03/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to stay at a lovely two-star hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite its category, the hotel stands out for its customer service and comfort, offering a warm and pleasant stay. The rooms are simple but well maintained, with the essentials to rest comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and although there were no frills, the details were well thought out: a comfortable bed, good lighting and enough space to move around. Excellent location and services.

18/09/2024: Not great white bread. Pastries in the sun even if they are refrigerated, perhaps I should not have noticed them during my visit🤔 In addition, no respect for the people who take the trouble to travel to apply and do a test. As no response from the manager despite my 2 reminders, I leave this notice to let people know the lack of humanity that reigns there... no wonder the salespeople do not stay. For my part, I was not a customer but I know that will never be the case.

12/09/2024: Un accueil des plus souriant pour un dîner de qualité. La cuisine y est excellente avec des produits de qualité et cuisinés à l’instant. Les poissons sont frais et les plats copieux, et le conseil est lá pour nous éviter de surconsommer au vu des tentations de la carte proposée. Bref ! Nous y reviendrons c’est certain !

09/09/2024: Si vous recherchez un restaurant de poissons et crustacés courrez y !! Les cuissons parfaites, le produit très frais est respecté. Un délice ! Rapport qualité prix au top. La parrillada avec des supions délicieux, des gambas gouteuses et un poisson parfait. En entrée des couteaux très tendres... J en ai rarement mangés d'aussi bons. Les desserts ; je recommande la glace au pamplemousse. Nous reviendrons.

06/11/2023: accueil chaleureux et authentique, très bons conseils. nous avons beaucoup apprécié le mélange "maison" appelé Deuza, délicieux café. le thé earl grey est très fin. et nous nous sommes régalés avec le chocolat. excellente adresse incontournable à Saint Jean de Luz. nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Saint Jean

24/08/2024: Restaurant review only: We chose a lobster & foie gras menu at 72€/person. The appetizers were great. The rest disappointed us a lot for a 3*: - “Lobster & foie gras” starter: tiny portions, served on a bed of mixed greens and a half cherry tomato - Dish: served with vanilla puree, the same as that on the children's menu. Here again, we were left unsatisfied with the portions of lobster and foie gras. - the children's nuggets were overcooked, almost burnt. - the dessert from the adult menu: a pistachio ice cream with some red fruits was presented to us like a pavlova. It is clear that it has been “very revisited”: we are still looking for the pavlova meringue! The very kind waitress wanted to please our children with a surprise for dessert. Let's look for the surprise... In fact, a chocolate cream with crocodile candies and tagada strawberries. The very steep bill: €320! I obviously don't recommend it.

18/08/2024: What a pleasure at the table!! The service was perfect and all the dishes were excellent. The duck liver marble, the porcini mushroom raviolle, the duck breast and all the sweets were succulent.... with a smiling and very pleasant waitress. Thank you for this moment... I recommend 👍

25/09/2024: We slept Sunday and Monday night. We booked this hotel, which is in the first town across the French border, because they advertise a heated pool. Surprise that we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and they were waiting for us to check-in and close. The boy, very kind, gave us all the instructions. Among them, the brasserie restaurant was closed. The thing is that we couldn't find any place in town to have dinner. We went to cross the border to see if we could find something in Spain and it was like a ghost town. So without dinner in bed On Monday, we intended to enjoy the heated pool and, surprise! The one that is free was closed for "maintenance" (we did not see any work on it) so the alternative was the Spa at €29 per person. A little too expensive! So we were left without a bathroom! On Tuesday when we checked out, they apologized to us and offered us the pool. After our refusal, they offered us 1 hour of Spa but in the afternoon. We had to return to Spain and we declined the offer. A shame about the bad experience we have had. The hotel is very cool and by the way, the restaurant was also closed on Monday night, but this time it caught us with supplies. I think that a hotel that wants to have 4* cannot do without giving dinners to its clients. By the way, it's difficult to understand each other because they don't speak Spanish and they understand it a little like that, like that.

24/09/2024: A hotel not to be missed under any circumstances in the charming, fabulously Basque town of Ainhoa ​​:) Top-notch service, welcome and room! And breakfast, a delight in fresh, local products. The scrambled eggs are to die for :) Thanks to the friendly owners, we will surely come back to celebrate the end of the year :)

17/01/2025: Restaurant not worth the detour unless you are really hungry. YOU Very small goat salad with almost no goat, 4 pieces dueling. Flank steak not good and fries not homemade but good. Tiramisu good. The best: the servers and the fast service. The cheap price.
