20/09/2025: So it's still just as good, very high quality, and local 😋
The only downside was that we were seated upstairs on the partially covered and enclosed terrace, which wasn't very nice and where we were cold.
The downstairs room is great, why not open it up? 🤔
17/09/2025: Always such a warm welcome, and above all, the meals are excellent, with sophisticated dishes... I love it, and my friends will be back too.

14/09/2026: What a disappointment! It doesn't even deserve one star. The food was truly awful! Where has the quality gone that we used to enjoy? And the prices? Don't even get me started—they reflect the poor quality of the service: bad, very expensive. We saw the chef turning customers away based on their arrival time (and perhaps his mood?!). Everything needs to be rethought; what a shame.
10/09/2026: Nice establishment. Warm and relaxed welcome.
Our meal choices: pork loin and fries. This is where things get complicated. The pork loin was nothing more than a plain, overcooked pork chop, and the fries were served in a tiny, sample-sized portion.
The term "bistronomic" only applies to the price of the dishes, certainly not to the actual food or its quality. I am extremely disappointed.

Very nice and atteintive waiters: Damian, Charles and especially Hugo that made some jokes with us about the IPA beer 🤭. So Hugo, let's keep in mind that Indian Pale Ale 🤗. Don't miss the Fox Den or la Taniere de Renard.

If you're lucky, try the ceviche of the day!
20/04/2026: Since the butcher's cut was flank steak, I ordered a Mont Blanc tartare. Disappointment! There was just a tiny bit of ham on top (see photo).
I also ordered a mille-feuille 🤐
Disappointed compared to last year.
I no longer eat at Grands Montets; I plan half-day trips and eat in Chamonix.
I lose a bit of time, but I prefer it.
€45 for a bad meal.
The owner's explanation: it's the end of the season 😡

22/08/2026: We arrived at 7:55 PM and looked at the beer menu, which was €9 a pint, by the way. Then we saw happy hour: €7 until 8:00 PM. Great! We ordered, and the waiter handed me the card reader at 8:01 PM precisely to pay. Then he said, "Oh well, happy hour's over, there's nothing I can do!" Not very nice, especially since we were regulars. Plus, the owner walking by without even a glance or a hello is really unacceptable. Not sure we'll be back...
