04/05/2026: Worst excuse for a brasserie I’ve had the misfortune to walk into. Messy, loud, open to all sorts of sketchy characters. I was sent away by the barmaid (“go sit down, be with you in a minute”). 30 min. A half hour waiting at one of the booths while people (locals?) who came after got service. The barmaid eventually shows up…stale, indifferent, borderline hostile attitude. Takes my order and goes on forgetting about me for several more minutes, after which of course I walked out. If you’re like me and decide to give the local places a go, absolutely skip this joint. They already got their customers and could care less about any new ones.

16/05/2026: Everything is perfect. The rooms. The spa. The reception. The breakfast. The location. We spent a timeless moment in a bubble of comfort and well-being, hidden in a verdant setting.

14/05/2026: Never use The Originals Hotels' online booking system. Upon arrival, the reception staff informed us that there were two reservations under the same name for the same dates and room type. We did not make a second reservation and never received any email, text message, or notification from the hotel or The Originals Hotels platform regarding this alleged double booking. The concrete consequences of this error: our neighbor, who wanted to join us, was refused a room due to lack of availability, even though the system had registered a phantom reservation. Despite the obvious malfunction of the booking system (and not any error on our part), the hotel forced us to pay for the second reservation, which resulted solely from a technical failure of the platform and not from a double booking.

24/05/2026: A very welcoming place, very friendly staff, and the food is very good!

21/05/2026: Order placed by phone, ready on time. Three baos: one chicken, one beef, and one pork. The bun itself was excellent, however, the sauces for the fillings were nothing special. I was expecting extraordinary flavors, but to no avail. The chicken was mayonnaise with, I suppose, spices that added no flavor; the beef was bland; and the pork was the best, but it could have been better. A real shame.

21/06/2026: We had the citron tart and the fraise tart, and they were both outstanding. 🍋🍓🍰 Fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet—just the perfect dessert. The prices are very reasonable for pastries that look this beautiful and taste this good. I only wish I had spent more time in Nice so I could have sampled more of her creations. A wonderful pâtisserie that’s definitely worth a visit. ☺️👋

14/06/2026: Unfortunately, at 5 pm, the selection was limited, with only a few products left. I only got to try a chocolate éclair, which was well-filled and had a soft dough. Payment with American Express is fine!

17/05/2026: The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly warm. The host served us with so much care and affection, making us feel right at home. We were a group of eight and arrived at 10 PM, just minutes before closing, yet the staff was immensely welcoming and made sure to fulfill our entire order without rushing us. As tourists visiting Nice, this level of hospitality was deeply appreciated. Highly recommend!

15/06/2026: Nice service. Nice to sit in the open window facing the street. Nice rustic bistro environment but a bit "sports-y" with a big TV screen, maybe only because of the World Cup? The snails were good, but the entrecôte was tough and the pepoar sauce was a thick glob on top of the meat. Good fries. The pasta with salmon was boring and tasteless. The veal cutlet was ok but we wouldn't order it again. The price is too high for that food. We won't be back.

06/07/2025: The service is very pleasant and attentive. The food is excellent, and the chef is truly amazing! We have never been disappointed. The best restaurant in Valberg. Bravo to the whole team ☺️

19/06/2026: Very good. It's a shame you have to pay for the rice in addition to the main course; this practice in Asian restaurants is as unbearable as paying for your cutlery in Italy.

05/06/2026: The pizza was good but quite expensive. The glass of red wine was very basic, except for the price. €15 a glass. I should have checked the price and not trusted it.

05/06/2026: A huge disappointment at this pizzeria on Rue Bivouac Napoléon in Cannes. My pizza was just okay, nothing special. I asked to be seated on the terrace, but they preferred to seat other customers who arrived later. So I ate inside, right next to the oven. I left soaked. As for the service, there was no appetizer, unlike in many restaurants; the menu was a QR code on the waiter's phone, which was neither practical nor hygienic. So I didn't order dessert or a digestif under those circumstances. In short, an experience to forget for me. Come and try it for yourself.

01/07/2026: I've known this restaurant for a very long time; it's practically an institution in Juan-les-Pins. The food is good, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Plus, the place is pleasant, and it's one of the few restaurants that's open in winter too. Don't hesitate to go! 😊
