02/08/2026: The food was simple and good, but I was very surprised by the service, which left much to be desired: long waits, disregard for customer requests. Very unpleasant, and the waiter offered no apology other than demanding payment of the bill! As a resident of Anglet, this was very disappointing!

03/08/2026: A wonderful dinner at Brasserie Royale; the shepherd's pie and the flank steak were very good. The fries were excellent. The caramelized shallots were slightly undercooked and not quite caramelized. The crème brûlée, made with real vanilla, was delicious. One negative point, however, is that it's not possible to pay more than half the bill with holiday vouchers. That's disappointing.

02/08/2026: We arrived at 12:15 for lunch; the restaurant wasn't too crowded. We received our starters fairly quickly, then nothing for almost an hour. Tables that arrived after us received their main courses before us. We had to ask the waiter about our order, and it was clear they had forgotten it. Furthermore, as we were leaving and paying, we heard the cook hurling insults at some of the waiters... I don't recommend it. The baby squid and the flank steak were good.

26/07/2026: The setting is pleasant. The menu is good value for money. Nothing exceptional. One sliced ​​tomato for the starter, for example. In the summer, avoid eating outside under the trees if there are no parasols. Insects, like aphids, fall from the trees in large quantities, landing in your hair, on your arms, and in your food. When you ask to eat inside, it's possible, but the response is "it's nature." Both the man and woman are only 10 minutes apart, so we suspect this is a well-rehearsed speech, that it's not the first time, and that the customer is being treated like an idiot. But this is where the hygiene of the food comes in. We certainly appreciate nature and the sound of a rooster crowing, but we don't appreciate eating insects on our plate, even if it's a €16 set menu and we're not in a 5-star restaurant. This is not a response worthy of a restaurateur.

13/06/2026: Good traditional cuisine in a pleasant setting, although the main dining room can be a bit noisy at times. Prices aren't cheap, but the ingredients are high quality. The ribeye steak was excellent. We've been going there for several years; it's a reliable choice.

21/07/2026: The pizzas are very good, and the location is right in the center of Laruns. The price is reasonable, around €20 for a pizza and a drink. They speak Spanish.

21/06/2026: A couscous intended for 6 (but in reality, it easily served 8), excellent with its smooth semolina, tender vegetables, and flavorful meatballs and merguez sausages! Bravo to the cooks once again 👍👍👍 no need to go to Marrakech anymore!

20/07/2026: Order placed at 8:00 PM and it's now 9:15 PM and the delivery driver is still waiting for the sushi! Avoid delivery!

22/05/2026: Just a Too Good To Go experience so far: A TREAT! While picking up my basket, I discovered a very, very pretty little restaurant, truly adorable with a lovely atmosphere, a place you want to come back to again and again. A very warm welcome; for me, it ticked all the boxes. Straight into my favorites, in every way. I loved the decor, a truly charming little gem, full of taste and good taste, in every detail. The kind of place I feel lucky and selfish enough to share. Well done! I hope to see you again soon. It will certainly be a pleasure for me.

08/08/2026: What a fantastic bakery we found! The French are known for their high standards in pastry shops and bakeries, and this is evident in most of their pastries, which they offer in great variety. We bought the artisan Basque cherry gateau, and it was delicious. They have a lovely seating area for breakfast with comfortable armchairs and chairs, and it's beautifully decorated.

As for the falafels, they were falafels in name only, and you'd really have to know nothing about them to think they were good. Not to mention that the 30-cent bag didn't even last 20 seconds. 30/07/2026: My fiance and I had an extended stay in Biarritz and, when we weren’t out at the restaurants, this place kept us extremely well fed. There was always something new and fresh to try whenever we stopped in. The staff is also very friendly!

05/06/2026: We spent four nights there on a half-board basis. Hotel: The room was very clean, comfortable, and functional. A bonus: it had air conditioning. A lovely swimming pool with a nice relaxation area awaited us. Breakfast offered both sweet and savory options. The restaurant, with its superb mountain views, served high-quality regional dishes made with local produce. It was excellent and very generous. It has a family atmosphere where everyone (waitresses, cooks, owner) is truly very friendly, smiling, and attentive to their guests. The owner recommended some fantastic excursions! The icing on the cake: the bill wasn't exorbitant. Thank you for this stay!

31/05/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at this establishment. The duck breast served was completely lacking in freshness: it was clearly cooked the day before and simply reheated. The result on the plate was extremely dry meat, which the chef attempted to mask with a generous layer of sauce. This is a shame for a restaurant that emphasizes local produce. I do not recommend it.
