The restaurant is run by passionate people, and it shows in the service, the food, the flavor combinations, and the quality of the ingredients (all at very reasonable prices). 18/04/2026: We came as a group of four with friends. The welcome was very warm, and we chose the daily special for 30 euros. We started with a chilled asparagus velouté, followed by sea bass and squid cooked on the plancha grill with asparagus and a small crab bisque, and a surprising dessert of Fourme d'Ambert ice cream with an endive salad. A menu worthy of a gourmet restaurant, with great attention to detail and a wealth of flavors.

31/01/2026: Great products and truly exceptional service. I hardly speak any French, but the saleswoman immediately switched to English and helped me very kindly. She even carefully and airtight-packed everything so I could easily take the cheeses on the plane. You can immediately tell how much emphasis is placed on quality and customer service here. Highly recommended!

03/04/2026: A dark and dreary location in a deserted alley in Aix-en-Provence. We were misled by reviews referring to previous owners, if not other establishments with similar names. The food was poor quality, something even an excellent chef (and that wasn't the case). We should have known right away: the place was empty (us and a German couple). The service was good, as the waiter was very friendly, but he couldn't save the food. I forgot: there are no outdoor tables and no terrace (the reviews that mention it must refer to some other establishment).

19/04/2026: We ate here today and expected much more. We can't understand the many good reviews. The server was very unenthusiastic, and since she was alone, the service was relatively slow, but still acceptable. The appetizers were okay, and up to that point, we were reasonably satisfied. However, the main courses were disappointing. We had the prawns in tamarind sauce (€18.00) and the prawns with vermicelli (€17.00). The first dish was far too expensive for what it was, as it was really just four prawns in a salad. The portion size of the second dish was okay, but the taste wasn't anything special. Since we don't speak French and the server apparently didn't speak English either, we didn't ask any further questions or bring it up directly. We cannot recommend this restaurant. What a shame.
