04/12/2025: The day finally arrived when we'd been searching for a restaurant that served a much-desired burger, and we stumbled upon none other than this curious little place. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly dachshund, which brought a smile to our faces. The second smile came a little later when they served us a massive burger with fries, where the star of the show was the American sauce… I'll let the picture speak for itself. Enjoy!

16/11/2025: Excellent restaurant! The quality of the food was truly outstanding; everything was delicious, absolutely fantastic. The service was a little slow, but it didn't spoil the experience. We'll gladly return!

29/12/2025: I've been ordering regularly for about two years now. The pizzas are always delicious, the telephone service and delivery service are top-notch (pizzas arrive still hot and are delivered quickly), one of the best pizzerias in Cannes!

15/01/2026: Kudos to the Chef, who serves excellent, high-quality, and satisfying dishes (the Rossini was superb, and the French toast was a welcome change from the usual tiramisu...). Bravo! The service is friendly, and they offer regional wines. The terrace boasts a magnificent view of Cannes and the Esterel mountains in every season. Reasonable prices. Bravo!

23/02/2026: As a customer since the opening, I have always been happy with the welcome and the overall service, except that on your birthday, you receive a message offering you a pie up to €12.90, only to end up being forced to buy an apple pie for €9.90 because the manager decided it's really taking the piss out of customers, it's a very unpleasant gesture, very disappointed.

16/02/2026: A small, informal restaurant in the old town of Vence. We opted for the €42 menu. Few dishes, but well-prepared and with good ingredients. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We drank excellent Provençal red wine. Congratulations.

22/02/2026: I ordered a rare rump steak skewer, but it arrived well-done with frozen fries. I didn't eat the meat, but the waiter didn't seem to care. I didn't have time to order again because I was working, but when a plate is taken away like that, he should at least ask if everything was alright. Well, I'll come back because it wasn't my day, but it's a shame.

20/02/2026: Excellent value for money, delicious and generous portions served in a lovely indoor and outdoor dining area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and dogs are welcome (they brought us a bowl of water as soon as we arrived). I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, dining here 5 or 6 times a year. I highly recommend it!

J'aime beaucoup le cadre, au milieu des chevaux, la cuisine est simple mais excellente, c'est familial, le patron est adorable et les prix ? je me demande comment ils font. Nous étions un Vendredi soir, il y avait donc un spectacle musical, j'habite à 10mn, aucun doute, j'y retournerai.

20/11/2025: A small, family-run restaurant with great food. The service is so professional, I haven't experienced that level in ages! The welcome is warm and friendly, and the team is energetic. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend Le Lavoir! 🥰

04/03/2026: I stoped by for a late lunch while walking the Prom. I had an excellent fish soup with all the accompaniments. It was nice that the kitchen was open at 15:00

01/03/2026: Fresh and excellent mussels marinière or chicken (my mother is from Brittany) with homemade fries, a crispy and delicious pizza accompanied by a kir and two pitchers of white wine, followed by a scoop of rum raisin ice cream and two coffees for €80, in a professional but pleasant atmosphere. The owner is friendly and well-liked by the two waitresses; you can feel it in the atmosphere. What's there to complain about? I was worried about it being a tourist trap, as mentioned above, but I'll definitely go back for my own enjoyment. Personally, I could have done without the pianist (too loud to have a conversation), but otherwise, don't change a thing, THANK YOU!!

04/02/2026: I ordered the most expensive pasta on the menu with octopus and calamari, and it was honestly unacceptable. The octopus was clearly undercooked and unpleasant to eat, which is shocking at this price point. Service was poor throughout the evening and did nothing to improve the experience. When I complained, the chef came over and suggested I could “just eat the rest if it tastes okay,” instead of actually addressing the problem. Expensive, careless, and deeply disappointing, definitely not worth it.

20/10/2025: The hotel is located in the small mountain village of Berre-les-Alpes, approximately 25 km and 35 km north of Nice and Monaco, respectively. All rooms meet the usual, good hotel standards and have free Wi-Fi. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. Dining and drinking are available both inside the restaurant and outside, directly in front of the hotel. The menu and drinks lists are extensive, and the food is very tasty. Two things are particularly worth mentioning: First, the very friendly, family atmosphere created by the owner, and second, the fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. My friends and I have been coming here for years and will continue to be very satisfied guests in the future.
