Mussels without fries, roast potatoes! The service was not great, we felt like we were bothering us, we had taken the menu and only the fish soup brought us satisfaction! Dessert of the day, rice pudding not great, long rice not cooked. Dish of the day not great either. Really a disappointment

A small, air-conditioned dining room and sheltered terrace offer everything you need whatever the weather.
A short menu with generous and surprisingly composed salads.
Quality ingredients on the plate, prepared by an experienced chef.
Simple and tasty cuisine at reasonable prices.
We loved the owner's cheerfulness.
Unlike other nearby establishments, this restaurant is calm and peaceful, with no loud singers to prevent you from having a conversation.
A lovely discovery!

19/08/2024: Déco cosy. Bon accueil. On insiste un peu trop pour nous vendre de l'eau pétillante, de l'eau en bouteille, des amuse-bouche en apéro en attendant les plats (soi-disant qu'ils allaient être longs à préparer). Nous les avons donc pris mais ce n'était vraiment pas copieux pour le prix élevé et nous n'avons pas attendu les plats très longtemps.
Tout est bon pour augmenter la facture du client.
Plat gastronomique avec peu de poisson et très peu de légumes. Dessert absolument minimaliste (je n'avais jamais vu servir une part de dessert aussi petite).
Le vin est cher alors nous n'avons pris qu'un verre. Au final, repas très cher.
Nous n'y retournerons pas.

27/01/2025: Arriving late on a Sunday at 2 p.m. without reservation, we were welcomed with a smile and comfortably installed facing the port of La Rochelle. The young woman who served us was really professional, pleasant and smiling, and the dishes & desserts we tasted were good, even the children's menu was quality.
On this subject, as parents, we are sensitive to welcoming children. There, everything was there: high chair or booster seat, changing area, children's menu, small coloring set...
The prices are a little high in our opinion, but we were looking for lunch before going to the aquarium, so it was really very convenient, a good time.
25/01/2025: Friendly setting, warm welcome, perfect service, refined cuisine and careful presentation. Very good value for money. In short, a great time with great food and a great team!

The roasted Camembert is perfect and the accompaniment is hearty.
Missing a little fleur de sel on the table.
The prices are correct for the quality.
The setting is nice, clean.
