07/02/2026: I'm still absolutely thrilled about my visit! The highlight was without a doubt the owner (or rather, the lady at the cash register): I've never experienced such incredible warmth in my life. You immediately feel welcome and like a valued guest among friends. The atmosphere in the restaurant is simply wonderful and invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. And most importantly: the food was fantastic! Everything was incredibly delicious and tasted absolutely authentic – you can tell that the food is cooked with passion. A heartfelt recommendation for everyone in Nice!

12/12/2025: La Barque Bleue offered a very pleasant dining experience. We had the moules marinières with fries, which were excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cheese platter was fully acceptable and complemented the meal well. Overall a cozy spot with good food and a visit worth repeating.

09/12/2025: A highly recommended fish restaurant right in the port of Nice. Mariele served us; the staff was incredibly friendly. The wine, moules frites (mussels), loup entier (sea bass), rigatoni saumoni (pasta with salmon), and the tarte tatin (apple tart) for dessert were all superb!

11/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious food and wine away from the tourist hot spots. Easily accessible by the 57 bus and booking is recommended as it gets busy. Everything is home made and daily menu is on the blackboard. Very good value.

11/02/2026: I was just passing through Nice. I went to eat there twice in the evening. The food is top-notch, with fresh ingredients and excellent quality. The atmosphere is cozy and personalized thanks to the waitress. She has a kind word for every customer and attends to their needs without any waiting. Traveling solo, it's a real treat to eat there, and I would definitely go back on my next trip to Nice. A small detail: the same people who were there on my first visit were also there on my second, which speaks volumes about the quality and professionalism of this establishment. The prices are in line with the region, but the quality is superior.

23/02/2026: Lunch menu. Very warm welcome. The starters and desserts were superb, no complaints. However, the lamb shoulder cooked navarin-style was a bit small compared to the side dish, even if it was basmati rice. It's not the most expensive cut of lamb. To accompany this dish, I ordered the oldest vintage of red wine in Bordeaux, the Dame de Mont Rose 2011, which is the second wine of this grand cru. The bottle was presented to me, very nice. Fifteen minutes later, they wanted me to taste the wine while I was enjoying champagne and foie gras. Needs improvement. Furthermore, the wine was served straight from the bottle into glasses without decanting to remove the natural sediment. It should have been decanted, as with all older vintages. Even though La Rotonde is the Negresco's second restaurant, it doesn't live up to its reputation.

23/02/2026: The dining room is modern yet stunning, the staff attentive and friendly, the cuisine delicious and refined, and the service impeccable. And to top it all off, the prices are reasonable! You don't always find such excellent service in more expensive establishments. We'll definitely be back! Especially since the place is magical. Be sure to take a few minutes to admire the artwork in the hotel lobby before you leave!

13/02/2026: Ordered two pizzas last night; the phone contact was very good. However, the pizza was definitely not 33cm in diameter. The one I received was about 26cm at most. You might think it's not a big difference, but the surface area lost between a 33cm pizza and a 26cm one is about 37.9%. Yet we're still paying full price for a smaller volume. You have to choose between making pizzas the correct size (33cm as stated on the flyer and website) or reducing your prices by about 37.9%.

26/01/2026: Very disappointed with the pizzas, especially the chicken one, it lacked generosity and flavor... what a shame!

15/01/2026: The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and the value for money was excellent! I highly recommend it.

04/01/2026: Nice gem in Cannes. Food was exceptional. I normally isn't a huge fan for mussels but it was really good here. Service was fine. We felt welcomed and the place wasn't crowded during lunch.

08/12/2025: Efficient and quick service. The dish (chicken curry stir-fry) was served piping hot, and there was no wait, which was much appreciated. The presentation of the brownie (more of a soft cake, actually) could be improved. Minimalist decor. The chef cooks right in front of you in the open kitchen. It's a bit noisy because it's small, but honestly, a convenient and friendly place. Small sidewalk terrace.

05/02/2026: We ordered pizza here for the first time. Well, I'll definitely be back. The pizzas are as good as they are in Italy; in fact, they're all Italian and know their craft well. While we were waiting, we saw some wonderful dishes pass by, so we'll be back one evening to try other dishes. The atmosphere is very welcoming.

07/03/2026: The food is excellent and the service is good. I'm less keen on the noise (at lunchtime, as I haven't tried it in the evening). The owner is very fast-paced but attentive, as are his staff. It just needs a less stressful and less noisy atmosphere to be perfect. I just tried the restaurant in the evening and it's a completely different atmosphere. I now recommend it, but only in the evening.
