27/09/2024: Quintessential French Bistro. Tight quarters, excellent wine list, inspired menu and great service; along with a fun, vibrant atmosphere! Been back and am going back.

27/09/2024: Overall food was good, price point a little towards the high side. Great wine, super packed and mainly tourist. Worth a try but you likely could get a better ROI somewhere else.

23/10/2025: Don't miss this fantastic hotel when passing through Chinon. It's located in a quiet, natural setting with a fabulous view. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The food is delicious and showcases local produce.

11/12/2025: Great pub with a good choice of bar food and beers on tap. The staff were fantastic and made us feel right at home.

24/11/2024: We had a great stay "SmartBox" offered by our children. Cleanliness throughout the BRAVO establishment, a large bathroom visibly renovated, a spacious bedroom with a small balcony. The SPA area, a little extra to have a good time as a couple. The boss is very welcoming and makes you feel at ease. The meals are excellent (my companion is a professional chef, he really enjoyed the dishes). Super friendly and attentive staff, thank you all for helping us have a good time. I add a little snub to those who criticize the lack of sympathy......if you smile, we will smile at you, it's not more complicated than that

27/01/2026: Very nice. The setting is magnificent and the staff very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, but not enough to share the dishes as it's still a bit pricey.

25/01/2026: The place is very nice, the decor is great, the space is spacious, and frankly, it's super classy! The food is good and well-seasoned (at least the dishes we ordered). However, the portions, which are meant to be shared, are a bit small. The prices inevitably add up quickly given the portion sizes and the fact that you tend to order more. We had chicken skewers that were delicious but arrived lukewarm, which was a shame. But overall, it was good.

26/10/2025: I've been to Bistro Trèfle several times, and it's always a real treat! The daily special is always excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. A special mention goes to the chocolate mi-cuit served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream... a pure delight! 🍫🍨 The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly, and the staff is always smiling and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

23/01/2026: The staff were very pleasant, the food excellent, and the location great. I find the price a bit high for a tobacco shop/brasserie, but otherwise I recommend it.

16/01/2026: The food was truly awful. The knives served were full of sand (so they hadn't been washed), basically garbage. The lobster was lukewarm, as was its side dish, and the wait was incredibly long even though the restaurant was only three-quarters empty.

31/10/2025: A great place for simple, tasty, homemade lunches. They offer complete dishes with fish or meat, vegetables, and grains, as well as soups and desserts, available to eat in or take away. We'll definitely be back! 🙂
