08/01/2026: My wife and I have been here many times. When friends visit us in Nice, we ALWAYS bring them to Oliviera. One of our favorites dining experiences in all of France. (And we've spent move the 1,000 night in France) Always fresh ingredients, well used in delicious dishes. It's in the tourist area but the food is the way the Niçoise eat (if they are a good cook). No CC bring cash. And buy some olive oil.

01/01/2026: My husband and I seemingly walking into Oliviera in Nice while we were on vacation. We have walked randomly into resturants many times before but this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Sadly, I don't believe we will ever have experience food like this before. This happened almost 2 years ago! The food, the olive oil, the owner, the overall experience still sticks with us. I can't wait to go back one day with our daughter (who is only 1 years old right now).

08/05/2026: The wait was too long, and the salad had no onions; there were more onions than lettuce. Luckily, Aurore, the waitress who was at the bar, took care of us—a savior for them and for us, otherwise we'd still be there.

06/04/2026: We came to Vallauris for Easter weekend and wanted to stop by before leaving. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were just wonderful and always smiling! See you very soon when we return to Vallauris!

02/06/2026: At first, we thought we had to order at the bar, as is common in many places, and we did so out of courtesy because no one was serving us (anyone else would just get up and leave). Then we realized that everyone else's drinks were being brought to them except us. We felt judged, as if they saw we didn't have any money to spend 🤣 They served us with a look on their faces as if we were the cause of their problems… The girl serving us seemed to hate her job, which she clearly does, but that's not something the customer should have to feel. They heat the food on a griddle at the bar and charge €6-8 (it might seem like a small amount, but think about what you're getting). Anyway, don't go.

02/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ During our stay in Valbonne, we dined at La Pigeot. Without a doubt, it was one of the culinary highlights of our vacation. The welcome was warm, the service friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere relaxed and authentic. We chose the couscous méchoui. Everything was remarkable: the magnificent méchoui, the delicious Moroccan salad, and the couscous. But one element surpassed all the rest: the vegetables in the broth. We had never tasted anything so delicious. Without any exaggeration, it was the best broth we had ever tasted. Rich in flavor, perfectly balanced, refined, and exceptionally deep. A true masterpiece. You can feel in every detail that the cuisine is prepared with passion, expertise, and respect for quality ingredients. We will return with immense pleasure during our next stay in Valbonne. My personal favorite is the perfectly prepared orange tagine. The team is welcoming and attentive all year round. It's a reliable choice in any season 🤩

31/05/2026: A wonderful family lunch at Relais des Merveilles! Everyone was charmed by this authentic, warm, and characterful place. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish with a particularly successful Mother's Day menu. On the menu: a duo of asparagus with wild garlic, ballotine of chicken supreme stuffed with foie gras, homemade ravioli with a mushroom sauce (meltingly tender and absolutely delicious), a duo of cheeses from the Vésubie valley, and then a superb Pavlova with rhubarb marmalade to finish in style. Generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed cuisine, served with great kindness. All this on a magnificent sunny terrace offering a splendid view of the Vallée des Merveilles. A truly delightful and indulgent experience in an exceptional setting. An address we recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: Hello, it's a shame there have been so many changes since last year. We came for lunch this Sunday and were very disappointed! The service was completely disorganized, with very long waits between courses despite our requests! We ordered set menus, and the cod brandade was very average, with no fishy taste at all! I hope it's just the beginning of the season and that things will improve!

22/05/2026: A fantastic experience at Bistrot du Port! It's always a great pleasure to eat here. The chef manages to surprise us every time with excellent cuisine. For this visit, we tried the "carte blanche" menu, letting ourselves be guided by his inspirations, and it was a complete success: we enjoyed every bite from start to finish. Never disappointed, we highly recommend this restaurant in Golfe-Juan!
