Delicious, generous portions, and beautifully presented, all at very attractive prices, especially considering the quality of the welcome and service. A very pleasant surprise every time! 😋 And then… a special mention to this team of elegant young men, who cultivate a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere. 😉 Natural elegance, a warm welcome, and a lovely way of hosting… Personally, I'm a fan! 01/09/2026: A very bad experience. The welcome (apparently from the manager) was extremely unfriendly (a first for me in any restaurant). The food was disastrous (the dishes weren't even finished, which speaks volumes about the lack of quality): in particular, the vegetables were a tasteless, mixed salad, and the meat and fish were cooked poorly. Out of all my numerous restaurant reviews, this is the first time I've given such a low rating, which is a shame (there's a first time for everything).

On the downside, the two waiters lacked professionalism and didn't pay enough attention to customer requests. Nevertheless, I recommend this restaurant for the chef alone.

21/06/2026: We ate at this small restaurant, which had a beautiful and tastefully decorated interior. We received a very warm welcome from the staff. We ordered the €38 set menu per person (starter, main course, cheese, dessert). The cuisine was refined, and we were particularly impressed by the sausage terrine. The flavor was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The only slight drawback was that the dishes were a little lukewarm. We recommend stopping by for a meal when you're in La Rochelle.

20/06/2026: We came for lunch today and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we mentioned that I was gluten-free. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was adapted to my dietary restrictions at no extra charge, and always with a smile, which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The dishes were excellent, the service was quick and attentive, and the entire team was very friendly and welcoming. A truly great place with excellent value for money.
