09/12/2024: Déçue car nous avons été mangé là bas en famille et le serveur peut être même le patron je pense a été très agressif envers ma fille qui a sorti sa cigarette électronique,en prétextant qu’il y avait des enfants,elle avait à peine mise à la bouche…il lui a hurlé dessus ainsi qu’à son amie en lui disant que ce n’était pas à elle qu’il parlait….bref je comprends qu’il ne faut pas fumer de cigarette électronique à l’intérieur c’est tout à fait normal mais il y a des façons de dire les choses….je n’ai rien dis sur le coup pour ne pas faire d’histoires mais honnêtement le manque de respect de ce monsieur envers les clients est à inadmissible !de plus nous lui avons demandé gentiment du parmesan et il m’a répondu d’un ton sec qu’il nous l’avait déjà donné :la verrine de parmesan etait vide….ensuite il nous ramène un parmesan mais sans cuillère pour le servir!bref de plus l’endroit est très bruyant avec beaucoup de passages et de va et vient à côté de nous quand nous mangions,nous ne reviendrons pas c’est une certitude! Je ferai passer le mot à mon entourage et connaissances qui viennent sur Aix ,qu’ils n’atterrissent pas dans un endroit où l’on va leur manquer de respect ! Je précise aussi que une fois rentrée chez moi j’ai été malade toute la soirée donc c’était la cerise sur le gâteau ! Passez votre chemin….

15/11/2023: I ordered a baked camembert with cold meats and potatoes. To my great surprise, Camembert, accompanied by flavorless cold meats, are probably bought vacuum packed in a supermarket like Metro or Carrefour. The most disappointing point was the potato, obviously poorly cooked, which is regrettable since it was the only item prepared in the kitchen. My colleague opted for the other dish of the day, a charcuterie pork chop, which turned out to be equally disappointing. The dish consisted of low quality bacon, already prepared baby onions, and frozen fries, far from what one would expect from a restaurant that advocates the use of fresh produce. The characterless white bread accompanied our pathetic meal. What particularly struck me was the blatant contradiction between the quality of the dishes served and the promise displayed on the first page of the menu, stipulating that all products are fresh. This experience was a source of frustration and disappointment for me. I wouldn't come back. The only positive point: the setting and the politeness of the waitress.

01/09/2024: I don't like to criticize an address where I was well received. We arrive, there are people. The reception is smiling. We settle down. The setting inside is nicely charged and warm. Outside, the terrace is a little steep. Our hosts are considerate and helpful. Alas, the Spain that is offered to us is somewhat artificial. We are quite far, both in spirit and in price, from Donostia or Barcelona. The uneducated, neoconservative bank employees of the snowflake generation at the next table are on their own business. They are more inclined to criticize their employer and their managers than the dishes served to them. And they are not really able to express themselves on either one. But let's get back to our business, the table. Unfortunately, it is not at the level expected. The pan con tomate is good but deserves a better baker. The croquetas are homemade and not bad. The ones with chorizo ​​are better than the ones with jamon. The eggplant fritters lack softness and the chestnut honey is too present. The rabas are rabas but rather than a simple mayonnaise a little more pep would have been desired. The wine is rather a good surprise. The main fault is unfortunately an essential Iberian marker, the charcuterie. All this is a shame because a little sourcing, a little generosity in discovery and a (slight?) revision of prices would do a lot of good at this address and are largely desirable. Indeed, the prices displayed are high and it is better to come here by booking with a platform offering discounts (30 to 50% depending on the day). For example, the prices applied to Padrón peppers would make any naturally constituted (i.e. robust) Basque from Gipuzkoa or Navarre lose heart. A “Racion” here represents the price of approximately 3 kilos of this merchandise in a super market in the southwest. So yes there are the personnel, the charges, the taxes and the remuneration of the company and the entrepreneur (2 separate things). But we still have to pay around 200% of the price charged by the best stops of this type in a town like Biarritz, well known for its economical, affordable side. But it is true that we are closer to Italy than to the border between Le Perthus and La Jonquera and even further from Irún. This perhaps explains it. Notwithstanding, to merit the extra cost, we would have appreciated, for example, the provision of a cup of good olive oil from Empordá or elsewhere on the peninsula. It would even have given the shop adjoining the restaurant a bit of publicity. In short, I remain doubtful, like my guests. Too bad again.

06/09/2024: La Passerelle is a really nice wine bar, perfect for having a chill time. The wine selection is top notch, with lots of choice, and the atmosphere is always friendly. The customers and team are super welcoming, and the relaxed atmosphere of the place, with its outdoor space, is a real plus. The ideal place for a good drink with friends in a warm setting!

23/09/2024: So today on the menu Aïoli blah blah really not good. On the plate a huge potato which was not cooked today but from the day before, two wilted carrots a piece of cauliflower some beans 6 mussels, and a piece of fish not great. I forgot the hard boiled egg finally I was very very disappointed with the meal so I'm going to look for another restaurant and what's more, I'm not going to recommend it, the waitress was very friendly on the other hand. Good evening everyone.
