06/11/2024: Cuisine typically in the Japanese spirit: apparently Spartan but full of finesse and delicacy: Japanese refinement. Quantity perhaps a little tight for Westerners but the quality and taste are there. The little Fujiyama of taste buds in La Rochelle. The boss-chef doesn't care about the customers at all: a Professional, very pleasant indeed. The only downside is that the service is a little too long, but this is explained by the fact that the owner, alone, prepares fresh and tasty products for you and not dishes prepared in advance and that the lady is the only one to serve. . In any case, I will return there because the waiting time is rewarded by the qualitative content of your plate. Rating: 18.80/20. And the prices are particularly fair for the high quality offered. Allow around €30 per person for a complete taste treat sending you straight to the land of the rising Sun.

11/09/2024: En vacances à St Palais, notre premier resto du séjour. Nous avons pris le menu du jour (filet de lieu noir et dessert au choix). Le serveur ne nous a pas pressé. Nous avons pu manger en toute tranquillité. Accueil sympathique et surtout très bon repas. En terme de pris, c’est vraiment abordable. 16€ le menu (plat/dessert). Très bonne adresse.

05/09/2024: Bon accueil. Rapport qualité prix parfait Menu à 30 euros pour tout le monde ,entrée plat dessert.Service rapide et très agréable. Les plats sont bien cuisinés,assiette généreuse et bien présentés. Pain frais à volonté sans réclamer . Je recommande vivement. Belle surprise pour un restaurant qui ne paie pas de mine. Indice de propreté, les toilettes sont nickels.

13/12/2024: Crêperie décevante par rapport à quelques années. On cherche le goût du sarrazin et garniture sans goût avec 1 banane à l'intérieur noircie.les crêpes sont molles sans saveurs, la froment encore moins bonne et vraiment sans goût. Il faudrait que le chef aille prendre des cours en Bretagne...pour 2 crêpes et 1 bolée, ai payé quasiment aussi cher qu'un menu complet...

26/09/2024: We were well received, one lunchtime without reservation. We were served quickly, the food was very good and plentiful! Homemade fries, delicious! Nice place to have a good time!

06/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, impeccable quality and price. You have to be hungry when you come. Just the Irish coffee isn't really up to scratch, but we forgive it because the rest is very generous 😊

10/11/2024: A little disappointed with our dinner on November 8: snails with parsley in water (defrosting?), seafood gratin/veal sweetbreads....which we really had to look for. On the other hand, very good cocktails.

03/12/2024: Good little restaurant. Friendly welcome. I recommend the calf's head for those who like it. However: For the pizzas, one criticism: there is a lack of oregano and that's a shame, that's what gives the pizza its taste!!! A little too much cheese! For desserts: The coffee ice cream and the Liège coffee did not taste like coffee but like caramel...In short, you have to pull yourself together!!!

21/08/2024: Simply perfect!!!!! What a beautiful address discovered by chance at the location of our gite. The food is excellent, the setting magnificent and the service top notch. Very beautiful cellar.

29/08/2024: Authenticity and quality! An establishment that is consistent with its location. At the foot of a magnificent castle, this hotel has retained all its charm. The rooms are carefully decorated in theme and very clean. I found a perfect welcome there by hoteliers who seem to love their job. A quality restoration. I recommend without hesitation.

26/08/2024: Excellent endroit cadre somptueux, serveur/se adorables a l'écoute des clients. Service très rapide au top ! Présentation magnifique, plat très bon et goûteux. Les saveurs dans la bouche une explosion ( un feu d'artifice en bouche ).
