally disappointing. We tried several from the wine list and didn’t enjoy any of them, so eventually ordered a bottle, which was better. The atmosphere was another major issue. The restaurant was extremely crowded and incredibly loud. The tables are arranged so closely and with so little separation that it feels chaotic — almost like sitting in the middle of a busy market. We could barely hear each other across our own table. I completely understand that the restaurant was fully booked, but a full restaurant shouldn’t mean sacrificing comfort, atmosphere and quality. Unfortunately, for us this dinner was a total miss from beginning to end. Definitely not an experience we would want to repeat.

29/08/2026: We stopped by randomly and ended up having a wonderful dinner. The white wine was very good, and the Chef’s Salad was super tasty. The seafood mix was absolutely delicious, too. The service was very friendly and courteous. Thank you so much for such a lovely dining experience! 💖 Absolutely top! I highly recommend it. Definitely worth a visit.

08/10/2026: I used to really enjoy this restaurant, which I considered a true institution. Unfortunately, I now feel it's resting on its laurels. The food is still good, but the portions have noticeably shrunk. As for the service, you almost feel like you're bothering them if you want to linger a little longer, simply because you ordered dessert… And I'm not even mentioning the bill, which is particularly steep considering the quality of the food. It's a shame for a place that once had everything going for it. At these prices, you have the right to expect much better!

01/10/2026: The food was good; however, the service was quite disappointing. There seemed to be some favoritism at play, one guest clearly received special attention, with all the waiters fawning over him while other customers were left waiting. I ordered a coffee and a dessert, but neither ever made it to my table. In the end, I just asked for the bill, and even that request went unnoticed.

06/06/2026: My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood because it's ALWAYS delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and uses only fresh ingredients. Bravo Chef!!

05/06/2026: You absolutely must try this place! More people should discover this restaurant. It costs 30-40 RMB per person, but the quality of the food is comparable to restaurants that cost 50-60 RMB per person.

17/09/2026: Our first visit to le Siecle was on our honeymoon in 2023. We had such a good experience that we returned again last night and it did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. The comfort of the furniture, the lighting, and the temperature of the restaurant create a pleasant ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant!

12/10/2026: A place where having a drink and a bite to eat is a truly delightful experience. The welcome is warm, and special mention goes to the Corsican charcuterie and the octopus risotto. The only thing missing is a cheese plate... but it's planned for the menu soon... we'll be back to check it out :). We had a wonderful time; thank you to the team.
