15/10/2026: A truly beautiful setting! We had a wonderful meal. There was a bit of a wait, but at least you could tell the food wasn't just reheated! 😉 The restaurant is large, yet there are only three or four of them managing everything! Despite this, the welcome was incredibly warm, with kind and pleasant staff. Well done to the whole team! And a huge plus for us: we were able to bring our dog, regardless of the dining room. This was a truly thoughtful touch and deserves to be highlighted! 🐶❤️ A fantastic experience, we'll definitely be back!

29/08/2026: I'm talking about the nightclub, not the restaurant: The welcome was about as pleasant as getting your teeth pulled without anesthesia... The bouncers were about as friendly as a prison door... A real treat... Luckily we were with someone, because paying €60 and being received like that on your first visit is a bit of a turn-off.

28/08/2026: The restaurant is amazing. But the nightclub section really leaves something to be desired. Dirty restrooms. Excessively expensive cocktails that aren't very good. And as for the music, I wondered if it was a DJ or a jukebox providing the entertainment.

15/10/2026: The service was just okay; one or two smiles were better than nothing. As for the food, I'd rather not even mention it, but there are definitely things that need improvement. The sushi was hard and not even tasty. There was a good selection at the buffet, but the quality was completely lacking. It's a shame because I have fond memories of it. I used to eat there very often when I was younger. It's changed a lot...

06/08/2026: I've always been a big fan of La Mie Câline, but lately, the quality and the in-store experience have really declined, and it's no longer a pleasant place to shop. The young employees are certainly nice, but it's clear they aren't adequately trained: they don't know the products and aren't comfortable managing the display. The sandwich labels are still out of stock, and when you ask them for details about the ingredients, they can't answer and sometimes have to open the products to check. On two occasions, I bought a sandwich that was still frozen inside. I want to emphasize: not just cold, but actually frozen. Even if some products are prepared in advance and frozen, they should be properly thawed before being sold. The organization also leaves much to be desired. Better staff training is really needed, especially regarding product knowledge and managing the display inventory. I agree with a comment I read about a tuna sandwich: I recently had a salmon sandwich, and there was literally only one slice of salmon. Now, I don't enjoy them at all. Between the still-frozen ingredients and the bread being so hard it's difficult to eat, the experience is no longer satisfactory.

10/07/2026: With the high temperatures and products left on display all day, the risk of food poisoning is high. I bought a sandwich yesterday evening around 6 pm and I was sick all day. Thanks a lot 👍

16/08/2026: I stayed at this "hotel" and my impression is terrible. It's worse than a hostel. Showers and shared bathrooms. The rooms were so hot they didn't allow for a decent night's sleep. There was no air conditioning in the room, only two large towels for the shower. There wasn't even a fancy bar in the room. There was no reception, but to access your room keys you had to enter the code in the safe located in front of the hotel. They didn't ask for any identification upon our arrival. I don't know how this can be called a HOTEL. I strongly advise against booking!!!

09/09/2026: It's a shame I have to give one star because this establishment and its staff don't deserve it. Seated on the terrace, we ordered a snack, but when it came time to pay, we were firmly informed that the card wasn't accepted for orders under €10, without any prior notice. Their suggestion: order something else?! I'll let you be the judge of their methods! It's a shame that such practices, and especially the staff's attitude, tarnish the island's image.

02/09/2026: So, unfortunately, we're joining the ranks of the previous negative reviews, and they deserve it. The waitress and the person behind the bar forcefully, with a level of aggression bordering on verbal abuse, insist on paying in cash for two coffees because they only accept cash for amounts under €10. This forces you to ask someone else to pay by running off to find an ATM. This is typical of a tourist trap; if you don't want tourists, you should behave like them. It's a shame for this beautiful island, and thankfully not all businesses are so unpleasant. We absolutely do not recommend it.

27/08/2026: The ice cream was truly tasteless for the price… the Kinder ice cream tasted like nothing, the white chocolate tasted like marshmallows, and the speculoos was bad. It's a shame because the location is great and the service is fast. A simple change of ice cream supplier would make a big difference.

25/08/2026: The ice cream is supposedly homemade but has no taste, and the waffles aren't good either. For the price, it's a rip-off.

22/10/2026: The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Over an hour's wait, overwhelmed staff, cold food that wasn't what I ordered. I'll never set foot in there again.

21/10/2026: Disastrous personal experience, unpleasant... He forgot to give me the sauces I paid for, and when I asked for them, he brushed me off.

03/10/2026: I stopped by for lunch today; the restaurant was very clean, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was piping hot.

02/10/2026: They have no respect for customers; they get orders wrong and refuse to give the correct burger. The woman who works there is awful.

04/09/2026: We ordered three ice creams late one evening to enjoy while strolling around La Rochelle, and they were excellent! We don't understand the negative reviews at all. The various flavors we ordered—melon, pistachio, Smurf, cotton candy, rocky road, and vanilla—were better than in 90% of the ice cream shops we've ever been to. We highly recommend it!

02/09/2026: I'm not going to be too harsh about this ice cream parlour but I have to agree with some of the other reviews.The ice creams look amazing which tempts you but my family and I didn't think there was much flavour.Maybe we just chose ice cream that weren't that flavoursome.

14/09/2026: ⚠️ LIARS!!! STAY AWAY!!! I bought some cakes on September 14th. I specifically asked the saleswoman if the products were fresh and from that day. She assured me they were and even said they would "never" be products from the day before or two days prior. When I got home, I discovered the dates September 11th and September 12th under the cakes 🤡. Selling products that are several days old and presenting them as fresh is simply unacceptable. It's wrong to lie 🤥

08/08/2026: Excellent bakery! I had three mini fougasse with minced meat, a large coffee, and an orange liqueur, all for only €5.30. I received a very warm welcome; the owner was very friendly. If you're in the area, go there—it's a real change from Parisian prices!
