too bad, the service is still as friendly and smiling apart from a few hiccups which I attribute to the end of the season..... zn u was quite disappointed compared to the establishment I knew before....

The service is warm, smiling and efficient even during large services.
The cuisine is excellent, fresh, seasonal and original. Special mention to the fresh local goat cheesecake and the homemade smoked trout risotto, the best in the region!!
We have been here several times already and we have been delighted each time.
Thank you to the entire team for their work and passion.

12/09/2024: Nice place to sit and have a drink. Sat for both an afternoon and an evening. Also have a nice drink here in the afternoon. In the evening the service was a bit less. The male server was mainly busy with other things such as hitting on women instead of helping people on the terrace

14/08/2024: En cette canicule, déjeuner dans le restaurant climatisé fut un luxe. Accueil professionnel, service professionnel. Une coupelle de tapenade et des gressins accompagnaient mon verre de vin. Le chef avait préparé du tagliata di manzo, plat italien que j'ai découvert, juste ce qu'il fallait par cette chaleur, avec une salade de fruits frais au dessert. Un repas apprécié !
03/08/2024: Dans une partie des jardins de la Villa, un cadre calme, détendant et bénéficiant de la fraicheur des arbres et des plantes. Nous y étions pendant une période de canicule (30-32 degrés Celsius) et nous ne ressentions pas la température. Par ailleurs, la cuisine est très bonne avec un choix limité mais suffisant. Les salades sont très bonnes avec une originalité quant aux arômes ; il en est de même pour les sorbets. Mon regret est de n'avoir pas goûté aux tartes que j'ai vu en sortant et qui devaient être excellentes au regard du reste de la cuisine. Le service est professionnel. Le rapport qualité-prix est très correct. Nous avons eu la chance de profiter du jardin car la salle intérieure semble être bruyante.

07/09/2024: When we arrived the staff was initially defensive, which could have been the first clue. The second was delivered by dirty tables that had not been wiped down. Two dishes from the daily menu special brought a paella with noticeably not fresh seafood and a tough and questionable-tasting chicken. A mush of rice with peas and limp mussels was served with it. The other dish, beef fillet and fries, turned out to be very thin on the grill medium by burnt charcoal-flavored rags on a bed of lettuce leaves and sun-dried tomatoes from the jar. The only good thing was the fries and the parmesan on the meat. 50 euros for both.
29/08/2024: Very friendly owner and waiting staff. The dishes were good, a bit too much topping on the veggie pizza though. Lasagne was tasty, and a generous size. They had a good specials board as well. Good selection of deserts. A large beer ‘only’ €7, most places are charging €9. Overall reasonably priced for good quality.

08/09/2024: Great restaurant with a local feeling and high standard overall. Elton in the kitchen cooked us some tender and tasty Meat, while Mamadu served our table with his warm and genuine presence. Would definitely visit again.

We had vanilla ice cream with it, it was weird, it looked like it had to be frozen and defrosted, it had a weird taste.

18/08/2024: I'm going to get an ice cream for my granddaughter (Italian ice cream). Not knowing I wait in front of the stand for 5 long minutes with an employee with an unpleasant attitude who walks past me without bothering to look at me, when I end up asking her a question, she doesn't even speak to me and points at his colleagues behind the window (too high). I pay for the ice cream with a cone which is already extremely liquid, I come back after 10 seconds to ask her for a pot, she gets annoyed and gives me one that is too small so I explain to her that it is for the ice cream that I just bought and she takes a bigger one and gives it to me abruptly, saying "that's good there"
I understand that it is not easy to work in this heat and that it is possible that the conditions are not pleasant but when you have a polite, caring person in front of you it would be useful to make an effort and above all From this bad experience there is only one less customer left because I will not go back!

23/09/2024: Papa Nino makes the best pizza for nearly 50 years. It is walking distance from both the train station and the beaches. The pizzas are delicious! Each pizza is too much for one person, but not enough for two people. Recommend two pizzas for every three people. Pastas and salads are also superb.
20/09/2024: Excellent service and best pizza in Cannes! This is our go to restaurant when we are in Cannes. The pizza is delicious and authentic.
