From the very beginning of the preparations, we were surrounded by exceptional kindness, compassion, and professionalism. They always had a reassuring word, were always there to help us relax, and ensured we experienced this adventure as peacefully as possible. Our wedding was also an international one, with guests and conversations in French, Japanese, and English. This naturally presented a real challenge in terms of organization and communication, but the entire team was extraordinary. Despite the language barriers, they managed to connect with everyone, welcoming each person warmly and kindly, and making all our loved ones feel comfortable and included. Honestly, seeing how much effort they put into communicating with all our guests and taking care of each one of them touched us deeply. But above all, they were exceptionally kind and compassionate. The day before our wedding, we faced a serious family tragedy and were completely lost, unsure of what to do. Despite this incredibly difficult situation, we decided to go ahead with the wedding in a more suitable format… and that's where Joyce and her entire team were extraordinary. They adapted to our needs from start to finish with a gentleness, understanding, and humanity that we will never forget. They accompanied us, guided us, supported us, and surrounded us with such kindness. We felt cared for from beginning to end, pampered like few others in our lives. I honestly don't know how we would have gotten through this without them. Their kindness, their presence, their professionalism, and their ability to manage everything despite the circumstances greatly contributed to making our wedding a success and a truly beautiful memory. Thank you seems far too weak a word to express our gratitude. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue and team, a thousand times over, five million times even. 29/04/2026: Nguyen-Hoang, a Vietnamese restaurant in Marseille's Old Port district, is quite popular, with the entrance already packed with customers waiting and dining at lunchtime. The restaurant has limited seating, making the space feel a bit cramped, and the tables and chairs show signs of age. However, the owner is very welcoming and proactively guides customers to their seats, a definite plus. This time, I ordered Vietnamese pho and roasted duck rice. The tableware is simple and homey, without much decoration. The pho broth was rather cloudy, presumably because raw meat slices were cooked directly in the broth, lacking the crispness of pre-processed meat, resulting in a slightly less flavorful dish. The roasted duck rice was rather ordinary, falling slightly short of my expectations. Overall, for the Old Port area, the prices are relatively affordable. It's fine if you just want a quick meal, but if you have more time, I suggest considering other areas where you might find more refined and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine.
