20/09/2025: We ate at La Gabare last night with my partner and her mother. It's always so good and plentiful. The restaurant is for sale, I hope it's just a passing idea because we would miss the kindness, the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and their great generosity. It's the second time I've had the mountain burger and I'm enjoying it so much that I hope to be able to eat more next year. And if the restaurant sells anyway, we'll follow Cathy, the owner, in her projects which we hope won't be too far off.

15/09/2025: Very pleasant welcome, restaurant with a view of the Dordogne. I ordered the vegan plate ☺️ a killer with the mint sauce I loved it. Very generous and very tasty plate. I highly recommend it

09/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant by chance, and the owner was incredibly kind, even though it was almost closing time. He explained the entire menu to us even though he didn't speak any Italian. We had a great time, and I'd recommend it. The seafood was fresh and the prices were average for the area.

20/12/2025: A new culinary discovery this year. I've already been three times in two months. There's so much to try. The tapas are perfect for a meal with friends, and you can easily indulge in a few plates to share. They also have daily specials at very reasonable prices considering the quality of the food. There's even a small shop in the restaurant if you'd like to try some of their own products. The decor is fantastic, colorful but not overdone. One last thing: the churros are the best I've ever had. (Served with cinnamon sugar)

03/01/2026: The galettes were good, and the service was pleasant, provided by a young woman. However, the owner was rather unfriendly, which is a shame; we won't be returning for that reason.

20/12/2025: "Don't judge a book by its cover," and that certainly holds true for this little restaurant whose decor transports you back to the 2000s. We were impressed by the simple yet delicious cuisine, with crispy and melt-in-your-mouth galettes at very reasonable prices. Pascal is welcoming, helpful, and generous with advice to help us make the most of the coast. We left with full stomachs!

12/12/2025: The waiter was rude to me. He was sitting at a table with other customers. Talk about unprofessional! The first batch of fries arrived lukewarm, even cold. Luckily, we ordered a second time. The chef didn't even bother to prepare my partner's dessert; the waffle wasn't toasted or cooked, and the ice cream was melted! It's a disgrace, especially considering that for two people, ordering a starter, main course, dessert, and drinks, we paid €74! I will never set foot in that restaurant again!

15/11/2025: For fresh, expertly prepared food, cooked with passion, this is a must. From appetizers to desserts, everything is refined, inventive, and generous. We especially loved the bouillabaisse and the Grand Marnier soufflé.

06/11/2025: Excellent welcome and service. Dinner was superb from start to finish. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly seasoned bouillabaisse. I highly recommend it.

Tataki de thon, brochette de veau et bœuf extra, le puits d’amour… une tuerie. Nous allons revenir en groupe pour un événement. Lieu où on se sent bien ! Adresse incontournable.

26/11/2025: It had been a while since I'd been there. New ownership. The food is refined, the wrap melted in my mouth, I could taste every flavor of each ingredient, and my friend felt the same way about her dish. I highly recommend this establishment, which offers a variety of very subtle dishes.

The welcome is warm, with a smile and a touch of humor from the waitress, ensuring a pleasant experience. The owner comes by to refill glasses, a welcome gesture that other establishments don't offer.

15/01/2026: I've been going to Kelly's for almost 8 years now, and I can say without hesitation that it's THE pub for a great night out in Old Lyon! Super friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff, pizzas and sausages, rugby or football matches, dartboards… there's always a good reason to go. A huge bonus is the quizzes that take place every Wednesday evening! A real pub, just the way we like them, where you feel comfortable and want to stay. Go for it! 🍻

14/12/2025: The bar is a mix of English, French, and Finnish. My friends and I ordered a regular beer; it wasn't good and made us feel bloated.
