11/07/2025: Enjoy a beautiful terrace on the old market square. Lunch menu available from the blackboard or à la carte. Very friendly welcome and service. The wine in a jar is a bit pricey (€20), but the rest was perfect.

10/07/2025: The food didn't live up to the venue. We ate shredded chicken with mashed potatoes and a bland sauce. Dessert: a very small slice of Normandy tart. I don't recommend it.

06/07/2025: Papy Joe in Lorient: a huge disappointment, even as a takeout. I had fond memories of this restaurant, but this takeout order really put me off. The burger was bland, uninteresting, a far cry from the delicious recipes of yesteryear. The fries? Reheated leftovers, hard as cardboard, despite a cheddar sauce meant to enhance the flavor. The most regrettable thing is to see how much the quality has declined. Before, there was more choice, burgers crafted with original flavors. Today, we're far from that. Result: 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries, 1 brownie, and €43 for a frankly mediocre experience. Avoid, even for a quick order.

01/07/2025: I ordered via Uber Eats, having fond memories of Papy Joe's, they've obviously changed their menu and the quality as well. Burgers are much less tasty than before and the "cheddar fries" are soggy and without any cheddar in reality, they taste like a low-end cheddar sauce...

14/09/2024: L'expérience client aurait pu être incomparable mais hélas ce n'est pas le cas. Nous avions 2 boissons sur 3 qui ne nous convenaient pas car il y avait du sirop de rhum dans un cocktails sans alcool, nous ne l'avions pas remarqué sur la carte, ce qui est une erreur de notre part. Lorsque nous avons demandé si il était possible de refaire les cocktails sans ce sirop, la femme qui était au bar a refusé car "il faut justifier à la hierarchie et notre motif lui aurait valu de payer les verres de sa poche". (Je vous conseille de changer de boutique si cela s'avérait vrai !) Bref après une longue conversation l'accord a été de nous refaire 1 seul verre sur les 2 mais nous avons bien été facturé tout de même.. Le repas était bon, notre serveur très agréable. Il a relevé le niveau de ce restaurant, merci Louis ! Les 3 étoiles sont pour toi. Un si long avis pour 2 verres à refaire, qui si ils avaient été changé directement, aurait permis que je vous note avec 5 étoiles. Je ne reviendrai pas.

20/08/2024: Très bon accueil. Une carte qui propose les grands classiques du grill. Hamburger appétissant avec une viande de qualité et servi chaud. Service rapide. Bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande.

03/08/2024: A really nice address in Joigny. Retro American atmosphere, the food is good and affordable. The fries are excellent... We always have a good time there!
