10/09/2024: Stayed the night in the area whilst on a road trip to Spain and just wanted to eat locally. There were lots of suggestions in Bordeaux itself but we just wanted to have a decent meal with some decent local wine.
Wow…this was an absolute find, high end food, service and wine and would absolutely recommend it.

10/08/2024: We just came to change our baby and give him a snack:
- In the nursery the diapers had been overflowing for several days, no more change paper.
- The chairs for the children are disgusting. I could see before my eyes an employee washing a table but not washing the tray of the child's chair which was full of crumbs.
- Finally, the air conditioning is non-existent, it's 40°. Maybe because the door remains open.
In conclusion, if it is to suggest this, shave everything and do a Turkish toilet.

26/04/2024: Kitchen not great, knives not great. There flank steak not controlled cooking and nervous meat frozen fries. The service raises the level a little (Friendly). Expensive for what is served including wine.

10/05/2024: On one of the last days of a visit to Bordeaux, I stood under the awning to shelter from the rain. The interior looked inviting and as cocktail hour approached I decided to go inside for a beer. My husband joined me a little later and we had a very enjoyable few hours. The owner and her customers are super friendly and during our next visit to Bordeaux we will choose accommodation nearby so that we can make it our local brasserie. Our visit to Le 188 was one of the most memorable of our trip to France.
24/04/2024: MAGNIFICENT ENTRECÔTE (VERY HEAVY) SERVED WITH SALAD AND FRIES AND FOR MY GRILLED FRIEND. SO DELICIOUS. THE SERVICE IS IMPECCABLE AND THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE BAR IS GREAT. THANK YOU WE WILL RETURN WITH HAPPINESS.
