26/02/2026: My friends from La Populaire Sud and I are regulars at Le Garçon Boucher. The atmosphere is quite family-friendly, the sun is shining, and it's not too expensive for a restaurant on the French Riviera. The waiters are very friendly, and the food is excellent. I highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: Very disappointed, after booking the day before, seated inside next to the door which opens every time someone passes by, plus to top it off, there are constant drafts, I will not be coming back.

09/03/2026: Disappointment… after hearing so much about this restaurant, we went with friends. First of all, let's not even talk about the hygiene… bread being taken from tables and then served on another table, the bread stand is disgusting with pieces so dry you wonder how long they've been there. The silver cutlery had a small hole in the knife, and black liquid was leaking out… there are much better traditional restaurants in Nice for better value!

08/03/2026: The food is incredibly good, however, you might want to plan for a different seating than Saturday night, as the wait can be a deterrent.

28/02/2026: Excellent! We tried the raw steak tartare twice (with very picky people) and the ribs once; everything was perfect and homemade. I had seen a comment about the portions, and I guarantee they are ample; I even had to finish my plate. The atmosphere is different during the day and in the evening, so you should try both. The staff is incredibly attentive. Go without hesitation! From Doubs.

28/02/2026: We ate there last night, a group of four. The decor was lovely and the location magnificent, right by the sea. A bonus was the valet parking service, which saved us an hour of searching for a spot. The meal was, for me, quite ordinary, and as a big meat lover, I wasn't impressed by the presentation and especially the selection of meats. At the prices they charge, I think we should be able to choose our cut of meat, and even offer two choices of ribeye steak? Compared to other restaurants, there's definitely room for improvement. The evening was very pleasant and the service impeccable. But for a restaurant that advertises itself on its meat, I was disappointed.

01/02/2026: Epi Beach is a beautiful beachfront restaurant with a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. The location is outstanding, right on the beach, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal or cocktails while watching the sunset. The food is well-prepared and flavorful, with a menu that fits the Mediterranean setting. The cocktails are especially good and nicely presented. Service is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours.

06/01/2026: Good food almost cold and small portions, and be careful they ask you which sauce you want without telling you that it’s actually a supplement that’s worth 5€ more. And the waiter only argues that we are the ones who misunderstood what he said…

23/02/2026: I used to love this restaurant, but the food has changed. I didn't find the flavors I enjoyed. The dishes were different. The kitchen staff must have changed. What a shame.

17/02/2026: I would have liked to give 5 stars for the fabulous Pat Thai we enjoyed here, but unfortunately, we were also served a Som Tam (papaya salad)... without the papaya!! It's like ordering a latte and only getting milk. It's like asking for seafood pasta and only getting plain pasta. It's definitely nothing like the famous Thai salad. It would have been a good idea to also get lime with the dishes (typical of Thai dishes), but we were told they use lemon because lime is too expensive in France... but the dishes aren't cheap anyway, and in my opinion, the choice is unjustifiable. So: the Pat Thai and the chicken curry were good, but not the som tam, which wasn't really som tam. We definitely won't be returning.

07/03/2026: Super cute and pleasant place! We came as a group to work on our computers, and the manager kindly welcomed us by moving the tables to make more space for us, then provided warm and excellent service! We had teas, coffees, and hot chocolates, all of which were excellent! Plus, everything is homemade :) Thank you!

09/02/2026: Very disappointed for our first and last visit. We booked two days in advance for seven people. We arrived on the day at 7:30 pm (a Friday evening). We ordered five royal couscous dishes (chicken, kebabs, merguez sausage, lamb): one chicken couscous and one merguez couscous. The chicken couscous was OK. The merguez couscous was OK. The other five royal couscous dishes were a disaster. (The kebabs were OK, but the meat was served on an old-fashioned stainless steel platter, just skin and fat, no prime cuts, completely charred. The merguez sausage was a deep pinkish-burgundy...!!! And NO CHICKEN and NO MEAT, just scraps). After checking, we learned that there was no more chicken or meat. No mention of these shortages was made when we ordered. They certainly didn't charge us exorbitant prices (but what a disappointment when you're expecting a delicious couscous!). By 7:30 pm, the restaurant was already full and everyone had been served. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were served at 8:45 pm. Unfortunately, there were only leftovers. We didn't expect them to serve charred grilled meats. SO AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our reviews are available and demonstrate our objectivity. We don't hesitate to mark both excellent and terrible experiences.

08/09/2025: After a long journey, I arrived at this restaurant looking for a good pizza and left with much more. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to eat in La Turbie. The food, service, and ambiance are exceptional, but it is the host that I will always remember. Having nowhere to stay due to my frequent camping in the wilderness, I was very stressed. Seeing that I was in a difficult situation, the host went out of his way to help me and even offered me a spot to pitch my tent at his place. It is an act of kindness I will never forget, and I believe it is a testament not only to his talent, but also to the quality and pride he puts in his work. For this reason, I have recommended La Régence to my family and friends, and I hope that those who read this review will be convinced and leave with memories of the exceptional food and service that La Régence represents.
