22/10/2026: I just edited a negative review I never posted about a takeaway order! Apparently, reviews can be faked! I can confirm that Emilio's is delicious and the service is excellent. I was shocked to see a negative review in my name, just like a review for Quick where I never left a comment. Strange... Anyway, it's not a big deal. I'll take this opportunity to say that Emilio's is very good. I recommend an Aperol Spritz as an aperitif; the bartender has a secret recipe. The eggplant parmigiana is a great starter, and all the dishes are excellent.

13/09/2026: A fantastic place we discovered last year and returned to this summer with just as much pleasure! The quality of the ingredients is impeccable, and the care put into the cooking is evident in every dish: the combinations of ingredients and the cooking techniques are perfect and expertly executed. Add to that a very pleasant setting and a warm welcome that makes you want to come back. A sure bet in Arles!

11/09/2026: Disastrous experience. I expressed my doubts to the owner about my lasagna. Barely 15 minutes after finishing my meal, I started feeling unwell, with symptoms of severe gastroenteritis. It's impossible to imagine that this wasn't related to the questionable quality of what I ate. I strongly advise against going to this place.

07/10/2026: Le Bocage restaurant in La Roque-d’Anthéron is an outstanding and highly recommended establishment. I visited in August and ate lunch there five days in a row during my stay – always choosing the daily specials menu, except for one day. Every day, the kitchen surprised me with its enormous variety and diversity. The dishes were flavorful yet perfectly balanced. Both in the presentation and preparation, you immediately notice the meticulous attention to detail – the chef adds just the right finishing touches. The textures, the selection of ingredients, and the artisanal precision on the plate all testify to high quality and true culinary artistry. I would even go so far as to say that if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely make a detour just to eat here again. I could recommend every single dish without exception. A particular highlight for me was the risotto: I'm not usually a big fan of risotto, but I always give it a chance. Here, it was simply fantastic! The texture was perfect – not too soft, not too firm – and it was seasoned to perfection. You wanted to savor every bite and immediately looked forward to the next day. The desserts were phenomenal, too: the rice pudding is an absolute must, but classics like the brownie are just as good. The only slight disappointment was a fish dish with ravioli. While the fish was extremely fresh and of excellent quality, it was very mildly seasoned with a slightly pronounced flavor of its own, and the ravioli were a bit too soft. It was still delicious, though. But anyone who thinks the kitchen can't prepare fish or seafood is sorely mistaken: the very next day I had a mussel pasta that was simply perfect. Nothing more needs to be said. A fantastic restaurant with a wonderful team. You leave happy and are guaranteed to return!

26/09/2026: A very friendly welcome! A varied menu with something for everyone! Since I was craving meat, I ordered the ribeye steak with homemade fries and a side salad. Finally, a restaurant that offers quality meat, accompanied by shallot sauce and a subtle, slightly sweet vinaigrette that complements the shallot sauce perfectly! Nothing to complain about! Go and treat yourself. Enjoy your meal!

29/09/2026: A small restaurant with a very pleasant street-side terrace (the street is pedestrianized), ideal for enjoying the (last) summer evenings. It seems the owner himself is serving, and he was very accommodating, whether it was asking for an ingredient removed from a dish or sharing a dessert. As for the food, I don't know to what extent our dishes could be considered "authentic," having seen panisses elsewhere that were rather round and being used to pissaladière with a thinner crust (I won't comment on the bouillabaisse), but it doesn't matter whether they were reinterpretations or not because everything was very good. The panisses arrived at our table piping hot and crispy-soft, accompanied by an aioli that truly tasted of garlic; they were absolutely delicious, much better than any panisses we've had in the past. The focaccia-style bread on top of the pissaladière was a wonderful complement to the red onion compote. The bouillabaisse, for its part, had a distinctly fishy flavor, and we were pleased to have been able to try this dish in a tapas-style format for a modest price compared to what other establishments charge. For dessert, the French toast, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce, was excellent. If we had still had room, we would have also tried the generous tiramisu that looked so tempting at the next table.
