17/05/2026: Great spot for windsurfing, both as rental-only or with classes. I spent three days there in May 2026, lucky to get strong winds between 35-45 kmph. I took a group class with Chloe (she’s great as a teacher, explains well the actual steps to follow) and other days I was renting gear. Julien is in charge of the rentals and organizing classes, and responds to emails fast. He’s chill and easy going, gets your gear set up in no time and provides advice and overall positive encouragement. I’d come back without hesitation.

09/05/2026: Absolutely excellent. The food: of very high quality. And sometimes, the chef manages to surprise us, taking us down unexpected paths. Add to that the fact that you'll always be guided through your choices, as the team takes pleasure in advising you. The setting: it's simple. Whether you walk there from the city center (10 minutes...) along the quays for a bucolic, almost pastoral stroll, or drive there (5 minutes...) to be practically immersed in the countryside, the change of scenery is complete. A moment outside of time. A Sunday in the country. Almost like a picnic by the water. All in a magnificent setting that immediately puts you in a state of total relaxation. The city, so close, is completely absent. In 10 minutes, you're somewhere else entirely. All that remains is the water, the birds, the trees, the sun, sometimes the wind, often the ducks. You are warmly welcomed. You are comfortably seated (it's a small thing, a silly detail, but so important...). You are well seated. You are well served. And it must be emphasized that, wherever you are seated—on the terrace by the lock, the canal, and the mill, in the veranda, or inside—you always enjoy a rare privilege these days: the space is not noisy. You can hear each other speak at your table, and at the same time, each table remains private, meaning that the neighboring table cannot hear what is being said at yours. It is very relaxing. You don't just come here to eat; you come here to experience and share a moment. With great simplicity. I don't know of any other place in Narbonne so carefully preserved, so attentive to your palate and your shared experience of the pleasure of dining.

14/06/2026: I had a wonderful time on the terrace of this lovely little restaurant. The food was expertly prepared and tasteful, with one small complaint about the portion size. My friend and I wanted a bit more! Unfortunately, whenever I order pasta at a restaurant, the portions are minimal. Yet, it's not the most expensive ingredient. I recommend having a starter or an aperitif before this dish. (The linguine al vongole was frozen, I should mention, but so well cooked that it was absolutely delicious! The shellfish take up quite a bit of space on the plate, so try adjusting the portion size accordingly. If only two of us thought this, I suspect others felt the same way but didn't dare say so. We mentioned it to the waiter, who said no, the portion was sufficient in his opinion. However, given his size, I think three plates would have easily been enough to satisfy him! Overall, it was fantastic. I'll be back! We saw the cook shouting and yelling in the dining room. Luckily, very few people saw or heard him, but he was very violent. I feel sorry for the rest of the staff who have to deal with this kind of person every day. He was very aggressive and even attacked the furniture. My question is, why make such a scene in the dining room? At the risk of seeing or hearing him? After all, his job is in the kitchen. Overall, the food was very good, and the desserts were excellent. Thank you to the whole team and best of luck.

12/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant in Narbonne. My wife's pizza was very good, but my pasta carbonara was a complete disaster (the pasta was sticky and dry, as if it had been reheated), and the bread was stale, not fresh. In short, go for the pizzas and forget about the pasta.

10/06/2026: The €17 lunch menu is excellent value for money. Fast service, pleasant atmosphere. The only downside, hence the 3 stars, is that when I went to pay, I realized the sauce was extra. This wasn't mentioned when I ordered; I was simply asked if I wanted a sauce. And when I pointed this out to the waitress at the checkout, she didn't respond. She remained silent, as if this happened regularly... I find this trickery a bit dishonest. I would have appreciated a response, at the very least something like, "Oh, sorry, we should have mentioned that."

24/04/2026: A must-try! The decor is just what we love: genuine, authentic, and old-fashioned. The welcome is fantastic, the food is home-style, the portions are generous, and the desserts are truly delicious! There's a large parking lot with a pétanque court, and it's very well located.

09/04/2026: We stopped by for lunch today during a bike ride. Very welcoming, the waitress was very attentive, and the chef was friendly and a good cook too! We thoroughly enjoyed the daily special and dessert. We'll be back!

25/05/2026: I guessed it's seen better days. Food was good but nothing special. We were not asked the point of the meat and was too done for our taste. One of the waiters is excellent, the other one is bad even with a bit of bad manners. We went to other places in the old city that were much better for the food and much more charming. Wouldn't recommend

07/05/2026: The lovely beer garden serves fantastic food. We were delighted with the fish dishes and the very friendly service. It's always worth a visit when we're in the area.

04/05/2026: Still a big fan of La Mie Câline! Superb cookies and Italian-style ice cream, but when will there be a La Mie Câline in Nîmes? It would be a huge success in the city center! I recommend it.

15/06/2026: Beautiful campsite, very well located. The young man at reception told me I could drive in until midnight, but it was closed at 11:30 pm 🤨 Be aware that the website says the pool opens at 9 am, but it's actually 10 am. This campsite is magnificent and very well laid out.
