01/08/2026: Dinner with my wife and daughter this Thursday, July 30th, was a very pleasant surprise. It's exceptional these days to find a reasonably priced restaurant with fresh ingredients and generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied. They serve high-quality products: duck, foie gras, veal, lamb, and more. Too many restaurants these days serve you nothing but hot air, emulsions, and vegetables under the guise of prioritizing seasonal or local produce. The owners will be retiring in two years, so enjoy it while you can.

26/07/2026: A few kilometers off the motorway, you will find a stately French restaurant almost directly opposite a large parking lot (caravans are no problem). The service is very attentive and very sweet! The dishes are superbly prepared and delicious! Perhaps a little more expensive than the roadside restaurant, but oh so better. The quality is excellent! Go there to try it for yourself.

27/08/2026: The food is unrefined; the side dishes are almost identical regardless of the dish chosen. It's also regrettable that the portions, especially of fish, are very small for the price. The dining room is noisy. Their strong point: the terrace and the opportunity to eat seafood in Agen.

21/08/2026: Excellent, very generous portions. Lovely decor. The friendly staff take the time to chat and talk about the history of the region's wines. A place to visit again and again!

06/08/2026: Very warm welcome, professional staff. It was very good, and the service was quite fast. I found the presentation of the salmon tartare rather rough, but it was still very tasty. The scallop fritters were excellent, as was the fish terrine.

04/08/2026: Restaurant - fish shop but offering products that come from the other side of the world is still quite absurd when you see the fishing port 5 meters away which loses fishermen every year.

18/08/2026: The oysters were fat, juicy, and so fresh! These were beautiful oysters and they tasted heavenly. The place inside is a bit small and the service was okay but the oysters were 10/10!

14/08/2026: I made a reservation weeks in advance, which required a credit card deposit. While my party intended on honoring the reservation, it was made clear it could not be cancelled on that date without forfeiting the deposit. Confirmed intention to honor the reservation at the request, by email, of the restaurant. Arrived at the restaurant on time and it is CLOSED without any notice. Seriously?

01/08/2026: Hello, We were a little disappointed. The welcome was very warm and friendly, and the view and the restaurant itself are magnificent. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing for the price. We expected better from a culinary standpoint. You're paying for the view, not the food. We ordered a duck leg drowned in lemon-mint sauce, completely masking the taste of the duck and the accompanying potatoes. There was juice everywhere. My fillet, ordered rare, arrived medium-rare. On top of that, the fries didn't look homemade, which is the bare minimum in a restaurant, given how simple it is to make them. I ordered a whisky, and honestly, they served me less than 2 cl for €9. We've been to many restaurants, including some top-notch ones, and we've never seen anything like it. It's a tourist trap; the only thing that's nice is the view. We should consider changing the owner so as not to spoil this beautiful place any longer.

If memory serves, the residents of Évreux loyally frequented this reputable establishment for many years; the service was genuinely pleasant... BUT... Now, the feeling of mediocrity and swindling is deeply distressing in light of this past loyalty.

03/08/2026: The service was impeccable. However, the food itself wasn't great. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were cubes that hadn't even melted. The fried food was full of oil. The quantity of mussels was insufficient, probably to encourage customers to buy the all-you-can-eat option for 22 euros.
