28/12/2025: Cold, empty restaurant, tasteless and dry meat. I'll never go back. The meat was very questionable in terms of freshness and hygiene. The fries were brown, probably from oil that had been used multiple times. I absolutely do not recommend it. In fact, the health inspectors should pay it a visit...

18/11/2025: This kebab was terrible, the meat was dry. It's a shame because it used to be okay, but the quality has seriously deteriorated! I absolutely do not recommend it because it has absolutely no flavor… I'm going to a competitor because the meat really needs improvement! Go to L'Olympe instead; for me, it's the best kebab in the Oise region.

14/04/2026: This canteen-style bistro (and even canteens are much cleaner) in Vannes (56) is a place to avoid! Filthy plates, equally filthy cutlery! Supposedly fresh fries... the meat was cooked fine, but the presentation was awful! The waitress described the sundae as Italian-style ice cream, which was just plain vanilla-flavored water ice with a red fruit coulis as bland as the ice cream itself. We were asked if everything was alright, and I explained that it wasn't—the disgusting plates, the cutlery, the ice cream... SHE replied, "Disgusting, don't exaggerate!" I showed her a photo, and SHE replied, "Besides, SHE took photos!" I know it's a tiring job, but the "SHE" part is unacceptable. And then, when we explained that Italian-style ice cream is made with cream, she replied, "Machine-made ice cream..." Okay, and the other customers were generally satisfied! And yes, people don't dare say what's wrong, even the woman at the next table said it wasn't great, and yet at the till, she replied, "How are you?" Normally, you take things into consideration, you even apologize, rather than saying stupid things. Open for only 8 days and this is already 3 negative reviews! Bravo! The 4 stars aren't based on the reviews of this little place in Vannes, but on all the Bistrot Régent restaurants combined, because some stand out for their presentation and their food.

02/04/2026: One-night tourist stay One renovated room… a mix-up between the reservation and the assigned room (I requested a double bed but was given two singles). The manager was very professional and found a solution. Excellent, quiet room… simply very, very good.

24/03/2026: Pleasant stay, good value for money – that's mainly why I booked, and I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist answered quickly despite my call at 10:30 pm. The person on the phone and at reception was very pleasant during my visit. Simple and efficient in providing instructions. I was pleasantly surprised by the room! Quiet location.

26/03/2026: Awful owner, he was incredibly rude and ignored all of our questions. DO NOT ENTER. 0/10 experience

26/03/2026: The manager was so difficult, I asked how much it was for a game and he pointed at a sign (that was in French). Disheartened, we asked a colleague whether the price was for an hour or for a game and they shrugged and pointed at the manager who ignored us. Whilst we were trying to work out whether we could play or not, we could see the manager taking the piss out of us to his colleague. Would have loved to bowl, but our limited French clearly meant we were ostracised and mocked. No need, and the manager clearly doesn’t like tourists and has no intention of trying to help those wanting to participate. I understand I don’t speak the language but we were nothing but friendly and met with pure hatred

15/03/2026: A dinner party with friends planned for a few weeks (16 people). Two menus were offered, each with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts—something to please everyone. Every dish was delicious and very generous. Excellent welcome, perfect service. A big thank you for this wonderful evening; we will gladly return!

22/02/2026: Quiet and pleasant, with a lake view. Warm welcome, friendly staff.

21/10/2025: Homemade, high-quality cuisine. A small menu that blends Corsican and local specialties. A minimalist atmosphere, but with a beautiful fireplace where the meats are cooked.

22/07/2025: Big disappointment. For a Saturday evening, only 3 tables set up on the terrace, that should have been a warning sign for us.... I'll stop there, not wanting to be unpleasant, but this restaurant should be avoided! 3-star rating for the service, as it was provided by a very young girl (who must have been the owner's daughter). 01/02/2026: A truly unique restaurant... the entire interior is exquisitely decorated... you're transported back in time... a real feast for the eyes... and the food is plentiful and delicious... I highly recommend the croque monsieur, among other things; the pizzas are generous and well-topped... the welcome and service are excellent... I highly recommend this place

03/01/2026: I was very disappointed by this restaurant, which I know very well. I ordered lasagna, but there was no lasagna. I changed to mussels, but there were no mussels either! Finally, I ended up with a mediocre pizza, and my companion had pasta carbonara, which was carbonara in name only. I won't even mention the service. As a customer for three decades, I'll be going elsewhere.
