29/04/2026: A fantastic experience at Hippopotamus in Châtelet! The meat was excellent; I ordered a slightly rare steak, and it was perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I came with my son, and he loved his burger too. The service was friendly and quick, which is always appreciated when you have a child. We even took the rest to go because it was so good! 😄 I'll definitely be back!

03/11/2025: Since 2005… pioneers and still going strong. I had the chance to have a pint there on Friday. The SPAR in Arbois (like the brewery, I assume) offers a triple IPA by the bottle, which I'm now enjoying in Paris and which is absolutely delightful. Bravo!

25/08/2025: Very good craft brewery. The recipes are well crafted and the range of flavors is quite broad. We happily return from time to time. August 2025: We still come back; by far, some of the best craft beers we've ever tasted. As a bonus, the owners are super friendly, cheerful, and always smiling—the best 👌🏻 Don't change a thing! PS: If you could remake your elderflower beer, that would be great 😉

18/05/2026: We went one evening during our stay and ordered chicken tenders with sauce to go, but they forgot them, and we only realized it when we got home. We went back two days later to get more tenders, but instead we got wings. I should mention that the place was empty both nights, so it wasn't busy.

10/04/2026: First off, the crispy chicken bagel was tasty. It wasn't amazing, but it was something different. However... the server—a young Black woman—worked sooooooo slowly that just watching her made you want to help out so you could finally get your bagel. Then she forgot the turkey ham on one bagel and almost burned two others because she forgot to turn on the timer. If I owned a company, she wouldn't have made it past the trial shift. Awful. Furthermore, the "restaurant" was anything but inviting. It seemed very dirty. The tables outside hadn't been cleared, and I won't even mention the lack of washing up. If we hadn't been able to sit outside, I would have actually taken my bagel to go, as it was very cramped, stuffy, and completely uncomfortable inside. My conclusion: Yeah, the bagel was okay, the rest was rubbish.

28/03/2026: Excellent American restaurant. The dishes are generous and very good. The drinks and desserts are the same. And above all, excellent service and a great atmosphere. Top-notch service! Nothing to add.

28/04/2026: I celebrated my birthday in the downstairs bar/DJ area and it was really great. The setting is very charming and we had a wonderful evening right up until closing time! I made a reservation through Privateaser and we were a group of about thirty people.
