03/10/2026: There are two gluten-free options on the menu, both sweet. We had a sort of "healthy" dark chocolate bar with an almond flour base, peanut butter, and a chocolate topping. It was good. A cortado was €2.90. A bit pricey, but the service was good, and it was the only gluten-free place we found open in the afternoon (at 4 pm; this place closed at 6:30 pm). The place is nice, and the service was friendly.

03/09/2026: Excellent service, perfect ice cream scoops, and the waffle cone was superb! A must-try for great ice cream. Flavors tried: espresso, salted caramel, mango, and orange blossom poppy seed.

15/09/2026: Two words: Excellent AND Friendly!! Whether you're a couple or a group of 3 or 4, make a note of this address in Biarritz: it's the best!!! We'll be back because the rib steak is succulent, but we didn't try all the desserts or the veal chop!! See you soon then, and thank you again 🌹🌹

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!

15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.

17/09/2026: I wanted to introduce this place to my friends who were visiting the Basque Country. The service was a bit slow, but more importantly, the hot chocolate, which was supposed to be hot, was lukewarm… When it came time to pay, I mentioned it to the cashier, who casually replied, without any apparent concern, that I should have mentioned it sooner. We're talking about an €8 hot chocolate here! At that price, the quality should be impeccable and doesn't tolerate anything less than perfection. I remembered it as an excellent hot chocolate. Apparently, that's no longer the case, because after reading several recent reviews, I see that we weren't the only ones disappointed. Reputation alone isn't enough to guarantee excellence. You have to work at it every day. I won't be going back. There are other places in Bayonne.

02/06/2026: We've seen many reviews about this café/restaurant... very mixed. Personally, we live in the Pau area and love coming here for a drink. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the setting in Beaumont Park is lovely. We ate here tonight, and the food and gourmet coffee were excellent. No complaints whatsoever, and the waiter was fantastic. We think it deserves top marks for this type of service, and a special mention goes to the waiter. We'll definitely be back.

02/06/2026: I came with two friends and we had a wonderful time. The service was discreet, efficient, and very professional. The dishes were served with great care; even in a bistro setting, you could feel the genuine attention paid to each plate, both in terms of taste and presentation. The cocktails were excellent, and the setting is simply perfect. Admittedly, the prices might seem a bit high, but the experience more than justifies them. This isn't my first visit, and it's always a pleasure to return. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation. Congratulations to the kitchen staff and the teams who handle the service and reception at the hotel.

04/09/2026: A must-visit in Biarritz. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere is very welcoming, at any time of day or night! I highly recommend it!!

05/06/2026: At reception, they offer you a drink (we had a simple glass of water with a little syrup) which is charged for! At dinner, the waitress didn't know what the daily special was! In the end, the lasagna on the menu was reheated and probably not fresh. Breakfast was rather basic. For pilgrims, this place is not recommended given the price/quality ratio.

12/05/2026: If you're familiar with the Louis de Funès film "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" (The Wing or the Thigh), and especially the line "Where are the toilets?", to which the innkeeper replies, "Follow the flies," you'll feel right at home. The rooms are outdated and nothing like the ones on the website; you can hear the neighbor using the toilet. The meal was completely ordinary, with nothing Basque about it. This was the worst accommodation I've had in 10 days of walking the Camino de Santiago, and at €150 for a room with half-board, it's nowhere near the standard of a Logis hotel. I gave my opinion after paying, and the person's response was, "I'll pass it on"... eloquent indeed!

22/09/2026: Typical dishes, perfect service, pleasant atmosphere. All this against the backdrop of Basque pelota. I highly recommend it.

12/09/2026: It's pathetic! I was there eating a €26 menu. They took a long time to serve me. I ate a sad entrecote that had the nerve of Christ all over it, it was like choking. As soon as I finished the meal I had to go to the bathroom, I spent about 15 minutes there, I had a glass of epic. It's a nice trinket but I'm not going there to eat again, not even if I'm invited!!!!

12/09/2026: Two cyclists stopped for a coffee and to refill their water bottles. They were charged for the coffee but were limited to one refill per person. Outrageous!
