16/08/2026: I had discovered Bloom on social media, and their brunches looked really tempting. Being from Montpellier and passing through Strasbourg, I really wanted to try it, especially since it was the morning of my birthday. So I arrived around 11:00 AM and ordered a coffee and a pastrami bagel. Unfortunately, the bagel was simply inedible: extremely hard, to the point that I was hitting it with my knife and it was making a noise. So I took it back. They explained that it had probably been in the oven too long. This explanation doesn't seem plausible to me: if it had been in the oven too long, it would at least have been warm. But it was cold and extremely hard. I find this justification hard to believe. I think it was more likely from the day before. They offered to replace it, but I refused because I didn't feel like eating anymore. I simply paid for my coffee and left. The hygiene needs improvement, and the terrace wasn't tidy; the chairs were piled on top of each other in a corner. In short, once is enough. It's a real shame, because I'd seen Bloom on social media and had a very good impression of it. I came from Montpellier eager to discover the place and have a good time. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations.

13/08/2026: The terrace is very nice and the menu has many healthy options. I had the power bowl which was good with an original recipe, it just needed a little more sauce and the wait was a negative point.

24/08/2026: Special evening with all-you-can-eat frog legs, a pure delight, 3 sauces to choose from, pure bliss!

21/07/2026: Nothing to complain about, everything was excellent. We were with friends and the staff were great and very accommodating. I would gladly return.

14/08/2026: The food was okay, and sitting on the terrace outside was quite pleasant, but the service—I'm sorry to say—was truly frustrating. Inattentive, slow; you get the feeling they're deliberately ignoring you. Furthermore, it's extremely odd that a "vegetarian plate" includes fish and seafood.

14/08/2026: Very slow, inattentive service. The vegetarian plate contained prawns and salmon, even though we had previously stated that it was difficult to find vegetarian options on the menu.

06/09/2026: The seating was lovely, the service was quick and attentive, and the beer was well-poured. We didn't eat there!

28/08/2026: Hello, we stopped by today for a drink and were treated poorly. Since we were with our small dog, the waitress, who didn't seem particularly busy, told us (no dogs allowed)????? We're on vacation and we frequent this place every time we come to Saverne; the last time was in April. This is the first time we've ever had this kind of remark made to us...!!!!! So, never again.

28/12/2025: The lady was super kind and nice, and the hotel in general was good. The room was big enough and clean, and there is a backyard where you can park your car. There were two small things we didn’t like, however: 1. Since it is a pet-friendly hotel, you may sometimes hear dogs barking during the night. 2. There was no trash bin in the toilet, and the toilet and bathroom were separate, which was a bit inconvenient.

11/12/2025: I went to lunch at the Notre Dame restaurant and ordered a Bibelesskas. I was frankly disappointed; it was just a small bowl of potatoes, two pieces of ham that were mostly fat, and two pieces of Black Forest cake. It's 5 PM and I'm already cooking because I'm so hungry. A dish like this should be much more substantial.

28/07/2026: Inn run by Clara and Sébastien. Excellent daily special. An inn we love to return to for the vol-au-vent, one of Sébastien's specialties. The bread is delicious. My favorite dessert is the ice cream with blueberry coulis.

26/07/2026: Disaster. We wanted to have a drink on the terrace after a hike. Since it didn't look like anyone was coming to take our order, we went inside. We were very rudely told to leave and wait outside until they came. The door was already locked behind us to prevent any other guests from entering – even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. Of course, no one came. We left, thirsty. The rudest service we've experienced in all of Alsace (even though we spoke good French).

29/08/2026: A lovely restaurant. The setting is very pleasant, right by the water, with accordion music playing in the background, and the Petite France district is a must-see in Strasbourg. The waitress was professional and friendly.

19/08/2026: The place is very nice, located along the river, but the food isn't great. The pasta was overcooked and the meat (rump steak) was tough and rubbery. Maybe salads or flambéed cakes are better here, but not the food. A place that thrives on its location. P

17/07/2026: If I could give zero stars for the waiter's friendliness, I would—this is my second time here and he's still just as rude.

08/07/2026: We sat outside, the food and coffee were excellent. The service was fast and it was in a great location.

16/06/2026: The restaurant service is appalling; we waited an hour at lunchtime even though we were among the first to arrive. The place is very noisy, and the smell of old carpet hits you as soon as you walk in. The food is relatively good, but it really depends on the dish… Other restaurants in the area are very good, and the atmosphere is much better. Honestly, I don't recommend it.

19/05/2026: This is our second time eating at this otherwise good restaurant, although one of the waitresses is always incredibly unpleasant and unfriendly to customers. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

23/08/2026: Free time during River cruise shore excursion and sought lunch. At Cafe Stein we didn’t partake in bakery, but the daily lunch special. So we didn’t partake not enter the building beyond the front order counter, we used sidewalk table seating. I attempted a couple of times to use my very poor French, which they seemed to appreciate my futile effort so if you visit do the same and you will likely get a tad more personal response. Else likely a more curt reply. Hint here. Had chicken steak platter, potato chips, English salad with side dressing, bread appetizer, colas. A nice sampling of a lite local cuisine not had on the River cruise boat. Merci!

06/05/2026: Perfect as always. Super friendly staff, very clean, and amazing breakfast. They even had a coffee machine and capsules in the room. 💝

05/05/2026: Hotel a 10-minute drive from Strasbourg's Petit France neighborhood. Very close to the noisy highway, fortunately we were assigned newly renovated rooms at the back. Connecting rooms, perfect for our family! Really comfortable and quiet. However, they are small, fine for a one-night stopover. Abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, with fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. The espresso from the vending machine was good. The staff was kind and very helpful. Excellent prices. Need I say more?!

21/07/2026: We sat on the terrace before reading the reviews. We were then very pleasantly surprised. The service wasn't top-notch, but everything was reasonably quick and the food (we had a cordon bleu and a tarte flambée) was delicious.

20/07/2026: I should have checked the reviews first. My stomach didn't like it.
