After delicately passing the information to the manager, he literally insulted him for eating my salad and offered it back to me without even changing it in front of me! 12/03/2026: The welcome was very average. The service was extremely fast. We quickly realized we had to leave the table when we announced we weren't having dessert! They refused payment by card, restaurant voucher, and holiday voucher. And finally, be careful with the door, as our daughter hurt herself leaving. In short, I do not recommend this restaurant!

14/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel with our children and grandchildren. We stayed in Apartment No. 2. This apartment is designed to accommodate up to 10 people. There's really only one bedroom upstairs. There are two not-quite-separate areas with two sofa beds. Downstairs, behind the living room area, there's an alcove. It's stifling. In this living room area, there's another sofa bed. The skylights in the bedrooms don't have built-in blinds. This is extremely annoying in the morning during the height of summer. It's equally annoying because they prevent the sun from letting heat into the apartment. There's only one bathroom with a toilet. There's no separate toilet for the bathroom, given the number of people this apartment can accommodate. I don't think that's a good idea. The shower head is completely clogged with limescale. In fact, the other faucets are too. Our children arrived before us. They told us the cleaning wasn't great. I realized this very quickly upon our arrival. The front door handle wasn't tightened properly. Both screws were ready to fall off. The stovetop, the cupboard above it, and the microwave are in a pitiful state. In the cutlery drawer, there's a tea towel. It's in a more than shameful state. You have to wonder if it's clean. The bathroom is just as pitiful. The door is no longer white. It has no lock. The door latch is ripped off. The front of what looks like a drawer under the sink is ripped off. In the kitchen-dining area, some chairs are in a terrible state. One table is extremely dangerous. Under the top, there are lag screws in the corners to reinforce the legs. These lag screws protrude dangerously. They have been casually camouflaged with wine bottle corks. We don't understand at all how this type of accommodation can still be rented and be called an "aparthotel." We don't understand how this type of establishment can accommodate guests. There is a real lack of professionalism. No checks are carried out between each tenant. These checks could and should be done during the cleaning operation. For us, this is a real disgrace. We will never return to this place. A place to avoid absolutely.

18/07/2025: The apartment was clean and perfectly tidy upon our arrival. The welcome was friendly and welcoming, and they were available when we had questions. We stayed for two days. Nothing to complain about. We are very surprised by the many negative comments, which, based on our experience, seem excessive and unjustified. All the best to La Ferme de Lucien, and see you soon!

07/03/2026: A very disappointing meal... €26 for a Savoyard burger... or rather, a steak between two slices of bread... We searched for the Reblochon cheese flavor inside! A side salad wouldn't have been out of place considering the price.

07/03/2026: Oh, what a disappointment! We had a great time at La Potinière this summer and fall. The chicken burger was more than disappointing for the price... The presentation was sloppy. Not a single green ingredient in this burger. We have such good produce in the region... what a shame! The waitresses, however, are as welcoming and pleasant as ever.

19/02/2026: Blueberry tartlet was great. Rum baba was very dry. Much less good in recent years and much more expensive.

28/02/2026: Looking to relax on our last day of vacation, the moment was ruined by a poor welcome. Having chosen two sun loungers on the sunny terrace, I tried in vain to get a waiter's attention to order. After 30 minutes and three glances, one of the waiters shook his head and informed me that "sun loungers must be served at the window," without even a greeting or offering me the menu (we only had the drinks menu and sweet crepes available at the loungers). What a shame, I was hungry! Aren't we allowed to eat even on the sun loungers? Too bad for them, it's a loss of revenue, and as regulars at this resort, we won't be returning. Luckily, the restaurant enjoys a beautiful setting in this magnificent mountain.

23/09/2025: A good little neighborhood spot that does the job. The daily special at €14 is a bit pricey for what's on the plate; for example, the black pudding, at the price it costs, could be served with 50% more without affecting profitability. A shame, because we'd make it a more regular stop.

