The back room is lovely with a beautiful mural...a Mucha-inspired design.

The service was sorely lacking; it was incredibly slow.
Starters were served at the same time as those who only ordered a main course… a shame.
Tables were reset (end of service), but not cleared… we waited ages.
No coffee was offered.
The waiter didn't know how to set the cutlery correctly.
The food was good, but the presentation was mediocre; the salad in the starters was swimming in dressing.
That's it…

04/02/2026: I'm writing this review because this is the third time it hasn't looked like the photos and reviews. The burger is unsatisfactory. It doesn't hold together, the bun is too thin so it falls apart. There's far too much iceberg lettuce, the sauce is bland, and the beef is overcooked. One star for the fries!

15/02/2026: Friendly staff, but they work in the kitchen in jogging pants without uniforms. From the moment we opened: dirty floor, dirty tables, and extremely dirty toilets. Floor littered with toilet paper and smelling strongly of urine.
14/02/2026: Well-located restaurant, good atmosphere, minor drawbacks: undercooked fries, not-very-crispy nuggets, slippery floor, and signage put up a bit too late after a customer fell.

03/10/2025: We went to the door after seeing the good reviews on Google. Once there, at 7 p.m., we waited more than 30 minutes: still closed. The hours are not indicated on Google or on the door (just "open lunch and dinner" without any details). We also called, without answer. Passing through La Rochelle, we were disappointed not to have been able to try it.

It's advertised as *homemade fries*, but they were frozen.
And let's not even talk about the toilets.
I think if I'd noticed that first, I wouldn't have even ordered.
Often, that's a good indicator of the state of the establishment!
In short, once is enough.

12/11/2025: Kudos to the chef who had the brilliant idea of combining pumpkin and baked eggs! The dish was delicious.
And the fig clafoutis was divine, not to mention the discovery of a local dessert, jonchée.
