07/04/2026: We went to eat at the restaurant on Saturday evening with friends. The dining room is lovely, the waitress very friendly. Our dishes were beautiful and delicious. I recommend it.

Our group of eight, who stayed in June and were a bit noisy, thoroughly enjoyed their stay and will certainly recommend your establishment. Go without hesitation! The beach and sea are a 10-minute drive away.

03/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant, situated in an unusual setting where nature deliberately takes center stage. The chef shared his extensive experience with us through his dishes. I take my hat off to him for the slow-cooked sea bass with thinly sliced ​​artichokes: a truly signature dish. The other dishes were all executed with exquisite precision in seasoning and cooking, where the ingredients are clearly at the heart of the chef's vision. 05/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, unfortunately a little late in our stay. Excellent restaurant. We ate dinner on the shaded terrace...it was lovely and breezy 👍 We had made a reservation, which was necessary, as both the terrace and the indoor dining room were full! We had an "Éclade de moules" (mussels baked in a scallop shell) served with homemade fries. The staff and owner were attentive and helpful. We'll be back 🚲 next year! I highly recommend it.

The staff were very welcoming and professional, and a special mention to Simon the bartender who gave us excellent advice on the different cocktails! The food was beautifully presented and expertly prepared! The setting was magnificent, right on the water! I highly recommend it!

21/11/2025: A restaurant very close to the port...but in a quiet location. As its name suggests, you can enjoy a delicious meal at a very reasonable price in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone at our table loved the tagines...and I loved the French toast, though it wasn't for everyone! The chocolate mousse was excellent, according to others! The wine was very good and reasonably priced. Go without hesitation!

22/07/2026: Such a lovely find in La Rochelle! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. They have the best cheese naan I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few! 🤭). I also really appreciated that they were happy to adjust the spice level to exactly how I wanted it. The waiter is so welcoming and the whole experience was great. I can’t wait to come back and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian food!

21/07/2026: A new place we discovered during our vacation. The meal was very good, very generous, and very reasonably priced! The only problem arose when we received a tray of sauces with a very long hair in it. The waiter immediately replaced it, but unfortunately, there was still a hair on the new tray. It's a shame, as we weren't able to try all the sauces. Despite this minor inconvenience, the meal was very good. The waiter was very kind, responsive, and helpful. I recommend this establishment!

28/06/2026: I've been going to Le Pas Sage for several years now, and I've never been disappointed. From the atmosphere and the food to the friendly staff and the location itself, I'm always delighted. In fact, it's become a ritual. Every time I go to Royan, the first restaurant I visit is always Le Pas Sage. The Panko shrimp are to die for, although a bit pricey. The Makizza is definitely the star dish in my opinion; it's so excellent. The burgers are all delicious, and the burger of the moment is often outstanding. The pasta dishes are generous, and it's true that the quality, quantity, and price of the other dishes are perfectly balanced. And finally, how can I not mention the cookie, which is simply divine! In short, I'd say that Le Pas Sage reflects its owner and staff. It's a place where you feel good, you love coming back, and the only regret is when you have to leave. But luckily, we always return. And the new decor is fantastic! You always have excellent taste in this area. Well done, and see you very soon!

19/07/2026: Extremely satisfied! A small restaurant right on the beach, with a shaded terrace and air conditioning. The savory and sweet crepes were excellent and generously filled with delicious ingredients. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

28/06/2026: A bit of a disappointment as we booked based on Google reviews… The frozen fries and the cooked mussels were nothing special 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was also very noisy if you're looking for peace and quiet 😉 The welcome was pleasant.