15/02/2026: We come every year, and ever since our daughters were old enough to take ski lessons, this restaurant has been my daily refuge during school holidays. The staff is welcoming and the reservation system is well-organized, while still ensuring quality service. Yes, we're in Megève, and this restaurant, like all the others, is very popular, especially with its prime location at the bottom of the Rochebrune slopes. A reservation is therefore essential, particularly during school holidays and when the weather is sunny. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Thank you to the entire team, Morgan, and the manager for their excellent service.

24/01/2026: I was staying in Megève and ended up skiing in Roquebrune with my wife. We were hungry and decided to eat at this restaurant at the bottom of the slopes. Incredibly, the person at the entrance told us to wait for a table. The manager was coming, looked us up and down, and said, "Sorry, the weather was mixed, all our outside tables were unavailable." She seated us in a corner inside. Then we ordered our food. The dishes arrived, and it was a disaster. The meat was undercooked, and the food was awful. I can't understand how a restaurant like this can be like that. The toilets were completely filthy, and the cook was smoking in the kitchen. I don't understand why they still have their license. The health inspectors should visit this restaurant.

18/02/2026: Silence, Spa, and Super-Staff! 🤫✨ A great stay. The atmosphere is "Classic Luxury": think cozy wood, deep armchairs, and zero noise. My Survival Kit: 1. The Room: Edelweiss room with view facing the pool and the valley. The silence is so deep and therapeutic. 2. The Spa: The evening massages resurrected me for the next day of skiing. 🔋 3. The Staff: Absolute great. They went on a "Mission Impossible" run to town on a Sunday to get medical mouthwash for my son. 🦷🚑 Note: You need a shuttle to get to the slopes, but the drivers are faster than me walking, so who cares? Highly recommended for the peace, the food, and the kindness.

16/02/2026: The staff are friendly and well-intentioned, but lack the experience and professionalism expected of a 5-star establishment. The rooms could use some renovation and better maintenance. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the showers are not in very good condition. As for the ski room, our belongings were stored haphazardly. Furthermore, the staff's frequent absences meant we had to carry our skis, boots, and poles back to the car every day, which is regrettable for a hotel of this caliber.

01/03/2026: I was disappointed with this restaurant. It's true that it's inexpensive (thankfully), but it's unacceptable that a galette was as crunchy as a potato chip; it was overcooked, just like the pizza dough… It's a shame because these are simple recipes to make, I don't understand it. Furthermore, we waited quite a while to be served.

28/02/2026: The savory crepe was delicious; I had an "Indy" crepe, a real treat for food lovers 😋 I was disappointed by the neglect of cleanliness in the restrooms. It's deteriorated considerably in 20 years. However, the food remains exemplary and excellent 😋

19/03/2025: Superb location Superb terrace A team offering exceptionally friendly and efficient service! Well done to them! I don't like easy criticisms, so I'll just say that the food is home-style, perfect for a ski break. Have a great end to the season and highly recommended for its ski-in/ski-out location.

16/02/2025: The manager was extremely unpleasant and rude. She flatly refused our simplest requests (like adding an egg to our dish), was unable to offer any advice, and, worst of all, yelled at us in front of all the other customers because one of the children with us, a one-year-old, had spilled crumbs under his high chair! Appalling… You should be ashamed of your unprofessional, unprofessional, and aggressive behavior… Luckily, the young waitresses were nice to make up for it :)

29/01/2026: Restaurant IDEAL is far from ideal. Sausage and mashed potatoes worthy of a fast-food joint, at an astronomical price. Dirty toilets. Haughty and disdainful management. Only the terrace and its view would justify a photo stop. A meal to avoid.

14/02/2026: Let me start with the good part, the food tasted ok. Ordered ribs but got something looking like it came out of a can not one rib in it. The server came and took our order and half way through ordering he just turned away and gone we thought he went to bring us the drinks but 20 minutes after he came back and started over... everything was trown on the table didn't felt welcome at all my salad was enriched with someone's hair... at the end he was asking for tips didn't get it and got mad about...for a family of 3 we did not had a good experience. Not a pleasant place for a tourist.( P.S pay attention to your bill we almost got charged 20 euros more got extras we didn't order and knew exactly what to take off without needing to ask)
