02/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! This family-run Italian restaurant has everything we love: a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and generous, flavorful dishes. You can immediately feel the family spirit and the desire to do things well. The pasta and pizza were excellent, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was attentive from beginning to end. A place where you feel comfortable and want to return. I highly recommend it!

We were a bit cramped with the other tables; it would be great if the tables could be spaced out a bit more, even if it meant removing one or two.

17/02/2026: I discovered Le Fossile several years ago, and it has definitely become a must-visit on every trip to Strasbourg. It possesses a traditional charm that blends perfectly with home-style cooking and evokes the best memories, far beyond fleeting trends. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. The foie gras and snails are exquisite. Their signature dish, the hanger steak, prepared in all its forms, is a marvel. The icing on the cake: the Armagnac collection (dating back to 1912!!) is the perfect finishing touch for any evening—a little insider tip: ask for your birth year. I can only guarantee one thing: I will be back again and again.

18/02/2026: A very intimate setting, on a small street in Strasbourg. There are only a few tables, which allows for a level of attention from the owner that I've never experienced before. He takes the time to chat with you, is very pleasant, and asks if everything is alright. We had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious and perfectly portioned. And it's excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!

03/03/2026: I came twice for a sandwich and was disappointed both times. The pieces of bread are so huge you could practically put a stick of butter directly in the bread, and on top of that, the quality of the ingredients is really disappointing. The ham was awful; I had to cut it into small pieces, and there wasn't even half a slice left. The first time, I thought it wasn't anything special, but now I'm done. I'll never get a sandwich there again. On the other hand, the pastries and cakes are good. It would be great if they could improve the quality of the sandwich ingredients, as there aren't many other options in Andlau for a snack.

18/01/2026: Really nice selection of patisserie, biscuit, bread or lunch savoury snacks (quiche, onion tart, etc). Everything looks homemade and yummy. We tried some of the bûches with kirsch, Black Forest or the St Honore, excellent. Bought some Xmas Bredele that were delicious. You can eat & drink onsite for a little extra cost on each item. Helpful and welcoming staff.

08/04/2026: Pleasant setting, friendly staff. Very generous portion, it's a shame you can't choose a mix of two toppings without an extra charge. I recommend it.

08/04/2026: It was an absolutely delicious evening at Fischerstub. We had an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and every dish was superbly prepared and beautifully presented. We especially recommend the "Dörelei" beer, which was suggested to us by the server and was truly delicious. The service was consistently attentive and very accommodating, and they were even able to advise us in German, which made the evening even more relaxing. Overall, a very successful evening; we would gladly return and highly recommend the restaurant.
