07/07/2026: The service was great until we got the owner. We had an issue with our order and she (at first) refused to change it. We ended up paying for something we didn’t even consume. And honestly the food was not fresh at all. Wouldn’t come back. Keep walking and you’ll find way better options at the same price.

06/07/2026: I go to the counter to order inside. They ask me to go outside to place my order with the waitress. I reply that I want to sit inside, and that I don't really understand the logic of going outside to order... and then going inside once I've finished my drink. They tell me that's just how it is. And besides, discussions about wages and unpaid overtime at the counter don't interest the customers.

27/07/2026: Absolutely terrible! The service was completely unprofessional: no welcome whatsoever, we were practically crammed into another table with part of the terrace empty. Wine was brought at the end of the meal. But most importantly, nothing was good, starting with the socca. And to top it all off, they don't take credit cards! In short, go to Pipo's, it's a completely different experience!

19/07/2026: Apart from the name, it has nothing to do with Socca anymore, which is a shame for an establishment of this kind.

30/04/2026: What a disappointment. Despite a pleasant welcome, the promise of cuisine commensurate with the prices was completely unfulfilled. We opted for fried snacks to share: they turned out to be rather bland, lacking any real flavor. For our main courses, we had two spaghetti with clams: while the clams themselves were acceptable, the pasta was literally swimming in olive oil, making the whole dish cloying and unbalanced. With two glasses of wine and a shared starter, the bill came to €120, a price that is difficult to justify given the quality offered. This is puzzling in light of reviews mentioning good value for money. As for the view, often highlighted: while the establishment does face the sea, it is separated by a railway line with regular regional trains passing by. A setting that might appeal to railway enthusiasts… but which clearly detracts from the overall experience.

22/07/2026: Lovely Provençal fabrics, a variety of gift ideas. The pottery, however, really lacks color in my opinion.

08/07/2026: Really lovely family run shop with pottery from the local area and elsewhere in France. Staff were very friendly and willing to answer all my questions about the different items.

30/07/2026: we took away some pasta for out little one and he had no problem making some plain pasta and a small portion for her, we came back later to eat in because it was very hot and the waiter had no problem and generously offered us a seat😁

23/07/2026: SUPERB restaurant, beautiful decor where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in the cool air, lovely dining room, great atmosphere, warm and friendly welcome, excellent cuisine made to order, parking in front of the restaurant, fills up very quickly as there are other businesses with reserved spaces for their customers, depending on the time of arrival it's easy to park. I highly recommend it

15/08/2026: I tried the Miamici restaurant next to the Holiday Inn Express on Victor Hugo, and frankly, it's a fantastic place! The service is impeccable, the portions are generous, and the value for money is excellent. A great place in every way. I highly recommend it!

06/08/2026: We arrive, the terrace is empty, we sit down, and then some little busybody comes up to us and tells us we should have waited to be seated. First of all, if the tables aren't reserved, I'll sit wherever I want (I'm a customer, I don't have to ask to be seated), and secondly, I'm fed up with this trend of letting everyone else dictate to you. Stop acting like you're all that in some random restaurant where the salad you ordered doesn't even match the description on the menu. Bye bye...

30/07/2026: We've dined here several times as a couple and have always had wonderful evenings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with singers and dancers sometimes making it even more enjoyable. Laurence and Basket are lovely, welcoming, and create a fantastic ambiance. The food is excellent and generous, and the cocktails are equally delicious. Considering the quality, the portions, and the setting, the prices are more than reasonable. We highly recommend this place!
