08/06/2026: The hotel has well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds, as well as a pleasant little pool for relaxing. The staff is friendly. The only downside is that the curtains aren't blackout enough for our liking. We requested a room facing the hotel entrance because the sun rises on the other side and we could hear a lot of road noise (the windows could be improved), and our request was accepted by the friendly receptionist.

18/09/2026: Beautifully situated in a quiet area away from traffic, it's also very pleasant for children. The food is simple but truly delicious, with unbeatable value for money. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely return. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to discover truly authentic French cuisine!

29/09/2026: I regularly come here to pick up a lovely white Vin de Pays, Les Sens des Étangs, or a Merlot. The cooperative also offers local products, including really delicious rice and other small snacks perfect for sharing as an appetizer. You can also put together beautiful gift baskets.
24/09/2026: Friendly staff, good wines from La Clape and the surrounding area, reasonable prices.
A bonus: culinary specialties from Gruissan – plenty of gift ideas.

We opted to treat ourselves to the scallop menu, accompanied by a bottle of white wine from Domaine de la Clape, a very good local wine. 🍷
We weren't disappointed! The ingredients were of very high quality, the dishes were delicious, and we had a wonderful time at this restaurant.
We will definitely be back!

When our pizzas arrive, we first feast our eyes on them because they're so beautiful, then we smell them because they smell amazing, and finally we taste them because they're so flavorful and the crust is wonderfully soft.
Yes, he's truly a champion.

10/09/2026: Two years ago, it was already perfect… and this time again, perfect! 😊
The welcome, the food, the desserts… everything was excellent.
A small comment perhaps regarding the dessert on the children's menu: my daughter would have preferred a dessert like ours (well, a little less childish), which she found much better. Hers seemed a bit too "artificial." But of course, that depends on each child's taste! 😉
We will gladly return!

15/09/2026: Find a spot with a view of the kitchen, nice at the bar! Fantastic. Small menu, good wine. Ingredients are sourced from the various market stalls surrounding it, and products are ‘thrown across the street’ from the butcher. The owner is the French rugby champion.

22/08/2026: They haven't changed the opening hours. We walked all the way from the castle just to eat here, and it said it was open. They haven't bothered to update the hours. There's a sign on the door saying it's closed from August 9th to 24th. Everyone has the right to a vacation, of course. Nobody's judging that. But the least they could do is update the online schedule, which is where everyone checks it. Especially when you're closed for so many days.
12/08/2026: A lovely place to get rejected by your bread. My only reservation is about the man I was with, but the cakes themselves were delicious and comforting (thank goodness).
On the downside, they were so large and took so long to eat that it created a very awkward moment after my declaration of love.
He offered to pay for my share, but I'm an independent and proud woman, so I paid. I'll definitely be back (alone) when I've regained some dignity.
