21/09/2024: Very good meal. A little noisy on Saturday lunchtime but that's normal given the crowds. Very smiling and efficient staff. For those who like almond paste I recommend the almond apricot waffle, a treat.

30/08/2024: This is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away but easy to access main routes it was a real find. The staff were warm and welcoming and we had a great overnight stay. We had a restorative cup of tea on the sunny terrace after a long drive and then enjoyed the very good sized pool. Dinner was fabulous. A great menu and a real French dining experience sat on the terrace. The wine list was an enormous book and an event in itself. We slept extremely well and our interconnecting rooms were a mix of brand new bathrooms with more traditional bedroom fittings. To be honest I don't think the website pictures do it justice - it was much better in the flesh. We enjoyed walking the dog in the morning near the lovely fields and then a great breakfast and last dip in the pool before heading back to Calais. Merci beaucoup for the fabulous stay!

11/11/2024: What is striking is the kindness and quality of the welcome from the hotelier who goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant. The hotel is very clean, whether in its common areas or in the rooms. The bedding is of very good quality. The general decoration, in blue and white tones, lacks a little warmth and personality, even if one suspects that it is chosen in connection with the proximity of the ocean. The most negative point is parking. However, this is not the fault of the hotel owners, who are victims of this situation through the fault of a neighboring bar owner whose favorite pastime seems to be to do everything possible to harm them and make them extremely complicated parking for hotel guests.

12/09/2024: Resto bord de plage avec agréable terrasse. Prix un peu élevés mais vu la qualité de la cuisine et l’emplacement bord de mer, c’est correct. Le faux filet est bien cuisiné, le filet de turbot est excellent , les assiettes sont très bien travaillées ! Et les desserts sont également fait maison et très bons: tiramisu au citron top et moelleux au chocolat réussi , Une bonne adresse😉

08/09/2024: Accueil très sympathique. Les plats sont bons et copieux, carte très restreinte ce qui laisse présager que les produits ne sortent pas du congel. Nous avons testé un soir de grand vent, nous étions bien à l'abri. N'accepte pas les cartes tickets resto (dommage, mais ça se comprend ;-) )

08/05/2024: Tolles Restaurant - sollten wir wieder mal in vor-Ort sein wäre es unsere 1.Wahl! Die kurzfristige Tischreservierung per Mail funktionierte innerhalb 1 Stunde. Das Konzept ist witzig - jeder Gang besteht aus einer Trilogie - und ist sehr gut gemacht, die Weinbegleitung ist im besten Wortsinn interessant ( und sehr großzügig eingeschenkt !) , die Atmosphäre hat uns gut gefallen und den engagierten Koch,Kellner,Chef ( alles in 1 Person ) zu erleben hat entscheidend dazu beigetragen das es für uns zu einem gelungenen Abend wurde. Mit 79€ inkl. Weinbegleitung nicht ganz billig aber für uns uneingeschränkt angemessen.

The food is very, very good, these are real “homemade” dishes with a very generous dessert menu for a very reasonable price (~€45 for 2: mussels/fries + drinks + very generous dessert). The team (+ the boxer dog) are very nice! We recommend!

30/08/2024: A restaurant based on seafood in the heart of Rennes. The service lacks a little professionalism but this is perhaps linked to servers under contract for the summer? Very little wait which is both a positive but also a negative point because the aperitifs have barely started, the dishes arrive (but the wine is not served so you have to ask for it) The mussels and fries are good with taste and different flavor choices. As for desserts, a little disappointed by desserts that were a little heavy but still had good flavors! A bit high rating for this type of restaurant for my taste.

07/09/2024: Un endroit de rêve, pour une cuisine authentique avec des produits frais. De plus le personnel très professionnel et très agréable. Seul bémol le prix des desserts, d'ailleurs nous avons malheureusement dû faire l'impasse.

20/10/2024: Après une bonne promenade depuis Biarritz, stop déjeuner au restaurant Café Bleu. Jolie terrasse face à l'océan, bien accueilli. Une carte éclectique, pour tous les goûts. J'ai dégusté la friture d'éperlans, servis avec mayonnaise et salade. En plat principal le tartare de boeuf, belle texture et assaisonnement maîtrisé, servi avec des frites, ces dernières un peu molles. Un service efficace, aimable et pro. Addition assez chère mais le spot en vaut la peine.
