The breakfast is varied.
As for the Gaée restaurant, it was disappointing!
We chose this restaurant, drawn in by its semi-gastronomic positioning and generally positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience fell short.
The dishes were presented nicely, but clearly lacked flavor and finesse. For such high prices, one expects more sophisticated flavor combinations.
The service, while polite, was very fast, even too fast.
In short, an okay restaurant, but one that doesn't justify its prices.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal.
The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish.
Note that the drinks are quite expensive.
Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

23/09/2024: Bonne trouvaille lors de notre séjour à Carry-le-Rouet.
Comme nous n'avions pas trouvé de "restaurant" à notre goût à Carry-le-Rouet l'année derniere,et que nous avions envie d'explorer Sausset-les-Pins, nous avons fait une sympathique trouvaille cette année, et pour finir, nous y avons été 3 fois à pied de Carry...malgré les grands vents de ce mi-septembre.
Bons tapas de la mer, très bonnes moules et bon accueil du patron et de son équipe.....

Nous reviendrons loger en septembre 2025 pour 15 jours à Sausset-les-Pins, cette fois-ci...et nous reviendrons encore dans ce resto sympathique.

Je prend quand même mon courage à deux mains pour mon anniversaire en sortant avec mon compagnon de notre grotte pour aller manger un plat de moules au roquefort au bord de l’eau,
Une idée que j’avais en tête depuis des jours et dont je rêvais la nuit.
Étant au cœur de la Provence,
On décide d’aller à Sausset les Pins sur les conseils d’une amie sans savoir à quoi s’attendre.
Après quelques pas on tombe sur « l’Ocean ».
Il y a du monde,
Ça sent bon et les sourires sont présents sur les visages des clients,
PARFAIT.
Seul bémol : Plus de place en bord de terrasse, et manger sous cette chaleur en intérieur ou même simplement au centre d’autres tables me paraît compliqué,
Donc nous décidons de faire un tour et de revenir.
On nous trouve une table sympa, entre la terrasse et l’intérieur, mais très au centre de la terrasse.
J’explique gentiment que ça ira, on m’amène des cartes pour que je puisse me faire de l’air,
Le serveur, la runneuse et la patronne sont aux petits soins avec moi et m’amènent immédiatement une grande carafe d’eau alors même que je ne sais pas si mon état va me permettre de rester manger.
Une table pour 4 s’en va en bordure de terrasse et le personnel ainsi que la patronne décident de nous y placer bien sûr nous ne soyons que deux ! De vrais anges.
Ainsi j’ai pu manger mes moules au roquefort au bord de l’eau, mon compagnon a prit l’assiette de tapas de la mer qui étaient superbe ! Tout était parfait, l’endroit, l’équipe, les assiettes,
Pour sûr nous reviendrons souvent !

Big downside: we saw two cockroaches come out of the kitchen within 5 minutes. No apologies from the head waiter when we told him about the problem.
08/12/2025: I had the opportunity to dine at Brasserie Là Haut, and the dining experience was simply superb. The quality of the food was remarkable. The decor was elegant, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was also very professional and attentive, which helped make the experience even more memorable.
The panoramic view from the brasserie was simply amazing!

23/09/2025: Very good food, seafood sauerkraut, unusual but delicious, shrimp and 6 different types of fish (2 smoked ones were a bit too salty even for me, hence a star deduction) on creamy sauerkraut. Service was quick and courteous, and the view of the bay was magnificent! A great location!
Reservations are essential during the season, as the restaurant is not very large.
