18/04/2026: We had dinner at Le Pierre Loti and had a wonderful time! The dishes were absolutely delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. We enjoyed every bite. The value for money is truly exceptional, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. A big thank you also to Mathilde, who was remarkably kind, spoke perfectly, and was incredibly welcoming. Smiling, attentive… a real pleasure! We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

I'm grateful to the team who have shown great kindness and special attention to my dietary restrictions. Beyond the impeccable quality, the place has a real soul: each visit is an enchanting interlude in a soothing green setting, a moment outside of time. A rare find that I warmly recommend!

10/02/2026: I came for a business trip and I'm delighted to have discovered this charming and relaxing hotel. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the dinner is good, and the service is impeccable. The room is spacious and comfortable; I slept very well. Breakfast included homemade jams, although it's a shame the orange juice was store-bought. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I also enjoyed a treatment with Elisa, and I sincerely recommend her to everyone—she has magic hands! In short, as someone who travels a lot, I'm thrilled with my stay here and I'll gladly return if I have the chance.

03/04/2026: We dined at this restaurant in August 2024 to celebrate a family birthday. We had booked several weeks in advance for six people. A few days before the scheduled date, we informed the restaurant that there would ultimately be only four of us: two of the people, who were very elderly, had to cancel due to illness. They were regular customers of this restaurant. The manager then told us that it wasn't possible to change the reservation for four people because the table was large, designed to seat six, and that if we wanted to keep our reservation, we could come as a group of four, but he would add 10% of the bill per missing person, as it would represent a significant loss of revenue for him. We were hesitant but accepted his proposal for practical reasons and also because we usually enjoyed going to this restaurant. On the day, the table, which was supposed to seat six people, was only the normal size for four diners. It wouldn't have been able to accommodate anyone else. In short, greed at its most despicable. We will never set foot in that establishment again. It took me a while to write this review because, since then, the two people who were unable to join us for that birthday dinner have passed away. But I felt compelled to express my disgust.

If the restaurant is full, don't hesitate to put your name on the waiting list; it works. We'll be returning.

02/04/2026: Reservation for 12:45 PM, order taken 20 minutes later. The table on the right was cleared to make room for a couple with a teenager, two people were seated on the left, and the couple on the right were also served. Our dishes arrived last. The service was deplorable; the wait was far too long, so we didn't get dessert. Avoid this place for the first time.

30/03/2026: An excellent place, lovely buffet, and high-quality food. We had the rare ribeye steak, excellent meat cooked to perfection. For dessert, the mille-feuille was very good, crispy, and well-balanced. We learned they have a pastry chef, and it shows. To top it all off, the staff are fantastic and incredibly friendly. Well done to everyone! Don't hesitate to go!

24/04/2026: I highly recommend having lunch or dinner at Le Fumoir d'Angoulins, which we tried last night. Claire and Vincent welcome you to a unique spot in Angoulins, a cabin in the marshes. A fantastic place, and the food is excellent. We recommend the falafel platter and the sea bream tartare; the rest of the menu is very promising as well. They also sell all kinds of smoked fish and oysters directly from their neighbor's producer. Go there; the sunset is magnificent. Fabienne and Eric

04/03/2026: We stopped at a random spot on the road. This restaurant, popular with local workers, is clean and the food is simple but very good for a very competitive price. The service is incredibly efficient. €14 for a set menu (main course and dessert) €18 for unlimited appetizers from the buffet, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee, and a quarter-liter of wine. No complaints!
