05/09/2024: We spent a superb family weekend at Le Cheval Blanc. Welcome by the Zinck family. We stayed in the Alsatian house which has 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is modern, clean, pleasant and very comfortable (jacuzzi, terrace and soon the sauna) The hotel is suitable for children (swimming pool, playground, Ping Pong, chess, library, mini golf, etc.) We took half board. Perfect and very varied breakfast. The evening meal taken at the restaurant was just incredible and very tasteful. The Zinck family and the staff are very kind, they took great care of us and we had special attention for our children. We had a pleasant stay, we recommend it and we will return soon 😊

22/08/2024: After our trip to Europapark we decided to have dinner in this restaurant. A warm welcome, with a big smile in a magnificent setting. Excellent cuisine, friendly and responsive service! Local specialties that change from the South where I come from! A treat, the Abdelstrudel dessert (lol I don’t remember the exact name). To conclude a good time. Arnaud

21/07/2024: On arrival we headed to the covered terrace. Tarte flambée with aperitif served a little late but nothing serious. No non-smoking area on the terrace, we ate our tarte flambée with the smell of cigarettes. To follow, a ham out of stock, I fell back on a veal skewer. The 50cl pitcher of wine will be brought to us just when we have finished the meal. Water meal in every sense of the word. We were at the table of 21 just under the joint of the 2 parasols. (To prevent rain from falling between the parasols there are flaps with self-adhesive tape which are not put on) In the middle of the meal a good downpour, our table was cut in two by the rain! As best we could, we moved aside and stuck to the gentleman behind my husband to finish the meal; In the end we abandon the idea of ​​a dessert and we go home....my back is wet Disappointed

12/09/2024: Restaurant Le Kuhn was on my "want to go" list, and I also chose it out of convenience since it was close to my hotel. I had come from touring the Black Forest and, upon arriving in Alsace, I immediately noticed the difference in the cuisine... and in the French effusiveness! I really liked chatting about everyday topics with the waiter, everything was very pleasant. For lunch, we ordered a Flammenkueche classique, the classic Alsatian "pizza", a filet de boeuf Rossini (suggestion of the day, which came with pepper sauce when I expected it to be grilled), and a veal (veal) schnitzel with sauce of mushrooms. Both dishes came with fries as I understood, although I missed that accompaniment in my steak, I felt somewhat forgotten in that detail! For dessert, we opted for an iced kougelhopf, which looked incredible (I got carried away by the name and its appearance), but in the end its flavor did not live up to the visual expectation. We accompany everything with a green tea and a coffee. In short, the food was good, with some surprises, especially with the filet de boeuf, but it was a pleasant experience, even more so with the friendly attention of the waiter. A nice ending to a day of exploration!

08/09/2024: The food was very well cooked, and special requests such as a hearty starter as dessert were no problem :-) The menu is available in several languages. The service was attentive and courteous.

21/08/2024: Redécouvrir par hasard le restaurant après l'avoir délaissé quelques années. Ce fut avec un grand plaisir. Petite carte, des suggestions, produits frais, plats bien cuisinés, bien servis, personnel souriant et serviable qui connait sa carte, rapport Qualite / Prix ok. Bref : BRAVO et à bientôt !!

11/06/2024: Excellent séjour avec un accueil très chaleureux; la chambre était parfaite. Il ne manque rien : très bien équipée, spacieuse, très propre et très calme. L'endroit est super pour passer une soirée au Royal Palace. Ne pas oublier de visiter Bouxwiller. On recommande vivement cet établissement. Merci patron !

01/09/2024: After booking a table in person in the morning for the same day's evening, we arrived on time to a rude waiter (the same one we talked to earlier) who tells us that they don't take reservations. I can't recommend it. We certainly did not stay. Note: we're native French, so language is not a barrier. It's just a case of lack of professionalism and respect.

01/09/2024: Une jolie winstub, une cuisine alsacienne pur jus, des plats bien maîtrisés, un service léger et bien agréable. Le lieu est un peu retiré des sentiers touristiques et pourtant tout proche. Bien plus agréable en tous points aux lieux de restauration de la petite France où on est coincés comme des sardines. Arrêtez vous ici, le rapport qualité prix est correct en plus.
