22/07/2026: It's too long. A shame for a McDonald's.

19/07/2026: I'm fed up with this McDonald's... always cold and the staff are unfriendly... I went through the drive-thru at 4:55 PM and there was a car in front of me. We waited over 15 minutes for a warm Coke, fries, and a cold hamburger. Just because you're the world leader doesn't mean you can treat people like this... it's outrageous and unacceptable at your Puilboreau location...

07/07/2026: They left me locked in this box, don't come here if you don't want to get drugged and be wanted all over the island by the police!!

05/07/2026: The music wasn't engaging and there was no atmosphere. The entrance fee was excessive considering what was offered.

06/04/2026: Dish of the day €12, a free-range chicken with fries, very well served. I'll be back.

11/06/2026: Avoid at all costs. This is the first time we've ever thrown away ice cream. The blood orange and lemon flavors were inedible (tasted like lemon peel!), and the Snickers and Cookies were just plain bad and mass-produced.

31/05/2026: One star because I can't give less. The welcome was icy cold, to say the least. I ordered a crepe and was told they didn't make crepes. My friend then asked if they were only making crepes today or if they would never make them at all. The response: yes, but there would be a 10-minute wait. And after 10 minutes, the result was an inedible crepe, hard as a rock. At €4.50 a crepe, this is unacceptable. Even after remaking it, the same thing happened... Very disappointed.

21/07/2026: A disgrace, disgusting ice cream, if you can even call it ice cream.

16/07/2026: The ice cream is excellent, that's not the issue, but the quantity-price ratio needs improvement; €4 for a scoop in season for a tiny tub is outrageous, especially considering they're only €3.80 at Ernest... Furthermore, the quality of service leaves much to be desired, with a hypocritical pricing policy; the ice cream is listed at €3.50, but apparently it's €4 at the till... The manager's reaction when this is pointed out—throwing the change on the floor—is not very encouraging for a future visit.

12/07/2026: The service was appalling, and the owner was consistently rude to the staff, who were undoubtedly seasonal and therefore unprofessional. I cut short this very disappointing experience. Royan offers much better options. My neighbor sent his plate of raw fish back home!

11/07/2026: I ordered a mussel marinière without onions, in the end there was no sauce, only water, and therefore far too many skulls in the mussels.

01/06/2026: The owner is really unpleasant; you get the feeling you're bothering him at all hours. The crepes are very expensive. However, the service is fast 👍

17/05/2026: During a stroll, we stumbled into this restaurant quite by chance. At first glance, we found the owner very reserved and not very friendly, but we ordered two beers and two salads. While we waited, I checked the reviews... It was a disaster! I only read negative ones 🤔. Oh well, we'll see... The salads arrived, and what a surprise! They were beautiful, generously filled, and delicious! And then I thought to myself that people can be really difficult, even unkind, because okay, the owner might be a bit gruff, but small talk and smiles don't fill stomachs, whereas generous portions do! What's more, we were greeted with "hello, thank you, goodbye, have a nice day." If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly go back to this restaurant.

29/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! I ordered a Mister Crousty on Uber Eats and this is what I received. It's disappointing!!

15/02/2026: I picked up my "Too Good To Go" order, but the food was cold, the rice was dried out from the day before, the dishes were tasteless, and the fried food was hard and dry... I threw away more than half of it. Definitely avoid this place.

13/06/2026: The service on the terrace was terrible. The service was catastrophic, and the staff's friendliness needs improvement—they were a bit selfish and rushed. And the cocktails! Don't even get me started. It's a disgrace to offer such bad cocktails! They shouldn't even have them on the menu if that's what they're going to serve. Lunch was a disaster—very cold, and the salmon with rice was served with just water. The salmon and rice dish was watery and truly disgusting, and the salmon was overcooked and unappetizing. The entire service, including the meals, needs to be reviewed. The potatoes were undercooked, and there was a lack of sauce and spices. It had no flavor. Etc., etc. Never again.
