28/01/2026: For 10 years, I was a regular customer at the Auberge des Tureaux, but life's twists and turns meant I hadn't been back for 15 years. My first surprise: the chef recognized me, and so did the staff—many of whom hadn't changed. I won't deny that this was a very pleasant welcome! My second surprise: the food was still as delicious as ever, perhaps even better than I remembered, and the portions were still just as generous. In short, apart from the decor, nothing had changed, or rather, it had even improved! This makes the Auberge des Tureaux probably the best value for money in the Allier region today.

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. We're a family with two girls, aged 9 and 4. The children's menu was fantastic and a welcome change from the usual steak and nuggets. They had a beef fillet which they loved. For adults, the menu looked tempting and the portions were generous! €80 for the four of us, including beer and a glass of wine – excellent value for money! We highly recommend it! 😊

23/02/2026: Very disappointed! We came once before, and it was great: fine and refined cuisine. But this Sunday, the dishes had a very heavy, overpowering sauce that was not good at all. We also had a very large portion of sweetbreads, which was sickening because it was too big, again with a heavy, thick, and very strong sauce. For dessert, we ordered sorbet, and we were brought three scoops with nothing else! Not a mint leaf, no small fruit for garnish, not a small biscuit, nothing for €15! What a disappointment for €180! We will not be returning to Karélian.

16/04/2026: "My First French Dining Experience: Grilled Snails and Beef Stew in Red Wine" 🐌6 Large Burgundy Snails €13 🥩Boeuf Bourguignon Beef Stew in Burgundy €26 🧅Onion Soup €13 The grilled snails were pesto-flavored; the snails themselves didn't have a particularly strong flavor, it was mostly pesto! 😆 Worth trying! The most famous dish is the beef stew in red wine! The beef was very tender, but the sauce was probably a bit too salty for Taiwanese tastes 💫 However, it was quite good with bread! 🥖 The onion soup was delicious! The thick baked crust on top was amazing! However, the soup was also a bit salty... but overall I thought it was great!!
