01/03/2026: Fantastic birthday party in a unique setting! 🍻 The event: We came to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the place is perfect for sharing a fun time with friends. The welcome and atmosphere: A warm welcome and a great overall atmosphere in an original setting. At the bar: The beers are good, ideal for enjoying the evening. The extra touch: We loved the board games available; they have a history, which gives them real charm and a special character. An excellent experience that I highly recommend for game lovers and those who enjoy good times!

21/12/2025: The wheel has indeed turned. We went because Google mentioned two dining options. The entrance was dismal; in ten minutes, not a single greeting, not even a glance, even though only one couple was waiting for their order. We had plenty of time to see the prices! Personally, I don't appreciate exorbitant prices when the shellfish are right there. There's even a sign warning you not to touch the lobster antennae... In short, not a single glance in ten minutes while the woman was standing right in front of us. Good riddance, we've moved on to other places. Learn some respect and humility, especially with prices that are inaccessible to the average person. We shouldn't touch our antenna either, and you should be spreading tourist traps. There's no restaurant; we should be asking you to reimburse us for our gas.

26/02/2026: Simple and efficient, good value for money. The dining room is small and long, but the sunny terrace is a definite plus. A little more information about the seasonal products on the menu would be great. (Knives, cockles, etc.)

27/02/2026: Not a fan of crepes, but the Viennese hot chocolate is excellent, especially with a caramel waffle! The view overlooking the sea is fantastic. The staff is decent (a bit lacking in cheerfulness and humor, which is a shame) and the place is clean. Perfect for a family outing or a romantic getaway.

22/03/2026: The atmosphere was so-so. I was expecting very fresh oysters from abroad, but instead I encountered Korean oyster flavors in France. They were incredibly salty. (I ordered size 2 oysters, but perhaps due to a misunderstanding, size 3 came out... No wonder they were so small... I kept thinking something was off while eating.) Shucking the mussels was pure manual labor... I ate them, but it didn't feel like I had eaten anything.

03/03/2026: Nice, but could be better. I'm taking the time to write a long review because this restaurant has real potential! The Caesar salad, for example, isn't complicated: you need good ingredients. Here, the tomatoes (in winter!!) aren't ripe and are certainly full of pesticides. The salad isn't very flavorful... I know, we'll say that's typical, but it's the main ingredient. The chicken nuggets are well-prepared but there's too much of them, and they don't taste like real chicken (you can tell it's factory-farmed). A good free-range chicken is good, though, and it's better when you know the animal had a decent life. In 2026, we won't care anymore. The Parmesan is the cheapest kind... but good Parmesan is good. That's also what you expect from a Caesar salad. The sauce is okay but lacks anchovies (traditional in this recipe). The croutons taste of nothing but the frying oil they've soaked through. It's a shame because it's immediately obvious that you've chosen to reduce the quality of the ingredients to increase your profit margins, and we don't want to experience that when we go to a restaurant. Yet, the cooking itself is excellent. You should reduce the amount of chicken and Parmesan, remove the fresh tomatoes (perhaps replace them with homemade sun-dried tomatoes when they're out of season), spice up the sauce a bit, and highlight the quality of the ingredients. When we go to a restaurant, even at this price, we want to eat artisanal, handmade food, local and organic products that respect the customer, the kitchen, and the entire production chain. Otherwise, I'll just buy the same salad at Monoprix in a pre-packaged container and serve it on a plate to make it look like I'm at home. ON THE POSITIVE: The wine by the glass was good, the roasted Camembert was good (the bread was a bit too toasty), and the gourmet coffee was good. The service was impeccable and the setting very pleasant (I appreciated the few comic books available). Everything was clean and nicely decorated.

15/02/2026: The welcome was very friendly. The food is excellent value for money. We were there for Valentine's Day and appreciated their thoughtful touch of a lovely rose. A very pleasant neighborhood restaurant.

18/12/2025: A small, old-fashioned family restaurant where you can enjoy an aperitif with open-minded, friendly locals. The food is excellent, simple yet highly effective, reminiscent of your mother's or grandmother's cooking—in short, simplicity elevated to the level of a top-tier, Michelin-starred chef, without any fuss. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the restaurant is expertly managed by a truly exceptional owner, just the way we like them. The starter buffet is full of homemade goodness and excellent fresh ingredients. The main courses are traditional, but of very high quality, using quality ingredients. The cuisine is prepared with the true passion of a chef worthy of a great restaurant—simple yet incredibly excellent, like Alain Ducasse's, while remaining true to tradition. Everything is homemade with good, fresh ingredients, some even from the garden depending on the season. Good humor is the order of the day, the cuisine is exquisite, and even after having dined in Michelin-starred restaurants, I highly recommend this lovely little friendly restaurant with excellent value for money. Remember to book in advance.

02/03/2026: A nice pub that a friend introduced me to. We went there in the afternoon for a good beer while waiting for the concert we'd come to see at Tony Garnier. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, but it was still very pleasant. I'll definitely go back to this pub next time I'm in Lyon.

15/01/2026: I've been going to Kelly's for almost 8 years now, and I can say without hesitation that it's THE pub for a great night out in Old Lyon! Super friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff, pizzas and sausages, rugby or football matches, dartboards… there's always a good reason to go. A huge bonus is the quizzes that take place every Wednesday evening! A real pub, just the way we like them, where you feel comfortable and want to stay. Go for it! 🍻

03/01/2026: Every time we visit Brittany, Le Grand Largue is a must-visit for our whole family. The cuisine is gourmet, refined, and absolutely delicious, perfectly showcasing fresh, seasonal produce. Each dish is a true delight. The setting is warm and elegant, with a magnificent sea view that makes the experience even more memorable. The service is impeccable, thanks in particular to Sam, who is always attentive and professional. Virginie, the owner, is lovely and contributes to the welcoming and authentic atmosphere of the place. I recommend this restaurant 100%, without the slightest hesitation.

01/01/2026: A New Year's Eve dinner was postponed, and as promised, we went on January 1st. We regret the postponement. Keep up the good work: the food, service, and explanations of the dishes were all top-notch. A very welcoming place with a memorable view of the Gulf of Morbihan. We'll be back.
