29/08/2026: I can't give zero stars, so I'm giving one. The waitress was incredibly rude. I ordered mussels and fries, and they still hadn't arrived after an hour, while all the other tables around me were being served. The waiters didn't even look at the dining room, and after several requests, there was no apology or explanation. I left without eating, feeling sick to my stomach! Disgusting! Absolutely avoid this place.

14/08/2026: A wooded and flowery campsite located near the forest in a fairly hilly area – lots of hills: something to keep in mind (walkers, cyclists... if you're not very athletic, this is important). Very well maintained, with a friendly team at reception, the bar, and in maintenance. They were very responsive; we had two power outages in our mobile home, which were quickly resolved, and a burnt-out lightbulb was changed in 5 minutes! Dog friendly! Our Golden Retriever was well received, but unfortunately, the coastline of the entire region isn't dog friendly! There are no nearby beaches where dogs are allowed, even in the evening (you have to defy the rules and go to smaller, less supervised beaches). For us, this was a real drawback – no long evening walks with the family by the water! Luckily, our day trip to Île d'Oléron allowed us a proper evening at the beach with our dog. Our mobile home: It was a privately owned mobile home (I found out too late; I don't like renting from private individuals). Clean (despite a dirty pair of underwear under the mattress of one of the children's beds), the interior was fine except for the bedding, which was disastrous. It really needs replacing; none of us slept comfortably! On the other hand, the exterior wasn't really to my taste: a lot of decorations, all kinds of lamps, rugs, mismatched flooring, and a small wooden terrace cluttered with an outdoor kitchen... (I prefer a minimalist decor to feel a bit more at home). The swimming pool: Perfect, a very decent size, always clean and supervised. The campsite offers activities for children and adults, which I won't comment on as we didn't participate. The snack bar, La Paillote: We ate well there several times. It's true that the hill is quite tiring when you drive up it several times a day. The beaches are right across the road; they're really beautiful, but you can tell they're at the estuary, so the water is very sandy. Just step outside the campsite and walk for 5 minutes. The village of Meschers is charming, close to St. Georges de Didonne, Royan, and Talmont (don't miss it!).

08/08/2026: We spent a week as a family at Camping Les Loges. Unfortunately, in our opinion, this campsite doesn't really live up to its 5-star rating. The swimming pool is far too small for a campsite of this category, and we expected much better. The evening entertainment was also quite disappointing, especially for children. We've stayed at other campsites, and the evening entertainment offered was much more interesting, varied, and well-organized. We also found the staff to be very discreet, almost too discreet: sometimes it felt like there was hardly anyone in the campsite. It lacked a bit of atmosphere and energy. The campsite is also quite hilly, which isn't very practical with young children. Despite everything, we had a good week as a family and enjoyed our vacation. But to be honest, we won't be returning to this campsite. For an establishment advertised as 5-star, we expected much more entertainment and a lively atmosphere.

30/08/2026: Turbot fillet swimming in butter, sole with pasta served haphazardly without any seasoning, glasses of lukewarm white and rosé wine – no need to elaborate, we went to eat dessert elsewhere...

16/08/2026: Excellent pizza, perfectly cooked and generously topped, and the owner is super friendly and smiling – a real pleasure! A great pizzeria to try, keep up the excellent work!!

05/08/2026: Fresh salmon pizza? It looks more like diced Alaska pollock. I preferred not to eat it since I don't know what kind of fish it could be, but it's certainly not fresh salmon. By the way, Madam, would it be possible to know the actual ingredients of the pizza? My son ate a slice to see what it tasted like, and even he couldn't tell me. I hope he doesn't get sick... While on vacation in the area, I absolutely do not recommend it. It's such a shame to take people for fools like that... I much prefer to support small businesses during my holidays rather than always spending money in overly touristy places. It's such a shame... My advice to you: if the cost of salmon is too high for your establishment, remove this pizza from the menu.

27/05/2026: If you want a great meal, this is the place to stop! I've been under construction in the area for about two months, and I eat here every lunchtime. Never a single mistake in the kitchen! Meat and omelets are always cooked perfectly. The pizzas are generous and delicious. I especially love the fish and chips and the Saint-Marcellin fondue. The service is always excellent, with a smile and friendly service! They're always responsive and attentive to their customers. Thank you so much, please don't change a thing! Luckily, I'm still under construction in the area for a little while longer.

25/05/2026: I never miss the pleasure of stopping for a coffee when I go shopping because it's a friendly place and I always enjoy going back; the owner and staff are lovely people.
