27/07/2026: Café Du Commerce is without a doubt the most authentic French restaurant in the wider area that we have visited. The spacious terrace under the plane trees, overlooking the petanque courts, is truly picturesque. The grilled dishes are delicious and served promptly. What makes this restaurant extra special are the owners: honest, professional, and warm people who run their business with passion and make their guests feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended for anyone on holiday in this region!

22/07/2026: Beautiful place and the meal was perfect. Be aware that the coconut ice cream isn't always delivered 😉. Seriously, a quintessential Provençal spot where the service is also top-notch. A lovely break at lunchtime to go for lunch. I highly recommend it.

18/06/2026: We had lunch there with a friend, three of us, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. We received a very warm welcome and were seated on the terrace, in the shade. Three set menus at €27 each: Mixed salad with confit chicken gizzards, excellent, very flavorful. Skewer of chicken fillets, chorizo, and tomatoes, barbecue flavor with Cajun sauce, accompanied by homemade vegetables; the meat was very tender, well-prepared, and delicious. Fresh haddock fillet with lemon cream and chives, accompanied by homemade vegetables, also very good. Roasted pork tenderloin with a creamy Cajun-spiced sauce, accompanied by homemade vegetables; the meat was very tender, slightly pink in the center, perfectly cooked, and excellent. Vanilla crème brûlée with whipped cream, very good. Apple and Armagnac tartlet with rum and raisin ice cream and whipped cream. Ruby, strawberry, blackcurrant, and raspberry ice cream sundae... A rosé wine from the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence region, from Saint Julien Les Martigues, an expression of the Provençal Venice, perfect to accompany the meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it; excellent value for money.

27/06/2026: We celebrated my sweetheart's surprise 25th birthday. We booked the room for 40 people with the €25/person cocktail reception package. The buffet was excellent and homemade; we thoroughly enjoyed it. There was more than enough food, and it was replenished at just the right time by the waitress who was taking care of us. The cakes were excellent; we had chocolate and speculoos, and we loved them. The team at Pajuto is exceptional, attentive, and responsive. They made our evening perfect. Everyone was delighted. A huge thank you to the entire Pajuto team; it was a wonderful evening. And a special mention to the waitress who took such good care of us with the buffet, cakes, and drinks from the fridge. She was incredibly professional, with excellent interpersonal and practical skills, always kind and smiling. A huge thank you! And a big thank you to the manager of Pajuto who answered every call and question, who was always there for us whenever we needed to come to the venue to help with preparations, and who was always there to assist us. 14/07/2026: What a wonderful brunch! There were five of us: one child and two teenagers (and of course, two adults 😉). We stumbled upon this place by chance. The welcome and service were fantastic, and the dining room was cool (especially during the heatwave) thanks to the air conditioning in the basement with its stone vaulted ceiling. The restaurant is perfectly decorated in an American diner theme. The brunch menus are very generous: we chose the Betty Egg Muffins (savory or sweet), Betty Brunch of the Day (for those with a big appetite), and the pancakes! For dessert, the brunch includes a mouthwatering cheesecake and a delicious carrot cake. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and very tasty; it's unbeatable in terms of value for money. They don't have a children's menu, but they adapt accordingly. Really lovely, a must-try if you enjoy American diners and that kind of atmosphere!

24/07/2026: A pleasant town where we had a lovely week. However, there was a problem when we left: we couldn't find any communal bins for our recyclables and glass in the town center! We didn't want to leave them in the containers at the private residence where we were staying because there was no one there after us. What does the town plan to do?

12/04/2026: A quick stop during a trip to the coast, everything was delicious, from the sushi to the spring rolls, from the skewers of the rising sun to the bowl of vegetable noodles. The staff is very pleasant and professional. A great place to return to on my next trip to Marseille.

12/07/2026: After desperately searching for a place to have breakfast without getting scorched by the Marseille sun (we love you, but this is getting ridiculous!), we settled on the pleasant terrace of the Black Bird where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a truly charming setting. 30/07/2026: Very disappointing service tonight; the organization needs improvement. > I regularly come to this restaurant, and while everything isn't perfect, this is the first time the experience has been so disastrous. The only customer in the dining room around 8:30 pm, it took me almost 30 minutes to leave with a simple sandwich. > The two staff members on duty completely prioritized delivery orders, leaving me waiting several times in the middle of my order being prepared. It's a shame to let the restaurant's reputation suffer because of such poor management and task allocation by tonight's team. I hope things will return to normal on my next visits.

22/07/2026: Simply excellent! The sushi is fresh and made right in front of the customer, which is a nice touch. I often use their takeout service, and they're always on time, even when the restaurant is full. The cashiers are very pleasant, smiling, and polite. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation; the taste, the quality, the friendly service—everything for a delightful meal!

31/07/2026: Excellent Asian (Vietnamese) restaurant with unbeatable value for money. We had a family dinner for four for €69, including drinks and a meal for everyone. The terrace's location along the canal gives it a pleasant, summery feel.
