04/07/2025: Very satisfied in every way. Excellent, generous portions, and a very courteous waiter. I recommend it! I regularly go to this restaurant for lunch with friends, and every time everything is perfect! The dishes are beautiful, prepared with excellent ingredients, and delicious. It's truly one of the best restaurants in St-Etienne. Don't hesitate to visit! The welcome is excellent, the waiter is friendly and attentive to our needs.

17/12/2024: Huge room that resonates a lot. Neat presentation of the dishes but the dishes lack pep and the cooking leaves something to be desired. In principle I only have one main course and one dessert. There I took the menu for 35 euros Starter Main Course Dessert, and I left hungry. The fruit soup is just multi-fruit juice, the scallops are overcooked, the Norwegian omelette is almost nothing more than ice cream, the Catalan cream was more of an egg flan... As for payment upon reservation, we are told says that restaurant vouchers are accepted and when it comes time to pay in fact they are not taken! In short, won't go back.

10/09/2024: It's nice to be on the terrace until your neighbors decide to smoke you with their cancer lollipops. When are we going to ban smoking in restaurants, even on the terrace? My truffle pasta no longer had any flavor

09/09/2024: Very disappointed by the brunch buffet at €42 on Sunday lunchtime. The limited choice, the rib of beef cooked a la plancha were only small pieces not always of choice, lukewarm, the potatoes and ratatouille cold, average service because you had to ask for cutlery which was not self-service. There were cups for tea, then tea bags... The place is very noisy. Too bad because the space is beautiful and the reception and service team are very pleasant, smiling and very attentive. Thank you to them!

30/11/2024: An incredible place! The dishes are tasty, perfectly prepared, and highlight quality products. The staff are really lovely, welcoming and attentive without overdoing it. With the view of the vineyards as a bonus (even if it was quite foggy on the big day), it’s a moment that we won’t forget.

Generous, delicious and homemade, everything is perfect from starters to desserts Too bad I can't come more often but I never forget to stop by when I come to the region Sylvie, I promise I will send a little card ;-)

03/07/2025: I just spent 3 days in Magnolia Calvi. The location is perfect, near to everything very central and convenient. Unfortunately few event were really annoying; To start, one morning while we were still in bed, the housekeeper tried to enter the room without knocking. We shouted “no”, but she came in anyway—and then proceeded to speak to us standing at the door, while we were still lying in bed. It felt like a complete lack of privacy and respect. The next day, after the cleaning service came through, we returned to find our blanket thrown on the floor, and the towels hadn’t even been replaced. That was honestly quite shocking and unacceptable for any hotel. The reception is almost All the time empty, we tried to call few times, but no one ever answered. And also, if you have big luggage’s, no one will help you carry it, which in my opinion is the basic service any hotel should provide.

30/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The welcome was warm and the owners were very kind. Dogs are welcome.

06/09/2024: An excellent address in Strasbourg Neudorf. Tarte flambée was excellent, and our main dishes were fabulous. The server advised us on the wines and overall the staff were extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

04/09/2024: Halte habituelle sur notre trajet en Nantes et Toulouse, nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant lors de nos passages. Le concept du service en une seule fois nous convient très bien et nous permet de manger rapidement. Les serveuses sont très à l’écoute et viennent régulièrement voir les clients pour voir si tout se passe bien. Les plats proposés sont bien cuisinés et goûteux. Je recommande ce restaurant.

23/08/2024: Lunch on the terrace which is pleasant. The big problem is the “concept” of starter, main course and dessert served at the same time on the same plate. Never seen before! Result: you have to eat the dish first otherwise it is cold. What's more, red meat... then the starter then the dessert which is hot when it's a panacotta! It's more about cooking. We wondered if it was a staff problem... in any case we won't be back.
