06/07/2026: we did the private vegan wine tasting here. it was so good - they explained everything we were interested in and picked the perfect wines for us. sadly viator (where we booked it 4 weeks in advance) didnt inform them correctly, so the day we booked it on, they were not ready but we could reschedule for the next day and he gave us more wine as an apology :) but maybe try to figure it out with viator again - so you always know when people come..

13/09/2026: Debrief of our meal last night during the Feria The only positive point of the evening: the mixed appetizers Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were quite surprised to discover a single set menu for €52, which hadn't been mentioned at all when we made our reservation… A €52 menu that, in the end, seemed more like an enhanced version of the usual €40 menu. The appetizer, however, was quite good… and I think that was unfortunately the only positive aspect of the meal. Then came the main courses: kidneys, chicken with mushrooms, rouille (a garlic and garlic stew), or rib-eye steak. And be warned, the rib-eye steak costs an extra €10… As for the rest, the dishes seemed rather light, especially for a menu priced at that level. Then came dessert… and that was the icing on the cake! 🍓 Most of our table opted for the strawberries. We then received a bowl of whole strawberries, not even cut, along with a small bowl of whipped cream to share between five people. The result: about six strawberries per person and one spoonful of whipped cream each… At over €60 per person, one has to wonder if it wasn't a bit stingy, don't you think? The quality, quantity, and value for money clearly need improvement.

29/07/2026: First and last experience at this club. We paid €20 to try squash, but the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no welcome, no coach or staff member to explain the rules, how it worked, or even offer any advice to beginners. We were simply left to fend for ourselves. The equipment provided was very old and in poor condition, which really discouraged us from playing. The worst part was the temperature in the courts: no air conditioning. It was stiflingly hot, to the point that we had to stop after less than ten minutes because it was so difficult to breathe. For a first experience with squash, it was a huge disappointment. We left feeling like we had paid €20 for a very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this establishment, especially if you are a beginner.

The leg of lamb is superb, but you'll also want to try the other daily specials and won't be disappointed. Special mention goes to the professionalism of the service, which is very efficient and manages the lunchtime rush on market day perfectly.

07/09/2026: This is a fabulous restaurant with fabulous food. I cannot understand why some of the reviews state that the owners/waiters were rude, this is not the case at all so ignore it we went twice and they were lovely, including the young lady waitress who really looked after us. There are only 3 of them, they don’t dilly dally, they are quick, efficient and hard working if some think this is rude well they do not deserve to eat there. My husband had the lamb signature dish both times and he said it was the best meal he had had in St Remy. I had the sea-bream and they did me some dauphinois potatoes too, delicious. We had the prawns to start and the mayonnaise eggs both fresh and delicious and the signature desert is to die for, the île flottante (floating island) you just have to have it is amazing my husband had the meringue and fresh berries which also said was amazing. Please don’t read the reviews and be put off, I nearly was but every night we walked by it was busy we were so glad we ignored the reviews. We had lots of wine too which was always ice cold and delicious. You have to go here you will not be disappointed. We will certainly go back when we visit St Remy again. Rose
